Rather a FLIMSY little piece which is playing a reasonably important part in the performance and protection of a highly strung engine which does a notoriously dirty type job by nature of its invention.. BUT, that is NOT the responsibility of Jono & Johnno ( the re-sellers).....It served my purpose & I was able to sell my saw with the comfort of knowing it had a NEW air filter.

You are correct, given the demanding nature of chainsaw use, a robust filter is definitely important.
We will suggest to our manufacturer about getting a better-quality filter if possible.

Easier to replace an air filter than have your saw get out of tune. A cheap insurance and products are always delivered promptly.
