Darren Cervus Point

Darren, who presented himself as a professional alarm system installer, disappeared recently. He took the system logbook with him and programmed a fitter code that prevented access by other engineers. As a result, I had to purchase a new control panel to regain full functionality of the system.
Additionally, the batteries he installed failed prematurely and subsequent inspection by a qualified engineer indicated that the batteries were likely used or old stock. Darren has not responded to calls or messages and appears to have ceased trading without notice.
His conduct demonstrates unprofessional and potentially dishonest business practices, causing unnecessary cost and inconvenience. I intend to report this matter to Trading Standards and any other relevant regulatory authorities to prevent future customers from experiencing similar issues.
