Tried to charge me £820 to disconnect a car radio, was only phoning for advice man was very rude down the phone.
The most professional, knowledge, fair, thorough, and communicative staff of any garage I've been to in the UK (loads). I recently brought my Toyota Century in for some soundproofing, as the prior keeper damaged the door whilst removing some options, and there was a lot of noise at highway speeds. The team at CBS had to take apart the door, weld it, and add some soundproofing, but the car is now whisper quiet - as it was meant to be ! Could not more highly recommend, Brad, Adil, and the entire team. (Note, when I went to pick up the car, the Uber driver visibly gasped when he saw how nice the facility was.)

From initial enquiry through to fitting CBS couldn't have been more helpful.
No issues answering numerous questions and even went for a visit to see items fitted in cars and the boss (sorry can't remember name) spent a lot of time going through everything.
After fitting taken through everything including the app.
Extremely neat fitting too.
You could maybe find it a bit cheaper but I challenge someone to find better service.
Would highly recommend.

After doing Audison install to the new work van I found time and time again I could not get it sounding perfect! It was good but I knew there was so much in the system, After talking to Adil he asked me to pop down to have a listen, after listening he booked us in for a tune up on the fonza amp, on arrive he was waiting to book us in offered to drop us off any where we wanted we chose the lovely pub down the road so we could have lunch, after lunch we had a lovely walk back from the village to CBS, guys asked us to come have a look, before they got me to come over and have a look, They set the little one up on the sofa set up the WiFi so she could watch her iPad, but to top that off with it being a very hot day they gave her ice lollys and cold drinks,
We now set off to the van to be shown step by step what they had done differently to then show me a before and after the the grin on my face said it all,
Could not thank the guys enough for there hospitality and time taken to make sure we was happy with the end result
Expert installation of Apple CarPlay, 4 Audison Speakers and Amp into my Lotus Elise 220 Sport. Excellent advice and guidance on product selection and a highly professional installation, which is not an easy task in a tiny Lotus. If you cherish you car, and want the best, I highly recommend CBS.

I went to Cambridge Car Audio after spending pounds at other audio specialists who said a amp and sub could not be added to my Focus ST 10 x speaker Sony system without getting problems , even Ford said it could not be done . These guys sorted if . Thanks to Steve for his brilliant workmanship , i would recommend this company to anyone , theyre the BEST. Thanx guys .

I've used this company three times now.
1st - A3 Reversing camera and sensors
2nd & 3rd was for my C-Class for dash cams and more recently android auto. All three times now they've done an amazing job with the install. Taking time to talk you through how it all works and if there's any issues to contact them. The owner stayed with it way after they should of closed (my fault I could't wait another day) to talk me through how the android auto works and to set it up. I would recommend anyone to these. Great service and always so professional. You definitely get what you pay for with stuff like this.

Rang CBS to ask about an already fitted Ghost immobiliser on my Range Rover Sport( not provided or fitted by them) spoke to the owner….. he could not have been more helpful despite my omission above. He answered all my questions and I left a delighted convert to this Company. I now know where to return to in the future for all security and Audio aftermarket installations. CBS Automotive fitted an Integrated Car Play system in my L322 Range Rover. They completed the work as promised and spent time showing me how to use it answering my questions. The installation looks great and the service was polite and friendly. Phil
If you’re looking for a high quality finish I strongly recommend avoiding CBS and finding an alternative.
I first challenged the Installation over the phone when booking the car in for inspection due to a fault.
When arriving at CBS I was approached by the owner whose manner was very dismissive and evasive announcing that if I had spoken to a member of his staff in the same manner when I called he would have refused to deal with my problem. Keeping in mind all that was stated during the phone conversation was the sub-standard Installation that I received. This approach instantly put me in a defensive state of mind.
After explaining the fault the conversation very quickly moved onto the quality of the Installation, excusing it as a warranty issue.
The purpose for paying the high prices that CBS charge is to receive a high quality finish to which wasn’t evident in my case.
In my opinion when you purchase equipment from online suppliers it’s is expected that you receive everything that is needed to install yourself. Going to a company like CBS you expect cables and connectors to be supplied as part of the installation and not taken from the box, avoiding warranty issues and ending in a much higher quality Installation. Instead I was left with an exposed cigarette lighter connector taped up under the passenger seat.
Paying hundreds of pounds to hard wire equipment into you car comes with certain expectations. These expectations were not met in my case. Avoid CBS like the plague.

Just simply first class service. From the moment I entered I was greeted by professional staff who took me through the various stereo upgrade options for my (non-Bose) 987.1 Porsche Cayman. Including speaker, amplification and sound proofing. Given I'd just bought the car I was somewhat cash starved and options were explained to me on how I could stage the work. I went with a reasonably high spec Kenwood stereo which has been fantastic, the microphone was hidden in the dashboard, and the trim matches perfectly. I haven't had any issues and I'm over the moon.

Great service from start to finish, very knowledgeable friendly staff . Pioneer head unit fitted with analogue to digital adaptor connecting to Bose digital amplifier. New microphone for hands free incorporated, hidden cable for Google Drive. New unit explained and demonstrated when collecting the car. Option of a courtesy car. Car cleaned after work completed. Brilliant service, will not hesitate to use again.

I had a detachable tow bar fitted to my e class 350d estate and the service was first class from the initial phone enquiry to the hand over of my completed car.
The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly with all my questions explained and was even given the use of a curtesy car.
