I recently visited Sri Lanka with my family for a 9-night, 10-day vacation. We were a group of 11 people, including 5 children. I came across Ceylon Tourist on Instagram and contacted them to arrange a travel package for us.

After comparing quotations from several travel companies, Ceylon Tourist offered us the best and most reasonable package. Initially, we were a bit hesitant because we were not familiar with the company, especially since they are based in Sri Lanka. However, their pricing and flexibility gave us confidence to proceed. We paid only a 10% advance and agreed to pay the remaining amount after arriving at the Sri Lanka airport.

From the moment we landed in Sri Lanka until we returned after our 10-day trip, the service provided by Ceylon Tourist was truly exceptional. Even though the package price was budget-friendly, the hotels arranged for us exceeded our expectations. Some of the accommodations were even 4-star properties, and we were genuinely surprised by the quality they managed to provide within our budget.

They arranged a comfortable 14-seater van along with a driver and guide for the entire trip. Both were extremely friendly, supportive, and stayed with us throughout the journey, making our travel smooth and enjoyable. Special thanks to our driver, Lafeer, our guide, Farsan, and Dilshan from Ceylon Tourist, who handled our quotation and planning. These three individuals played a major role in making our family vacation memorable and stress-free.

Our Sri Lanka trip with Ceylon Tourist was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish.

The way Dilshan received us at the airport was really warm and welcoming. Before booking with Ceylon Tourist, we honestly had a few doubts, but Dilshan clarified every single question patiently and even changed the itinerary multiple times according to our requests without any hesitation. That level of patience and support gave us a lot of confidence and comfort.

A special thanks to Farsan and Lafeer for being such amazing tourist guides throughout the journey. The way they explained the places, guided us properly, and planned everything helped us cover most of the destinations smoothly without any rush, confusion, or risk. Their guidance made the trip much more enjoyable and stress-free.

They were also very caring towards the kids, always helping and making sure they were comfortable during the journey. The driving was extremely safe and careful, and even during such long travels, we always felt secure and relaxed.

Most importantly, they made sure we safely reached back home without any issues.

We recently travelled to Sri Lanka with Ceylon Tourist as a group of 3 families — 6 adults and 5 kids, including 2 children below 4 years old — and the entire experience turned out to be truly wonderful and memorable.

Initially, we did have some hesitation about planning the trip through someone we had never met before, especially with so many travel-related frauds happening these days. But Dilshan completely understood our concerns and made every effort to assure us that we were dealing with the right and genuine people. From that point onward, everything was handled professionally and smoothly.

Dilshan was extremely patient, responsive, and accommodative while planning our itinerary. Upon our request, he even adjusted the schedule to include the Trincomalee Shankari Shakthi Peeth visit and reorganized the remaining days seamlessly without affecting the trip experience. His coordination throughout the journey was exceptional and completely hassle-free.

A very special thanks to Farsan and Lafeer for being incredibly cooperative, supportive, and accommodating throughout the trip. Travelling with toddlers is never easy, but they handled all our on-demand requests with patience and care, making the journey very comfortable for both the kids and adults.

What impressed us the most was that despite being budget-friendly, there was absolutely no compromise on the quality of accommodation. Every hotel selected for us had beautiful views and offered a great experience. One of our most memorable moments was our stay in Trincomalee — waking up to the sound of ocean waves right outside our room was simply magical and the perfect way to begin the day.

This trip has created beautiful memories for all 3 families, and we are truly thankful to the entire Ceylon Tourist team. I would happily recommend Dilshan, Farsan, and Lafeer to all my friends and colleagues planning to visit Sri Lanka. And for any future Sri Lanka trip for my family, Ceylon Tourist will definitely be our first preference.

You made our entire trip peaceful and you guys are down to earth . I like the way your driver behaved and he is very calm and he is ready to show all the places and drive continuously for 100 kms also without stopping anywhere . Especially in rain I was ask him to stop but he is ready to drive and drop me on the destination .

We had a super wonderful time right from the time trip started as the trip ( 5 nights & 5 days) had to be tailored to our tight itinerary. Super services by Dilruben / Roshan and Prasanna Chamapike (our driver) for the entire trip. We visited Colombo, Kandy, Ella, Mirissa and back to Colombo, Team was very proactive, punctual and truly client oriented. Kudos to the team our trip was a memorable one! We visited Sri Lanka for a few days and wanted to do some sightseeing around the island and not just stay in Colombo. We were delighted with the services provided, as the driver was excellent (punctual, friendly, proactive and professional) whilst the car we rented was super comfortable and had no issues at all during the trip. We also appreciated the help in planning our overall trip out of Colombo, including transfers to Ella, Yala (with a safari day trip) and Mirissa.
