Great products and great customer service!

I ordered the annual box for my sister as a birthday gift. She absolutely loved all of the products; every box came with a variety of items and a pamphlet which explained the organizations they support and what each of them do. I think they're normally behind on their shipments, but we were never anxiously awaiting our boxes, so it was a fun surprise when they came! I didn't realize the annual box renewed after a year so when I saw the payment go through, I reached out to Causebox's customer service email immediately. They responded in less than 24 hours and accommodated me. The representative I spoke to was extremely understanding and kind and issued me a full refund. Reading some of the other reviews, it looks like some people have had bad experiences but all of mine have been great! Would recommend!

My daughter introduced me to this company when she received her first box, I immediately started my annual subscription. From customer service, email notifications, to products in each box has been a wonderful experience and I’ve renewed my annual subscription. The boxes are beautiful and we keep them for storage, even our 5 year old grand daughter has a box for coloring sheets. Every item and product is of high quality and packed well in the box to avoid breakage or leaking. I have recommended this company to all my family and friends. I anxiously look forward to each box.

Good value overall if you are patient with shipping

I have had good experiences with Causebox. I received my Winter 2020 box toward the end of January and liked all items. My cozy cloud wrap did have three large holes in it after wearing it twice around the house, but customer service handled it well when I sent them pictures. I received a new wrap two weeks later. I've also enjoyed items I have ordered from the Add-On Market. While they did take awhile to ship, that is explained on the website. Given that the boxes average $50 each with an annual subscription, I think they're a great deal. For that price I got a cozy sweater, amazing foot wraps, a coffee body scrub that smells great, eco-friendly reusable ziplock bags, a very soft bamboo pillow case and toner. Again, great deal.

In find it interesting that the only…

In find it interesting that the only positive reviews on this company are “invited.” Were these people compensated for their five star reviews?

I really liked the concept of this company and I certainly understand that you can’t please everyone with the contents of the boxes they send, however, my complaint has nothing to do with that.

As most others have indicated, the lack of transparency regarding shipping times on Market Orders is outrageous. It is clearly stated when you make the purchase that items would start to ship out at the end of December. It is February 18th and I still haven’t received my Market Orders. I’ve sent two emails regarding their lack of communication and was responded to in a rather arrogant manner. They were quick to charge my credit card in December, a policy most reputable companies don’t engage in. Typically your credit card isn’t charged until shipping actually happens.

I’ve cancelled my future boxes and would not recommend dealing with this company. Communication and transparency is key, and this company is not successful in either.

Great customer service

I love my CAUSEBOX! I've loved it for the things I get in the box and now I love them even more for great customer service. I did not receive the email prompt to choose my items for the Winter Box and when I did get the email that it had shipped, I contacted customer support immediately. As it had already been shipped there wasn't much they could do but once I got the box and it didn't have a couple of things I really wanted, they promptly sent them to me, no charge. It was a great customer service experience in a time when I've had lots of poor experiences and annoying COVID-related shipping delays and dropped balls by companies. I really appreciated the above and beyond attention and highly recommend. (Thanks Paolo and Angelo!! <3)

DON'T ORDER FROM THEM

Literally ordered stuff from the Marketplace in November. Still have not received. Every time I send an email they point me to their shipping FAQ's which change constantly. If it didn't say it when I ordered, it's not relevant. I also have not received my winter box. The stuff is... fine. But the company is terrible. Don't bother subscribing.

UPDATE: I (very suspiciously) had my items ship right after this review posted. SO i guess if you want your stuff, complain here. I got basically what amounted to a box of trash. The tea kettle, that I was excited about, can not be used as a kettle. As soon as it got hot the water started pouring out of the spout and all over my stove. It continued to do so even when I moved it to the sink and dumped out half the water. This stuff is cheap and not worth a penny. Really wish i had not subscribed annually.

Really Frustrated and Sad about Causebox

I am not sure what is going on with Causebox as even when I email they have no clear explanation or ability to resolve very late delivery issues. The latest was that I have to wait another 5-10 days to just receive a notice that my box has shipped - never mind the actual time to deliver! Additionally, they keep changing their policies and would not cancel my order despite only being subscribed to seasonal plan. I will be pursuing a refund and complaint through my credit card company and BBB. I am actually quite sad as I love the notion behind this business.... :-(

Winter Box-NOT REC'D February 11th...lol

Purchased my 1st causebox on November 27th...since then, nothing but excuses as to why WINTER box has still NOT BEEN SHIPPED as of February 11th! Don't bother with this subscription..get FabFitFun instead. They don't make excuses and take care of their customers.
Edit...For everyone having trouble getting a refund, contact your payment method and file a complaint with BBB.

Amazing Customer Service

All my interactions with causebox have been effortless and great! The products they send are high quality and I usually end up loving the brands they send. I had an interaction with customer service recently that blew most companies customer service norms out of the water - I was more than satisfied with my experience. Love causebox and the cause behind it :-)

So Dissappinted

I am so sad with how Causebox is choosing to handle the recent shipping issues with the Winter 2021 box.

They’ve repeatedly pushed back promised shipping deadlines and then proceed claim it was the customers fault for not understanding the terms when they purchased their box. How can you understand the terms when they change every 30 days? I’ve never dealt with a company that insinuates a customer is at fault when they have repeatedly changed their own terms.

To make matters worse, they are refusing to offer refunds or even expedited shipping for those (like myself) that have been waiting 72 days for an order...and those orders still haven’t shipped as of this review.

I truly appreciate the Causebox ideology and really wanted to support them as a business, but I can’t subject myself to a company that places undeserved blame on the customer and won’t take responsibility for their own mistakes.

Excellent customer service

Been a part of the Causebox community for a year now and recently received a marketplace order where one of the products had been damaged in shipping, and unfortunately ruined some of the others in the process. I sent an email and received a nice reply stating they were sending a whole new order, which I absolutely did not expect. Love their philosophy and love their customer service.

Terrible! Had to fight for refund!

Terrible. I was excited to try them but 63 days after they charged me and they still didn’t ship me anything. NOTHING. But rest assured by customer service nothing is wrong. So it seems like this is normal. For them to steal customers money. I would not give them a penny. Also if you find something on their “marketplace” you can usually google the item and find it cheaper with fast shipping!

Edit: the company issued me a refund but only after I filed a dispute with the credit card company and also filed a complaint with the better business bureau. This company is not reputable. I will try fab fit fun, as I hear they are better all around.

I don’t know how this company can say they are sustainable and all these good things when clearly their items are being shipped across the world- which is what they are blaming their sending out late shipments. They take peoples money then order cheap crap from the other side of the world and then they wait til they receive it and then ship it to you. Hence the more than 60dqys after you order timeline. You can probably order the same junk for way cheaper on AliExpress- it will still take 2 months to get it but at least you won’t feel ripped off. I think the company at least could have been up front and proactive about updating customers and offer a refund to those that want it. I hope their company goes under.

This company is horrible

This company is horrible! They are asking me to pay extra shipping and refuse to call post office and take care of it. They told me it was my problem when it is actually theirs. I do not suggest doing business with this company if you want good customer service and good products. I suggest people use FabFitFun. Causes has ripped so many people off its not funny. Not to mention don't even have a phone number. So now I am out $65 for facial sponges for my neice. Was supoose to be a Christmas present and here we are the end of January.

Their customer service is incredible

Their customer service is incredible. Though it takes a few days for them to respond, they are so kind and helpful. Seems like they really care about their causes and customers. I had an issue with one of the quarterly boxes I received and they dealt with it in a timely and professional way. I would definitely recommend causebox.

They Take Your Money and Don't Deliver

I like the idea of Causebox but they don't deliver. Literally. They shipped an empty box on January 14, 2021 which FedEx flagged as an exception. When I contacted them they told me to just wait that's normal. It's not normal. Anyone who has shipped anything between the US and Canada knows its not. They said to contact them in a week if I hadn't received it and didn't check with FedEx as I had asked. A week later I email saying I still haven't received the package and it's still in Memphis with a delivery exception. No response. I call FedEx and they tell me that the box was empty so they contacted Causebox as they do anytime something like that happens. So Causebox had this information, didn't look into it more than clicking the tracking link, didn't call FedEx and have my money but aren't actively telling me when my box will arrive. I've sent a third email to which I haven't received a response. Their email response is the slowest of any vendor I've ever dealt with. So, now I've taken to posting on Instagram and Twitter in hopes they'll hate people publicly posting about how trash they are to either tell me how they're going to get my package to me within the next week or give me a full refund. I'm only publicly posting because they're the only company I know of that doesn't have open mailboxes for DMs on at least Twitter to resolve issues when their support staff fail. Way more of a headache than it's worth. Greatly regretting dealing with Causebox. Buy from this vendor at your own risk.

The winter box 2021 is awful

The winter box 2021 is awful. We received a tea kettle that is poorly made, the handle is loose, leaks, and lid does not fit properly.

The planner is being received by customers when almost February - Anyone who uses a planner is already using one and couldn’t wait for an unknown shipping date.

Truly exception customer service!

I absolutely love my seasonal boxes. I upgraded to a yearly subscription so I would have the ability to customize my boxes, but somehow missed the window to customize my last box. I was so disappointed and reached out to customer service to see if they could help. Honestly, they have gone above and beyond to get this issue resolved for me. This type of customer service is what makes loyal customers. I plan to be a Causebox customer for a long time to come!

Cheap product, poor customer service

Cheap, useless good and terrible customer service.

Subscribed for a year so I’m stuck getting two more boxes. Second box in and have been able to personally use one thing and gift two things. First box had oil leaked on literally everything. I tried to return for replacement but they don’t do that. They replaced one item I planned to gift but said everything else was just packaging damage or could be cleaned by me.

Customize email went to spam so I missed it the on the second box.

Can’t recommend

Pass

Well, what can I say. I ordered November 24th. The site said it would ship throughout December and beginning of January. Okay. Cool.

Then they change it to end of December to late January...if you order after December 18th, expect end of January....ummm...this far along and still no box has been shipped....i wouldn't have tried it if I'd known it would be 2 months to ship. I'm not picky....I'm love subscription boxes...this one tho...way easy to pass up...

Not to mention, the ad said customize your box....but you find out when ordering that you can only customize items if you upgrade to the annual....there was no fine print saying that until you're basically locked in. Shaaaady.

Hopefully, eventually, maybe I'll get a box.

Causebox is fill with shock and questioning

First time trying the cause box i receive was a intro box and like many other reviews here it was disappointing and definitely not worth 200$ or even the $150 range. The item i receive was the swell bottle, pmd clean facial and towels. It almost like my fabfit box that i did but fabfit at least have more items and same price subscription like the causebox. It really false advertisement and the only real advertised is yes it was full of surprise and lost when i open my box.
