I recently left an academic role in Higher Education looking for a rewarding change of career that would utilise my years experience of education and create a. better work/life balance. I was fortunate enough to come across the Catchup Academy in my search, and enquired about working as a 1-1 tutor .
I cannot sing the praises highly enough of my fabulous agent / manager Bianca Edwards. She has been professional, supportive, empathetic and patient with all the questions I have to ask. Bianca has been understanding about my needs and tailored the tutoring experience to my requirements and skill set. Bianca’s commitment and dedication to the young people we support is so inspirational.
I was registered within a few days , received suitable work straight away and have always been paid on time. I cannot fault the experience I have had with the academy, I have received free safeguarding training and the team processing my recruitment process were professional and super efficient.
This role has been transformational for me, creating a work/ life balance, so grateful to the Catchup Academy and Bianca for giving me the opportunity!

Terrible company.

Keeps giving you jobs then at a later stage says you were not chosen after all.

Sent all documents to register and 3 months later sill was not registered. Feel very badly treated and messed about. They recruit more people than they need and then never ever give the work.

Was encouraged to register. I am based in Nottingham. Then the person who I was dealing with me was unfair when I put myself forward for a role. Then she never contacted me again. Since then I have contacted the academy twice but nobody has replied. Not a good experience nor professional.

This company lacks honesty, compassion and communication. They are not interested in your well-being or how great you make the children feel - instead - they penalise you for your humanity and fixable mistakes. They will leave you in the dark and then drop you no matter your circumstances.

Great Pay, Flexible work. Offer a lot of work in the county, so it’s great if you can commute
