I spoke to a very helpful member of staff called Sli, who talked me through the process. She agreed to phone me back after I'd examined parts of the documents and she kept her word. I was able to take out the policy without any difficulties.

Absolute cowboys
Absolute cowboys, called to advise that the property was going to be empty for more than 30 days and they told me that I would have to cancel my existing policy and buy a new one. Said the refund would be £87.00.. I reluctantly followed their advice and several days later noticed that the old policy was still live. When I called they told me that they would raise a refund and it was not £52.00.. in addition to me trying to get through to them and them initially telling me that I wasn’t insured my experience has been a complete nightmare. God help anyone who is making a claim..

Wearisome
After having a wearisome and unsuccessful attempt at renewing my caravan insurance over the phone, I thought it would be easier to do it on-line. Several attempts later with error messages each time towards the end of the process, I gave up. The CETA operative was pleasant but did not seem 'on it' and the customer portal is difficult to navigate. I am awaiting a response from CETA so hopefully I will be able to post a more encouraging message soon.
