I found it inconvenient by not being…

I found it inconvenient by not being able to get help on the telephone but that obviously due to circumstances at this present time.
I dealt with it by asking question by email . I found it quite easy , all my question were dealt with great efficiency and put my mind at rest.
Signing up was again easy and very quick response with emails confirming my plan plus account . Fingers crossed I have made the right choice .
Many thanks Mrs J Strangward.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!
I made this mistake as they came the lowest in the comparison site.
Its true what they say, you get what you pay for and in this case you don't get s**t back.

This is the company I called to make a claim on my radiator and the lady on the phone is telling me to try to fix it myself if I can as they don't really want to send someone out. After arguing with her, saying what's the point of the cover if you telling me to fix the problem myself I cancelled straight away. They bloody had the nerve to charge me cancellation fee aswell as my cover went Zfew days over cooling period.

DO NOT USE THIS CLOWNS, THEY WILL HAPPILY TAKE YOUR MONEY, BUT MAKE A CLAIM THEY WILL DO NOTHING IN RETURN

Quick & Easy!

Policy was simple and easy to set up via website, although would have liked to have been able to speak to a customer representative but unfortunately lines are closed (likely due to the Covid-19 issue). Seems competitively priced and comprehensive cover so time will tell what the service truly proves to be like!

Please don't use. Very poor customer service and website.

Very poor customer service and website. Had to ring to request annual service as didn't get replies to emails. Didn't get CP12 certificate when should have at time of gas boiler service. Tried to cancel annual renewal and unable to on website, all phone lines closed except claim line for uncontrollable water leak so used that successfully after several attempts. Finally did receive an email confirmation from them. Polite lady but overall experience of company is poor service, poor communication and generally unprofessional - unfortunately I won't be using them again and couldn't recommend them.

Poor experience with Certi

Just received an email from Trust Pilot to say Certi felt that what I wrote originally was deformation and unless I can prove that my bad experience with them was all in writing they will delete my post. Well I can't, because Certi won't put anything in writing as this would mean they would have to live up to it which they clearly wont as show by all the people they have let down who have also posted here. I gave Certi multiple opportunities by phone to put my complaint right but they chose not to on each occasion and made all the excuses in the world for not fixing my boiler when I needed it, nothing what so ever just excuses. They chose to just ignore my calls instead with promises they will get back but never did and even now that they want me to remove my post they will still not talk to me to resolve it, they just want Trust Pilot to delete it in the hope it will go away. Well I can keep.writing these all day just like all the other people they have met down by not fulfilling their end of the contract as said already, use them at your own risk. If Certi wants to attempt to resolve my issue please let.me know, then I may reconsider but they wont. Also Certi, how about you show evidence of how you resolved my issue and prove you were not incompetent in responding to my enquiry, instead of calling everyone who has stood up for the protection of other consumers who will have the displeasure of thinking they are covered by your policy to find out you will use every excuse in the book not to enact it. This is not deformation, this is an accurate description of my experience with Certi and nothing less.

Appalling I was told company Not regulated

Hi,
I took out home emergency cover with you back in October 2019 . I was promised a CP12 inspection would be done in January 2020.

Upon taking out the insurance the representative told me, a note was placed on my account for it to be done as soon as possible in January 2020. I called in January and had spoken to the same representative and she told me the engineer was notified and it will be done.

In February I called back and spoke to a male representative. I could not believe I was talking to someone from a UK company. I have never experienced such unprofessional, rude and appalling behaviour in my life. He told me he can see that the engineer was notified, but he would just have to check and see what happened. I told him I’m at my wits' end. I told him I will be reporting the matter. He went into one. He made me aware that I should go wherever, as this company is not regulated by anyone.

I called today March 11th 2020 and have been told the same story, that the engineer will be contacted. This is disgraceful behaviour and all customer should be aware of your service. I now learned that I am dealing with a company operating in modern Britain who is not regulated. Talk to customer the way they want. Not carrying out what they are paid for. Not living to their terms and conditions.

I will spend my last to get justice and will make this email public.
Regards

Easy to set up good and extensive cover…

Easy to set up good and extensive cover at a great price. This is the second year with Certi and as with any other suplier it is cheaper to rejoin than to continue with the same contract but I had the pleasant surprise to find the same cover - Home Plan 500 with £3.95 p/m cheaper. Last year the boiler service was done after 90 days, but I do not mind as long as it gets done. Highly recommended

We are sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the service provided by Certi. On this occasion our engineer attended and identified the fault, but was unable to effect a repair due to access restrictions.
You was advised that we would be happy to carry out the repair of your central heating system if access was provided, but unfortunately this was declined by yourself.

Certi UK Ltd are still illegally trading even when they have closed down since 23 July 2019.

Certi UK Ltd are still illegally trading even when they have closed down since 23 July 2019.

Please search on companies house website with Certi UK's company number 10803441

I had 12 months cover with Certi UK and the very first time they came out to fix my boiler, they caused more damage and then refused to fix it completely.

I had to take Certi UK to court for damages they caused to my boiler which I won. But I cannot get my money back for any damages and court costs. This is because Certi UK Ltd registered dissolved on the 23rd July 2019 with conpanies house.

Certi UK were still taking money out of my bank account 3 months after they had dissolved on the 23rd July 2019. This is when my 12 months contract ended with them. Which by the way I had nightmares trying to stop their auto renewal.

Certi UK Ltd still have their website up and running taking people's money.

On Certi UK's contact us page it clearly says:

All Certi service contracts are administered by HEC facilities LTD registered in England and wales (Company No 11891150) on behalf of Certi Holdings LLC registered in Delaware USA (Company No 7288005)

The judge at my court hearing said because Certi UK are officially registered dissolved with conpaines house and closed down, I cannot enforce my judgement order and send bailiffs around to Certi UK's registered business address to claim my money back.

My judge said because Certi are now officially registered in Delaware America. This is obviously to stop people taking them to court.

Also If I want to claim any of my money back, I would have to take them to court through the courts in America.

Good luck to anyone else trying to take Certi to court..

AVOID CERT.UK

I swapped from 24/7 to Certi in January solely as the renewal worked out cheaper for same cover. My boiler had been serviced a week prior to signing up with them.
On Sunday 16/02 I noticed a loss in pressure so topped it up but pressure continued to drop. I immediately contacted them and eventually an engineer attended today (19/02).He did a thorough check and concluded that the pressure vessel and valve needed replacing. Said he would send a report to Certi to ok the work.
A few hours later I received a call from Paul stating that he believed that fault was an existing one prior to me starting the contract so not covered. I pointed out that the boiler had been serviced a week prior to me signing up with them and was in full working order. He just told me that quote I HAD TRIED IT ON AND FAILED. When I challenged him on this he just said that he was cancelling the contract and refunded my two payments.
BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY

We are sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the service provided by Certi. On this occasion our engineer attended to investigate the problem with your boiler in a timely manner. On inspection, it was determined that the boiler had been leaking externally for a a considerable length of time due to the excessive staining and rust marks on your external wall and as you had been in contract for under 30 days, the problem was deemed to be pre-existing.
