The "seller" offers 10 per cent discount in it's entire catalogue. they sell items they don't have. They don't answer emails ever. Time goes by... No shipment. No answer. No nothing. More than one month later they answer that they will refund some items they couldn't find. They charge the full shipping rate for the rest of the order. Therefore no discount at all
Run from this seller!!! Shame for the good Japanese Music sellers. DRip off. Waste of time.

It wasn't until I ordered the 2025 Bob Dylan Japan Vinyl Series, valued at €363.55, that I discovered the mostly negative reviews online. I placed my order on March 10, 2025, and received an email confirmation. After that, I heard nothing more (my inquiries weren't answered). On April 2, I received an email from FedEx saying a package was on its way from Tokyo. It arrived in Germany today, April 4. Very well packaged, and my order is complete...

I was nervous about placing an order with this seller, but it went well. I ordered more than $200 in Japanese CDs on Jan. 15 and received order confirmation that day. A couple weeks went by but I knew from online comments/reviews that the seller takes his time. Then on Feb. 4 & 5 I received emails and texts from DHL and the seller, informing me that the package had shipped. It arrived Feb. 6. So I can recommend CDs Vinyl Japan. You might have to wait a while for your items to arrive, but in my case the wait was worth it.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! I am currently in the process of disputing the charge with my CC company. I ordered a month ago. No contact. No record. Nothing from them at all. Pathetic service. A total SCAM.

No delivery, no reply to emails since 4 weeks. I did not expect this from a Japanese vendor. Will contact my credit card company for return of my money.

It's a scam. I ordered a couple of records from them in November 2024 and never received anything from them. I had to get my credit card company to open a refund dispute. They answered to ZERO of my emails. I just wish i'd seen this site before getting swindled.

Beware, scam. The order never shipped so I contacted them. They replied that they would cancel the order and issue a refund. The refund never appeared. Had to file a dispute with my credit card company.

Nothing wrong with this seller. I chose small packet delivery (cheapest option) and it arrived in 2 weeks. There are also faster options like express delivery. The package was professional packed and the CDs were absolutely safe. Everything was like described, new and sealed. No need for customer service. Based on my experiences, I highly recommend cdsvinyljapan.com.

I want to add that I order now on a regular basis. I made 3 more orders and evertime it was a perfect transaction. With standard shipping it takes 2-4 weeks to Germany. Very reliable and trustful seller. 5 stars. Always!

DO NOT TRUST THEM! As some disappointed buyer wrote,they do not have any customer service. No postal adress on the homepage,do not accept PayPal, don't answer to mails.

DO NOT do business with them (or him) unthrustworthy seller that doesn't respond to e-mails, but take your money.

My vinyl was delivered.
Unfortunately the seller will not respond to any communications. Even when sent translated into Japanese there is no response.
I would avoid doing business again with anyone who has no customer service.

Placed order over 2 weeks ago. No comms from company, won't reply to emails.....updated 24/10/24 vinyl arrived after 2 months, all in perfect condition. Overall still a bad experience and the store doesn't reply or send out any updates. Not worth the stress.

Order CDs from cdsvinyljapan never received the CDs attempted to contact many times with no response. Do not order from them they are a scam and will steal your money.

Bought a few CD's that I could not buy in Europe. I had some doubts when I saw the reviews so far, so I did some additional research (for example reddit). The common thing in most reactions I found is that most people receive their orders although sending takes more than the 5 bussiness days they have in their policy.

With that in mind I placed my order and waited for the moment I received a message of sending. This actually happened 13 days after ordering. From then on it only took one week until I got the CD's I ordered.

With those expectations about deliver times in mind I did not contact the customer service so I can't base my rating on that part.

In the end pretty positive about everything.

Took nearly 3 months to deliver a in stock vinyl 12” to the UK but eventually it arrived safe and sound. I did chase customer services but didn’t get a response but then the record was dispatched about a week later. So, if you’re patient and don’t mind a non-responsive shop, my experience was positive overall!

WORST SELLER! NO communication! NO updates! NO response from customer service (What is that..) no refunds , nothing, AVOID!!!

My latest and last order went wrong. The largest, most expensive item was cancelled and refunded. But no partial refund of the shipping costs. I paid more for shipping than for the cd's. Stay away from "CDs and Vinyl Japan Store".

As with most negative reviews bad communication,
these guys don't reply to e.mails , I sent 3 within a month and not 1 reply, Finally had to contact my bank to get a refund... my advice avoid like the plague

I ordered a Lennon vinyl on this site.

They took my money and never responded to any emails from me.

Now I called my credit card company to ask for a charge back.

However, it is also my duty to inform everyone to be careful and not to order on this site because you can run into the same misadventure as me.

UPDATED: Finally received order after nearly 2 months after placing it. Never got any communication until after the order arrived, when they asked for their payment I had canceled with my credit card company. At least I did get my order, but still not happy with the customer service.
