We’ve offered fixed-term, fixed rate savings accounts to existing customers since the end of 2020, and launched online savings accounts to new customers in August 2021. Eligible deposits with Castle Trust Bank are protected up to a total of £120,000 by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, the UK’s deposit guarantee scheme. We are also a provider of specialist buy-to-let, and property development mortgages.

Starting a new investment

I am impressed by the support and information that is available, since my induction as new investor, It has made the initial work of setting up my account details much easier than first thought.
The added advantage was the ability to set up the app. on my iPhone where I can in real time, see how my investment is performing.

Setting up the account and the transfer…

Setting up the account and the transfer of my ISA were made very easy. I called the bank for a progress / status update and the call taker was very helpful and provided the update.

Easy to set up but let's see if I can get my money our in 1yr

Easy to set up a 1 Year Fixed Rate e-Saver 4.41% Maturity.
So it isn't or rather should be complicated.

Added 13th Apr
Well fingers crossed. I'm just having difficulty with Plum ISA that can't be transferred out to OakNorth Bank. Not your problem, my problem, but not of my making.
Of course if providers didn't drop their rates (way below others) there'd be no need for musical chairs and upset. Fingers crossed for a year's time.

ISA transfer from another provider

I transferred a maturing Cash ISA to Castle Trust Bank, once I filled in the details Castle Trust did the rest.
All done hassle free.
