As someone who had been on the receiving end of redundancy, I needed to find a new role relatively quickly. I thought my CV was ok – I actually am in Marketing, but I’m not very good at marketing myself, so that’s why I got in touch with Laura and Caversham CV Writing.
Laura was fantastic to work with. I’ve noticed that some CV companies, will simply take a look at your existing CV and then rewrite it. Laura though, actually took time to find out what I wanted, what jobs I was applying for and find out more about my career history to date. These personal touches meant that the CV that Laura created for me, had much more of a personal feel and was tailored to the jobs that I was applying for.
The proof is always in the pudding with these things though and I was interested how things would go when I started applying for jobs.
