Great service from Jason and the team on fitting our EV charger, one slight issue that was rectified very quickly, would recommend this company again.

Cawoods have just completed a 4kw 10 panel solar system for me. It was completed with zero stress in a thoroughly professional way from quote to completion. Communication was excellent. A teething problem was rectified next day after reporting. I would recommend this company.

The assessment was honest about how many panels I needed. They were honest about lead in times for the work. The staff were polite and worked hard when on site. Any snags or queries were responded to and rectified quickly

Have used Cawood for years. They fitted my 2 Powerwall batteries, 4kW of extra solar panels and 3 phase electricity. They are not cheap, but they do an excellent job. Also full of helpful advice re suitable installations. In fact I recommended them to my son and they fitted his GivEnergy battery and extra solar. He was also very pleased with the advice and the result.

Not the greatest start! After initially feeling that I had made the right decision to go with Cawoods, both due to the excellent representative who visited me at my home, and also that two local people had also given glowing reports relating to their own experiences with Cawoods fitting their solar panels. Sadly, I was soon to be shaken by their total lack of communication after having paid my first deposit to secure their services and been given a start date of late December 2022 mid-January 2023.
I waited almost six weeks of total radio silence, before I finally telephoned Cawoods to ask what was happening, the promised return call never came!
So a further week and I telephone again, this time I made clear my unhappiness at their lack of customer care, having been fed the standard platitudes, I was astonished to be told my start date was now late February, I strongly objected to this and was promised a return call, when this did come I was given a start date of early February and moves were put in place to arrange for the scaffolding to be erected (15th February) and the installation to commence (21st February).
On a more positive note, once work commenced, I was pleasantly surprised at the first-class workers assigned to my installation, I could not have asked for any more polite, respectful and diligent workers, and in a matter of days the whole installation was completed, very much to my satisfaction.
Taken as a whole I am really pleased with the installation, and given the workers assigned to the task felt more than confident at every stage of the process, most especially the final connection by the electrician who was more than confidence inspiring as he gave me instructions of how the system itself operated.
I have given only four stars to this review, given my misgivings at the early stage of my contract with Cawoods, October 19th 2022 until the first week of December 2022 without any communication is, having paid a substantial deposit quite unforgivable, given that, had I not myself telephoned them, heaven knows when Cawoods intended to communicate with me, and as for making promises of late December 2022 to mid-January 2023 as projected start dates, that too is also unforgivable, in fact, it is absolutely bad business practice.
So, in essence the Cons are: Purely and simply a total lack of communication.
The Pros are: When communication does occur it is first class, polite, respectful and informative, the operatives that installed the system were as I said earlier, first class, no-one could ask for more with regard to their conduct on site, and it was confidence inspiring to see the speed at which they worked and communicated with one another, and of course in the final instance the completion of the connection by an absolutely brilliant electrician.
Since installation the communication has also been first class with all my questions answered and every assistance given to me during my SEG application process.
So, the final question has to be. Would I recommend Cawoods Electrical for a solar panel installation?
Yes, I most certainly would, after my initial disappointment with them, the process once begun was seamless with excellent communication. So, for all my initial gripes, may I finally say a big thank you to everyone, there are no names mentioned as by missing someone out they could be offended, so you all know who I am referring to, you all have our gratitude for a job well done.

Great experience, turned up on schedule kept us informed of any issues, were polite and clean and did not knock off at 3.30 we got a full day.

I wanted to thank both Kim and Jason at Cawoods for their support and guidance for the implementation of solar panels at the Sports Pavillion in East Bridgford. As this implementation was in a public space safety was so important and this aspect of the implementation was handled sensitively and professionally. I thoroughly recommend this company.

In several phases of work, Cawoods have installed a solar PV array, a Tesla Powerwall, a Zappi car charger and a Mixergy intelligent hot water cylinder for us.

Pricing has been consistently reasonable but what really matters is the quality of workmanship and Cawoods has been consistently superb. Since Kim's arrival, the quality of client communication has also improved immeasurably from patchy to very good indeed.

My work was finally started today (Delayed for 13 months due to equipment supplier).
The quality of the workmanship is second to none, both in the job itself, and clearing up and respect for my property. The installation is of a Powerwall system and a car charger.
I will say that customer contact was not perfect during the waiting time, but what matters in the end is how well the work was performed and I cannot give any less than 5 stars for the workmanship.
