Day 5 and Day 8 test cancelled the day…
Day 5 and Day 8 test cancelled the day before due to take. I didn’t see the email immediately (it went into my SPAM folder) so I took the test and sent it anyway … Imagine my shock on reading the cancellation email.
They “lost” my certificate on Day 2 (found it eventually and a very nice man called me directly) but in general they have been IMPOSSIBLE to get hold of. This start-up is based in Spain and Estonia and the answer machine gave a message in Spanish. Emails and calls went unanswered. Is this the future for the UK - these kinds of businesses making money out of the pandemic? This company was set up by the CEO of Transferwise - a financial company, similar to PayPal. My visit to the UK was not a holiday. The stress was definitely made worse by this test experience. However I’m forever grateful to the lovely NHS that stepped up and helped me out when this private testing company cancelled the tests I’d booked and paid for well in advance. If the government ever sells the NHS (please don’t!) we can all expect to be at the mercy of these private companies in the future. When profit is put before people, that’s a sad day for all. Thank you a million times to the NHS. I will not forget their efficiency, competence and kindness.
As for this COVID testing company called Certific, unfortunately I do not recommend. Yes, they are cheaper than most of the others but I found them to be unreliable and untrustworthy.

Hi Beth. Firstly, please accept my apologies on behalf of the Certific Team for being unable to provide the excellent service that you deserve. We recognise that, as with many other test providers, we were not fully prepared for the sudden influx of orders and general enquiries we would receive when we were listed by the UK Government as authorised providers. This unfortunately did cause many delays with both communication and delivery from our side as we were just a small team and were unable to manage the huge volume of calls, emails and orders. Due to this we made the difficult decision to cancel and refund any orders that we felt we were unable to fulfill. We have worked tirelessly to grow both our Customer Support Team and our Dispatch Team to ensure that this does not happen again in the future. As you mentioned, we do work from the UK, Spain and Estonia and we hope to extend to more European countries in the near future but have decided to delay our expansion and concentrate solely on the UK given that our current Dispatch Team and more importantly, our laboratory, are based in London. Once again, please accept my apologies on behalf of the Certific Team. Rebecca
Day 5 test to release test cancelled 2…
Day 5 test to release test cancelled 2 days before arrival - email arrived just before I clicked “send” on my passenger locator form with all the details. Very annoying
Update - I had already booked a test also for Test to Fly and this service was great. They made a change in date simple and were able to return my result within 36 hours so I could enter France within the 48 hour cut off limit and had very responsive and helpful customer service

Covid tests order cancelled
They just cancelled the Covid tests I ordered 3 days before I am due to travel due to "logistics error". Now I have to try and find another providor which will cost me a lot more.
