I booked the Cat Ppalu for a family cruise and we had a great time. The Exumas are such a beautiful area. We especially enjoyed the Land & Sea Park, the caves at Rocky Dunda, the swimming pigs and the iguanas.
My family went on the Cat Ppalu last week. It is a private charter sailing catamaran that departs Nassau Bahamas. We went with my brother and his family. The boat has 6 double cabins so there was plenty of room for the 10 of us. We cruised down to Staniel Cay so we could snorkel the Thunderball Grotto and visit the swimming pigs. We then worked our way north visiting several of the islands. We also did 1 to 2 dives each day. They said we could do more, but my brothers family doesn't dive. I think we all loved Shroud Cay the most. We kayaked & paddleboard back through the mangroves. The view from Camp Driftwood was specatacular. There were white-tailed tropicbirds nesting by the beach. We also liked Rachels Bubble Bath. This is were the ocean waves would break over the rocks into a channel on the island, leaving a coat of foam over the water. Once we got out of the Exumas Land & Sea Park, we did some fishing. The kids were able to land several dolphin (the fish, not the mammal).
