I purchased 500 minutes when my husband went to altcourse. It ran out quickly so had to purchase another 500 minutes. It seems more expensive than other providers. The worst bit was every time I tried to call no one ever answered which was frustrating! Don’t feel like I got the best service and wouldn’t recommend. I’m now with a cheaper provider and have had no problems.
EXCELLENT SERVICE We have been using Cellphone Rocks for about 2 years and haven't been able to find a better or cheaper overall service. COMBINING The cost for my Package with the charge for my inmate to ring me (on my mobile) comes to 9 ppm weekdays and only 7 ppm at weekends - we use their 1,000 minute package. And I get notice by text whenever I need to 'Top up'. They have never 'cut' any calls even when the 1,000 mins eventually run out during a call - they simply show it as 1,017 minutes at the end- Eg. how many additional minutes have been allowed.! EXCELLENT..
Service was ok but often a bad line. I was paying £26 a month for a landline number on my mobile and have recently found a much better company give me a better service for £1.99 a month for the first 3 months and then £9.99 a month thereafter on a 6 month contract, aimed at businesses but they had no problem with me using it for personal reasons. In comparison I think it's disgusting that cell phone rocks can charge such an astronomical amount especially as I started off paying about £20 a month and the longer I've been with them the more they think they can charge me! Preying on the vulnerable! Do more reasearch and AVOID AVOID AVOID
