The product I purchased was their "Professional Long-Lasting Grey & Black Workbench" which is actually a brand called vidaXL based off of a reverse search.

I ordered over the Christmas period and their website didn't say anything closure during that period, delays etc. and only when I disputed the charge with my credit card provider when I hadn't heard anything it seemed they suddenly came to life and responded to my queries and shipped it out.

Their website and business is near-on identical to another company called Nextday Catering (nextdaycatering.co.uk) which has got actual reviews on Trustpilot over Catering Superstore saying "100% Satisfaction" which is a load of s**t. I'd strongly suggest you do NOT order from Catering Superstore and try another company instead as my product seemed to be shipped from another company called Adexa (adexa.co.uk) so circumvent these drop shippers and go to the source if you really need something from them.

Furthermore, this isn't directly Catering Superstore's fault unless they pack the products, which I doubt, but the product I received had horrendous instructions that gave little to no direction, no piece was numerically labelled and was all based off of guessing which piece was which on the parts list of the assembly manual and the product's drawer has duplicate pieces rather than what I was supposed to have.

One thing I hate is a company which doesnt abide by the law and then tries to tell you that they are right.
Initially ordered Chefs whites (wrong size so never opened the packaging) so I paid for return and reordered but then didnt need them so rejected the next delivery. I was told by CS that a 25% restocking fee applied (as per their T&CS) and I emailed and stated that this was illegal as per the The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, they said I was informed incorrectly and that didnt apply to shirts only equipment (but their T&Cs online remain incorrect) I was then told I would be refunded minus the original postage cost, again illegal as per same law. I pointed this out and was then told they wouldn't charge and give a full refund as a "gesture of goodwill" but said as they are a business to business company the law doesnt apply ...erm no, it's still the law and I am not a business!!
I have reported this company to trading standards for their illegal practices of holding refunds and illegal charges. If you have any problems with refunds with this company please know your rights (google Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013) and report to trading standards

Sometimes patience and understanding is best! I also find that if you have a complaint, I had a very mini minor one, then courtesy works! Blowing your top and demanding the earth is not productive at all. Courteous and efficient - a slight delay - BUT all round a good quality service and product. Of course I will use again!

I ordered 2 little butter dishes on 3 April (order no. 4736) and paid by Paypal. No tracking number in my confirmation email. I waited 2 weeks and rang, and rang and rang. Every time I got through the person I spoke with was extremely pleasant (Gwen, Lyn, David, Jamie, ..... etc) and puzzled that the order hadn't been dispatched. They would send it immediately. It's now 2 months on and I'm still waiting. Last person I spoke to was Jamie. He said he would courier it but he would have to wait till Monday and I would receive it the following week... Ha, what a joke. Tried contacting him last Friday and he was always on the phone and would ring me back. I kept trying and found it impossible to get through. I had the impression that my number had been blocked. It's only a simple order, 2 tiny butter dishes. HOW DIFFICULT is it to package and send them out. I am looking into how this matter can be satisfactorily resolved even if it costs me money. This is not acceptable. Gabrielle

Sadly I ordered a cream whipper from this site and I asked for NEXT DAY Delivery. The first thing was suspicious after my order and payment I could login to the site, but in the evening I couldn't anymore. The password recovery didn't work because with my email wasn't any registered user. Funny. I tried to call few times, once I could reach them, they sad no worries It's sent by fedex. But the next day..nothing. Call again...on the phone they sad, the item already sent by Royal Mail, but they can't give me tracking number. At this point I knew I possibli lost my money...So far I did....

I purchased a set of scales on 30th January and was told I'd have them within 2 working days. Over three weeks later I have yet to receive them.

Every attempt to contact their customer service department has ended with the call ringing out. Calls to their sales department last took 18 minutes to be answered.

I have been promised on every occasion that they would be with me the next day. The staff have been been rude and aggressive, blaming their warehouse department, the delivery company and anyone but themselves.

For a company who's business premise is based on 'Next Day Delivery' this has become a joke, I cannot even get my money refunded because the accounts department were out to lunch.

I am beyond disappointed and urge you to seriously consider before using this company.

I ordered my item over 2 weeks ago, I have recieved an order confirmation email and the payment was made through paypal. The items were listed in stock and the delivery paid for was next day, the items still havent arrived.

I have emailed customer services and called the office (which just rings and is never answered).

I doubt I will ever recieve my order.

Catering Super Store is the only place where you can get every thing from catering appliances to clothing and refrigeration at very competitive prices

Product was as described on the website but was slow to arrive.

Would recommend this company for efficient service, customer satisfaction and very happy with the product. Quick delivery
