Bag Never Arrived - Celine didn't care
I ordered a bag from Celine online and paid extra for next day shipping as it was around Christmas time and I wanted to ensure it arrived. I followed along to UPS tracking updates until they said that the bag was in 'holding' and I went around in circles trying to contact UPS for updates. I then contacted Celine and they advised me that because I took so long trying to get in contact with UPS it was now past 120 days and they would not be lodging an investigation as to why my bag never arrived. They also refuse to provide a refund or any other support to look into why their product was never delivered.
Defective sandal
I purchased sandals through the website, and a strap broke 2 weeks after I received them. I contacted customer service and Melanie did not share any helpful next steps. I called back, was HUNG UP on by a woman, called again, spoke with a gentleman, Omar I believe, who clearly didn't care at all about helping. He said it would take 8-1 days before Celine decides how to handle the issue, then I would have to send the sandal to them to fix within 8-10 weeks! His tone was extremely condescending the entire time, to add insult to injury.
I have bought from Celine for years but will definitely think twice now.

My recent encounter with Celine has left me profoundly disappointed and compelled to share my experience. Not only did I receive a £460 purchase that was clearly worn and stained with makeup, but the customer service I received in trying to resolve the issue was shockingly dismissive and unhelpful.
Upon discovering the subpar condition of the item, I promptly contacted Celine’s customer service, hoping for a satisfactory resolution. However, their response was marked by a complete lack of professionalism and empathy. Instead of taking responsibility or offering a genuine apology, their representatives failed to address my concerns and displayed a complete disregard for customer satisfaction.
Celine’s abysmal customer service and lack of accountability are deeply disheartening. As a loyal customer, I expected to be treated with respect and have my concerns addressed promptly. Unfortunately, Celine fell short of these expectations, leaving me profoundly dissatisfied and disillusioned.
In light of this experience, I strongly advise potential buyers to steer clear of Celine. Their subpar products, combined with their appalling customer service, make for an utterly disappointing shopping experience. There are numerous other brands that not only offer superior products but also value their customers and prioritize their satisfaction. Save yourself the frustration and seek out alternatives that uphold higher standards of quality and customer care.

Bought a hat which was too small. Bought another one in size bigger, and returned the original using THEIR return label, which is a business relationship of THEIRS with UPS. The package is apparently lost, but they are refusing to give me my money back until an investigation takes place. They said it would take 2-4 weeks. It’s been 7 weeks and no refund and they aren’t replying anymore. Avoid avoid avoid! Wouldn’t expect this from a tiny brand, let alone a global company. Embarrassing

Looking into placing an online order with delivery in related EU country. VAT website states VAT refunds are available for online orders however you need to meet a criteria. One of the requirements is to request Celine online to send the VAT refund form with your delivery. Duncan from customer service keeps stating that I'm not eligible and won't even assist in the matter. Customer service is pathetic.
Order not even shipped in 10 days
Ordered a present for my wife at 13.05.2023. Website says the delivery time is 2-5 work days. After I haven’t got it in a week, I wrote them an email with a question at 22.05. They haven’t responded, so I wrote them again at 23.05 (10 calendar days after order). They finally responded and told me the order wasn’t even shipped. And they don’t know why. I expected they would say some excuses with a description, so I, as a client, would be satisfied. But this didn’t happened, and when I told them I am angry, they said, they are not going to look at this issue and can just send me a refund. So this is it. The top luxury company says to a client, that they doesn’t care why an order is not being shipped in 10 day, and just says to a client to get out. Terrible unprofessional behavior

Quality Control Issue
I should have read these reviews before making a Celine bag purchase. One review in particular relates to my experience. I’ve never had a previous experience with a luxury brand so poor that it left me questioning if I’d ordered from an illegitimate website!
I ordered a small folded Cabas in calf leather which I was so excited to purchase given the beautiful minimalistic appeal of Celine bags. The brand new bag upon unboxing indicated that the snap closure wasn’t working. I contacted Client Services to issue a return 10 days after it was delivered. (The delay to return was because this was a gift and the recipient wasn’t given the bag until 10 days post delivery.) I returned the bag but it was sent back to me citing that the bag was not in its original condition. Of course they shared pictures showing scuff marks in the interior suede, which I was personally mortified by. The truth however is that I didn’t examine the bag in full for quality upon receipt and likely overlooked the wear within the interior because the decision to return was almost immediate since the bag didn’t close. I was likely sent a used or damaged bag without me realizing.
Ultimately Client Services offered to evaluate the bag for a repair but not a refund…..I find myself reflecting on the fact that a brand new Celine bag somehow passed their quality inspection to send out to a client even though the button closure wasn’t working……Does this speak to the quality of Celine products or their process for inspection? I will never know which is flawed, but either is in poor taste for a luxury brand.
Reconsider if thinking about buying Celine! There are several other beautiful brands out there from Chanel to Goyard who stand behind quality and heritage of their pieces. Celine is the only I’ve found which doesn’t, to the point that it left me double and triple checking if the Celine website I purchased through was a legitimate site. (I ordered from Celine.com within the US website.)
I had a Prada bag strap break 3 months after light use. They immediately offered to refund or replace it. This is how I’ve always experienced luxury brands with past purchases. Buy Celine with caution.
Edit: Client Service emailed me back when probed about their Quality and supposed inspection process prior to sending out pieces. This was their response:
“Any immediate repair that was requested would not be considered defective or damaged by fulfillment”
What would a non functional bag closure issue with a brand new bag requiring immediate repair than be considered as? I am perplexed.

I ordered sneakers 1-3 business days delivery. Package got lost. UPS approved refund long time ago, but Celine doesn’t refund my money for 2! Months!!! I call them every week and still nothing. And they never answer emails. Promised to call back - don’t call back. Very disappointed and frustrated. What kind of LUXURY brand us it???

Run from this company! I ordered a leather jacket and it took 18 days to ship. I returned the jacket and 9 days later still have not been contacted by them about my refund. If you call their customer service department, it usually takes about 5 calls to get through. The first few calls, you'll get hung-up on. Oh, and they only have literally one person answering the calls. Some quirky girl that is hard to understand. I will never order from them again.
They denied to return or fix a false bag we bought
We bought the pico belt bag (1400€) on may from Paris, after 2 weeks the gold magnetic closure started to fade and became silver, we immediately contact Celine customer service via email and they told us that they can not do anything unless we bring the bag in the boutique that we bought it. So we book another trip to Paris again for Christmas went to the boutique and the answer for their false product was that they have to sent it to Italy to see if they can fix and they don’t know if we have to pay for it or not and they didn’t know if was going to take one month or three and the best part was that when and if they fix it we have to return to Paris to the same boutique to collect it they denied to sent it to us in Greece where we live or give us a refund or a new product as they should. They did everything they could to leave the boutique without helping us with the bag. Never again!
Terrible Customer Service
I received the incorrect item (the item sent was significantly cheaper than what I paid for). Customer service requested I ship back what was sent. This was for a holiday gift so I requested to keep the current item, but be credited back the difference (I sent the item tag proving the item number and price). Customer service said that’s not an option. Extremely disappointed with their lack of service- if the vendor makes a mistake, then the customer shouldn’t be responsible for making amends. Shipping the item back is a huge inconvenience since I live nowhere near a UPS. Celine can’t call themselves a luxury brand anymore: clearly when they dropped the “é” they lost all decent customer service as well.

Naturally I went back to the store to claim the two year warranty and the sales assistant said
1. It will take up to two months for them to assess and perhaps repair because their licensed repairer is in Hong Kong (are you serious? Two months?!! We are in melb australia not Timbuktu, surely there are local cobbler who they can partner with??
2. I didn’t have a choice, thenother option he proposed was to bring it to a local cobbler which would “void” my warranty. I was like okay, fine put through their certified cobbler then, he then said oh we need to assess the damage if it is by use or checking the serial number the product fault because our zips are really high quality. Well obviously it isn’t?!! I have had Other luxury bags that have held up really well. What’s the point of a warranty if it can’t even replace something like a zipper. It s small bag, like what is the user going to do to damage it? Obviously it’s just poor quality??

If I could give a 0 I would. Ordered sunglasses that were faulty, they told me to not ”exchange” them but to return them and place a new order. They took ages to respond to my message on how to deal with this faulty item case….once I had paid AGAIN, ordered a new pair and waited over a week and a half, I called their customer service to see where’s my order since it’s been a long time (and you can’t track your package online on-time it only says estimated delivery time!!) and they tell me some random name has accepted my shipment A WEEK AGO and if I WANT they can open an invetigation to see what happened, who took it!! OH an also it will take estimatedly a month. No money back no new glasses. Nothing. And they told me on the phone not to get upset :D This is a joke, even fashionnova and every other company I have ever had business with has better customer service.

Very disappointed and not happy with…
Very disappointed and not happy with the service from Celine. I was trying to place an order of their Romy bag (worth £2000). The order wasn't processed right away and then it got rejected after a day without an explanation. When I contacted them, they said it was because of my residential address (they thought it belongs to the campus because the street has a name "University.") So I explained it to them, clarified the confusion and placed another order. It got rejected AGAIN after a day. Now I have given up. They clearly don't care about their sales. Not going to even try to buy from them ever again. How annoying.
