I am now going on Day 29 of my terrible experience with Centricity / Epic. In the last week I have spoken with five different people at Centricity. They all give me the same script - their notes on my case are three weeks old, they have no information on the recent service visit, have no information on the parts that were ordered and have no notes from the previous calls I have made to them. The only place you can call is a call center where they have no access to the "service center" or the people who dispatch the repair companies. They cannot see any information from the repair company. They can only send emails and text messages to the repair people and tell me repeatedly that they have not heard back from anyone. They tell me each time I call that they are "escalating" my issue... but nothing changes. I finally got a call from a guy named Kirk after I left this first review. He was very dismissive and said something about someone not reading the notes from the repair man. The last repairman (almost two weeks ago!) ordered additional parts and has not heard back from the service center. Kirk told me he would look into this and would get back to me. I have heard nothing back form Kirk. When I called the call center today they refused to connect me to "Kirk" and also told me that there was no guarantee he would call me back if they gave him a message. This company seems to have outsourced their call center, service center and repair people. There are at least three different entities involved and none of them are communicating, working together or fixing my refrigerator. Any company that sells their customers a warranty from EPIC or CENTRICITY should be ashamed!

I am going on day 25 of my refrigerator not working. I have been assigned three different repair companies. They first assigned the ticket to a repair service that is not certified to work on my model of refrigerator. I had to follow up with them to make them aware of that and have it assigned to a new company. The second company sent someone who came to look at my refrigerator and ordered parts for the repair. That second person refused to come back and repair the machine because he said he wanted to order the parts himself and did not want to use the parts they sent. They then assigned it to a third company. They came last week and determined that the refrigerator needs a new compressor. He ordered the parts through their service center LAST week.
I have called their support line to find out when the parts can be ordered so it can be repaired. Everyone I speak to tells me it can take 24-48 hours (script) to hear back on parts orders. It has now been four business days / six calendar days since the parts were ordered. I have heard NOTHING. No one can give me any information or answer. The call center people tell me that they have no way of speaking with the service people and can only send an email. When I asked to speak with a supervisor they tell me that no supervisors are available.
I purchased a warranty from a company called Epic when I bought this refrigerator and this company Centricity seems to be their servicer. They have horrible customer support and it takes an inordinate amount of time to get things repaired.

Our refrigerator stopped working and is unrepairable. Paperwork was submitted a week ago, and we are still waiting. When I called to get an update, I spoke with an offshore representative who read from a script. When he became increasingly unprofessional, I asked for a supervisor, and he continued to recite his script and refused to transfer me. When I told him that I was recording, which I am legally allowed to do as I live in a one-party consent state, he became irate and said I didn't have permission, then hung up. We still have no idea when our fridge will be replaced.

Called back on 6-4 and spoke with "David". He told me that the last person I talked to provided incorrect information. Our claim was only submitted for final approval on June 3, and it will now take another 2-3 days to be approved. Requested to speak to a supervisor and was left on hold for 10 minutes.

Called again today for an update on our claim, as we are now 2 weeks out. I should note that the information about replacing our fridge does not appear in the Centricity portal, which forces me to call. This time I talked to Donna. it has been escalated and still hasn't been approved. She has now told me that it will be 5-7 days before my claim is reviewed. She then asked me if I was recording the call. When I explained to her that in the State of Nebraska, it is a 1-party consent state, and I have the legal right to record calls, she told me I did not have the right to record the call and hung up on me.
I have provided my information to Centricity to look into the claim, as they requested. And here we sit. This has been frustrating and I am beyond mystified by the lack of professionalism and consistency amongst the employees and the blatant refusal to my legal rights. I will be escalting this issue with my local Attorney General.
It took THREE weeks for them to replace the fridge.

They don't refund 100% of the washer we purchased. I called several times and two of the representatives were rude and I was disconnected once. I was told they would escalate my call and have a manager return my call. I'm still waiting.

VA - My dryer's heating element did not work and needed to be replaced. I have several kids in sports and do a ton of laundry. It has been rainy and cold this month, so drying outside has not been an option. I called in the issue at the end of April and provided them with the model number, etc. They said that an appliance repair person would be out by the end of the week (May 2) which was helpful because I had a big event over the weekend and needed the dryer to work to clean tablecloths, etc. The repair person could not come until May 5. From the third party repair person I learned that sometimes Centricity sends out the parts ahead of time, but that they could not repair the dryer until the parts were sent. The repair person indicated that it should be done in two days. And I later confirmed that is how long it would have taken if I were paying out of pocket. I called the next week and was told that the parts were not approved yet. The following week the same. Then I received a call from Centricity where they asked me for my model #, etc. I expressed disbelief on why they needed it and they said that they needed it to order the parts. These are the same parts that the appliance store said were usually ordered before they arrived. I asked to speak to the manager and was told I would receive a call back. I never did. The following week I was told by Centricity that the parts order pricing still had not been approved. Yesterday I was told that the approval for paying for the parts just went through -- OVER A MONTH AFTER I CALLED IN THE REPAIR. Again, I asked to speak to a manager and was told that I would receive a call back -- that still hasn't happened. I told them that this was absolutely outrageous and no one buying a warranty expects that they will try and delay so long that you pay for the repair yourself. I was told, in response, to read the language of my contract. What ever happened to the implied duty of good faith and fair dealing in contracts? Have they forgotten that the company providing the warranty cannot unreasonably deny claims, delay service, or create barriers to fulfilling the warranty? A simple repair that normally would have been handled in a couple of days has taken over a month. In response, the representative told me that he absolutely could not provide me with any sense of timing of when my dryer would be repaired. The company has been rude, unresponsive, and incompetent. Update: I submitted the information from my contract per your request to prove that this was a legitimate complaint. This is unlike the numerous reviewers who gave this company positive reviews for selling them a policy (as opposed to actually having to use the policy). I question why those reviews have not been removed since they throw off the average and bury legitimate reviews. I also question why the company so quickly tried to invalidate my review. As an update, my dryer finally got repaired yesterday afternoon after over a month, numerous complaints, and a review here.

I haven’t had to call you for anything. I have not had a problem with my appliance,it’s too soon.

Just registered for this appliance protection plan so no experience yet with Centricity. Log-in process seems easy if need to request service.

Purchasing my wash machine was easy and staff was helpful. Delivery was able to be set 2 days after purchase. Installation was great. The machine was easy to use and worked well on Nornal and delicate cycles. When I used the towel and the heavy duty cycles it would stop and then would not spin out the water. Repair came out day after I called and replaced a lock. Thus made no difference. He then came back 2 days later and replaced the computer boards. The machine would not work at all. He now has ordered a brand new machine which will be installed tomorrow. The company has been very good with repairing and replacing. It is just an unconvinced to have a wash machine that is a ‘lemon’

They are horrible people to deal with. I have the extended coverage for my AC unit. The freon ran out (is what the repairman told me) and they do not put in new freon. So, it's either a new AC unit or $$ to replace this one. I filed the claim APRIL 4! As of May 17th, they are still dicking around with this. I call almost daily. IT'S HOT IN FLORIDA. Never again will I deal with them. NEVER. STAY AWAY. THEIR PHONE LINE SAYS FAST AND RELIABLE SERVICE. BS

Been calling for weeks and they keep telling me they will escalate it to their supervisors. They just say that so they can get off them phone. Such a headache. Got sold this Warrenty and was told I can just get it switched out but have to go through this. Terrible company and service.

Spicers listen to our concerns and needs and provided a product as we discussed. We were very pleased with all of our new appliances.

I went into Northern Tool looking for an air compressor that would work best for my needs. The staff greeted me and also asked if they could help me. With their knowledge I picked the one they said would work best.i have been using it for many applications and it has been exactly what I was wanting.

First: The time for claim to be approved by Centricity is too long. By the time the claim is approved and we get the repair scheduled, a week without my dryer has passed. If I paid a repair company myself, I'd have it repaired with the first visit. Not with Centricity. They send someone out (more than a week after claim approval), and even though I new what the problem was, they didn't have the part on the truck, so they had to order it (also more waiting for approval from Centricity) and then schedule a return appt. For my last claim (belt breakage), I gave up after 19 days without a dryer. I bought my own belt, spent hours repairing it myself. It was not easy but at least I learned a new dryer repair skill. Now this not even 4 year old dryer isn't drying the clothes. I submitted my claim on Friday 5/10/25, and the claim still isn't approved so we cannot schedule the repair yet.
2. Why does Centricity send a survey via email before the service is even scheduled? It asks "We hope everything went smoothly with recent service visit.. please complete this survey". This is the second time it has happened! The claim isn't even approved yet and you want me to review the service?
3. The centricity website pops up errors when you try to edit your info (add phone or email). The error code is about a date of birth (which isn't a question). Also prevents you from moving through the claim screens. I had to call customer service to help submit the claim. I did tell the customer service about the website problem, but it is still happening today.
Right after reviewing Centricity's claim experience, they actually cancelled my pending claim. They are targeting me because I told the truth.
