Poor quality control and customer service

Got a brand new R5 (2023 model) few weeks ago - the seat keeps going down during my 35/40 miles ride. I was really surprised that such as expensive bike came with defective parts. Cervelo is sending new seat post and new seat clamp, but they refused to ship overnight - I'm very disappointed about customer service. I spent $9K for that bike, and they are trying to save probably $50 in shipping costs. This is my first and last Cervelo!

Bottom bracket problems no warranty

In june 2022 I received my Cervelo Aspero Apex. After riding less than 200km in dry bottom bracket started keeping sound. I contacted Cervelo customer service and they just forwarded to local distributor. Distributor in Finland is also bike shop. They said they will not handle if it’s not sold by them. (GOOD THAT CERVELO AND THEIR DISTRIBUTOR DONT HAVE ANY COMMUNICATION). After I told Cervelo that local distributor will not handle the case Cervelo just send me a new bearing and assumed I will take it replaced at my own cost. I did so. It turned out that the bb Cervelo sent was wrong type and old bb was put back in. I paid the service and problem is still there. I contacted Cervelo that the bearing was wrong type and they just closed the ticket and STOPPED helping me. This is my fourth (S5, P1, R3, Aspero) and last Cervelo ever.

Poor quality and over priced

Poor quality bikes that are destined to fail ! They don’t give enough details on proper maintenance of the bike for all the problems they have.
My Cervelo P3x is damaged beyond repair in less than 12 months ! it’s never been raced on !
And I’m left to foot the bill !
