I had a number of low-resolution photos I wanted to print. Although they appeared clear on my phone, I was concerned they might turn out poorly, as I’ve experienced in the past. I was therefore pleasantly surprised by the excellent print quality. I’ll definitely be using CEWE for future orders. If low-resolution images can look this good, I’m excited to see how my high-resolution photos turn out!

We’re sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with our service.
I have reviewed the correspondence and can see that you contacted us because some of your photos arrived cropped. After you kindly provided example images, we confirmed that the prints were produced exactly as the images were uploaded. We explained that crop guide lines are shown during the ordering process to indicate which areas of the image may be trimmed, and these can be adjusted. As many photos taken on phones and cameras are not a standard 6×4 ratio, some cropping can occur.
We offered the option to either return the order or render it unusable and provide photo proof, after which we would issue a voucher so you could make the necessary changes and place a replacement order at no additional charge.
You asked how to ensure the same issue would not happen again, which we completely understand. We explained how you can adjust the crop when uploading images and provided screenshots to demonstrate the process. Unfortunately, you were not happy with this solution and chose not to continue the correspondence.
I apologise that our suggested solutions did not meet your expectations, and I hope we have the opportunity to provide you with a better experience in the future.

I have used before and got good results. On this order the quality was very poor, many over exposed prints and hair colours were ginger. On complaining I was told to scan all the prints to them with a description of the problem on each - over 50 prints!! I offered to post them - no response, awful customer service. Very annoyed and disappointed.

We’re sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with your order.
I can see that you contacted us explaining the issue, and our team asked for a few photos so we could better understand what was wrong. We did not ask you to scan the images, only to provide a few examples, as none were included in the original email.
When issues are reported, especially those related to colour, we do ask for photos so we can clearly see the problem and advise on the next steps. This request was sent on 23.03.2026, but we did not receive a response.
I apologise if this request was upsetting in any way. If you would still like us to look into this for you, please feel free to get back in touch and send over a couple of photos so we can assist further.
