Cello M1118 no audio.
Purchased Cello M1118 laptop and all was good until updated to Windows 11. Then lost audio and their so called Customer Support refused to help solve issue. If you upgrade unit to Windows 11 you will lose audio and manufacturer will not assist in restoring facility. So either don't purchase or stay with Windows 10.
We've had a Cello 12v TV before, vast improvement
We've had a Cello 12v TV for 5 years, the picture is perfect, but the sound was awful and we had to use external speakers. We decided to try the new version as it promises perfect sound and to be fair it's so much better.
However, I am fairly technical and found the TV settings hard to navigate and ended up heading to YouTube for help. The LG webos and channels are also not user friendly, 3 weeks later I am still struggling, although the smart TV i.e. iPlayer etc is easy to use.
I bought this TV
I bought this, TV 32" Q32UK9000 from a well known firm. I then set it up, my patience trying to set this so called smart TV was awful, to actually listen to it was so tinny and had to have sound up to 50 to even hear it.
I must admit i put my 15 year Samsung back up and got rid of this piece of junk to my 5 years old granddaughter who by the way is more smarter than this so called smart TV, she uses it for games and not to watch TV. I will now stick to Samsung/LG or any other TV as long as its not a British Cello TV.
Terrible attitude from staff.
I will never buy anything from this company again. I ordered a replacement remote from their site. I ordered the one that was suggested via the model number. When it arrived it didn't work. I called cello for support as spoke to the worst customer Omer service person I have ever had to deal with. She (Ja**e) was in helpful and argumentative. I eventually got her to email a freepost address. I returned the remote but received no refund. I have emailed the and they claim not to have received the returned remote. This was without doubt the worst experience I have had with a customer service agent. Cello should be embarrassed at the attitude of there staff member (J"y"e).
New TV, reasonable price, great quality.
So I've been wanting to support British manufacturing more and became aware of Cello while looking into upgrading my TV. They have some pretty mixed reviews so I was unsure how well they would hold up against other more established brands.
I ended up looking at a few British TV brands (there are like 3!?) through retailer Richer Sounds and after watching a review video I decided to give the Cello R55UK9000 a shot. It was similar price to a lot of other well known brands and Richer Sounds had some decent praise for it (it sounds like they had a hand in designing it).
We've had it up for over a month now, and I will say I do not regret my purchase. It's a really decent quality TV and because they use LG OS there's some great features on it. Kids in particular love the magic remote which allows you to enter a point and click mode instead of having to use the buttons. I was wondering if we would need to install a soundbar as Richer Sounds did suggest it's speakers aren't huge, but the sound quality and volume is great for the size living room we have. Was impressed enough with the TV that I've my family and my sister has bought a smaller one for her daughter.
I had a faulty traveller 22" tv
I had a faulty traveller 22" tv, they sent a main board which I ordered, but didn't work and they sent 2 more, another board for power and a software update sadly the picture would still not come on as I'd ripped the aerial off the main board. Can't fault the support given, ended up giving my money back so I ordered a new TV from them which appears to work fine.
They buy fake reviews
Never trust this company all of are fake reviews. They buy it from Bangladesh and this Bangladesh review provider didn’t paid their team members
Faulty Tv
Bought a 27” 12v smart tv , had nothing but problems with not switching on just flickering red light , contacted them on several occasions and they said it was a power problem, whatever it doesn’t work on 12v 99.9 % of the time , avoidant all costs
TV didn't work properly from day…
TV didn't work properly from day delivered. However, I initially thought it was a problem with aerial. Sometimes it worked, then for no reason was unable to turn it on. Cello refused a refund as they said the TV was returned out of the return window. Awful service. Will never use again.
Purchase the TV direct from cello and it arrived the following day excellence service.
I did some research before purchasing this television and hoped it would be good. I've been absolutely delighted with it and would highly recommend it.
Nice picture but with poor sound
Nice picture but with poor sound quality. Light and easy to use in our motorhome and the perfect size for our use. Does not store previously used wifi router details which is a bit of a bind and even when a WiFi connection is found it struggles to get to the stage where the password is required. This only occurs away from home broadband on camp sites. I suspect this is an issue with signal strength although it does identify the site system. Can overcome the sound issue with a good Bluetooth speaker
19 inch TV will not work with a table…
19 inch TV will not work with a table top aerial. I purchased the item via the Tesco Marketplace. I am trying to return the item as I am entitled under UK consumer laws. Tesco say I must speak to Cello and Cello say I must speak to Tesco. Hopeless customer service from both Cello and Tesco.
19" smart (sic) TV is a useless piece…
19" smart (sic) TV is a useless piece of junk. Constantly requires a convoluted update which often end S up in loss of connection to terrestrial TV. It needs to warm up ( in the 21st century????) and then automatically links Internet rather than terrestrial. Picture quality just about acceptable, sound bit tinny.
Bought it a year ago. Can't find another 19" set or it would have been in the bin long ago. Today another failed retune hence the RANT. SO FRUSTRATING.
BE ADVISED AVOID AVOID AVOID.
Amazing...
Marvellous
Marvellous!
Lovely 24" TV for our kitchen. Works a treat and delivered safely by DHL.
first class post sales support
the Cello support team went above and beyond to supply a missing remote control for a TV in an ICU treatment room that my wife was in. Thank you so much for going above and beyond !!!
It can’t play NowTV
It can’t download the NowTV App and can’t therefore play NowTV. How on earth can you sell a TV as a smart TV when you can’t download the NowTV App. Of course, I can plug a laptop into it, or a firestick or a NowTV box, but it is meant to be a smart tv. And it is not. It is a limited tv and I’ll be sending it back.
VERY POOR DELIVERY SERVICE
Purchased a Cello TV, they offer standard next day delivery, which I stated I did not require as I was away but fixed a day 5 days later.
On delivery day I checked on time of delivery and was told it had been delayed and would be delivered next day. This was no good as I had other plans.
Rang Cello there was nothing they could do to get delivery to me today, only option they offered was for me to collect from their depot at my expense or have my money back.
I needed the TV so had to change my plans to wait in until next day.
This is no reflection on the quality of their product, which I have not experienced yet.
19 inch 240/12v TV/DVD
All good, but please use another delivery courier. DHL are 100% rubbish
