Extremely disappointed

After previously proving 5*reviews with this garage I was really disappointed to have recent poor experience over 2 weeks ago and STILL waiting on a call back. After spending just over £300 on a service I came to collect my car and noticed my NSF wing was scratched on one panel - I suspect from the valet and on raising this with a senior member of staff I believe this is not the first time. I then went to start my car and the battery was flat - never skipped a beat prior to thus and had only been in the garage for 48 hours.
I have never received a vehicle health check or a formal apology for the damage or inconvenience I've experienced. We've purchased two cars from here now and returned every year for servicing on both vehicles but clearly loyal custom or a main deal experience is no longer a thing. Please be mindful if considering booking your car in here.

traded my jaguar xe in for a brand new mg hs very suprised how good it is if you want a new car go see JAMES not pushy relaxed and extremely helpful i had no intentions of buying new only for james god am i glad .FAB car really well built and a 7 yr warranty happy days would recommend this dealership

Suzuki Vitara purchase

Fazian dealt with my purchase in a very friendly, patient, and professional manner despite all my telephone calls and the extreme heat.
The whole transaction went very smoothly thanks to him and the manager Tom. I would certainly recommend Chapelhouse Blackburn to anyone.

I put a deposit down for a car

I put a deposit down for a car. Changed my mind and requested my money back. I was told it'd be refunded back to my debit card. 2 weeks later, no refund. I called them back and i was told the refund was never processed in the first place bec they needed my bank account details. It's been nearly a month and still no refund.

I have just bought the new MGZS & I've…

I have just bought the new MGZS & I've got to say its more than worth the money.
My intention was to buy a 2nd hand model, but their sales assistant Gary- quiet a happy individual - showed me the new model & it just clicked.
Not that he was pushy, but rather amiable, & let the product do the talking.
However when I needed to question something then he answered in an instant.
I found the experience very professional and customer focused, with Gary very knowledgable of the product.
I have to say that Gary himself is a credit to the company as he very quickly built a rapport with myself & my wife & allowed us time to look at the vehicles without being that constant shadow, you sometimes get.
When I went to pick up the car, he also showed me the MG annual service contract & I took advantage of this at the same time.
All in all, an easy, comfortable, and friendly experience & I would have no hesitation in recommending the company in the future.

Exceptional group of guys with the boss…

Exceptional group of guys with the boss Jonathan willing to come and speak to customers find out our needs and find the right car at the right price.
I dealt with Tom and he was brilliant and I thoroughly recommend this dealership.

I bought a Ford Fiesta here 8 months…

I bought a Ford Fiesta here 8 months ago. The purchase went through ok, but it’s taken a long time to get some things I had been promised. I eventually got a second key about 2 months later after several personal visits and phone calls. I am still waiting for a parcel shelf and a valeting which was promised, but I have basically given up on it. I also assumed I would have been given a new MOT when I bought the car, but it was already 3 months used.

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs. Sold me a used MG 3 with no service history. Missing spare key and faulty rear window.

After months of being ignored they finally repaired the window and gave me the key. However, no service history.

I went to the Motor Ombudsman who awarded me return of the vehicle. Chapelhouse did not engage at all in the process. This goes against the codes of practice which they agree to work to.

They are now ignoring any of my correspondence and I am keep getting directed to Su Mawdsley who will not respond to any emails.

I have been left no choice but to start formal legal proceedings.

Avoid at all costs!

As this matter is currently being considered through The Motor Ombudsman's Alternative Dispute Resolution process, it would not be appropriate for us to comment on the specific allegations raised.

The Motor Ombudsman confirmed to both parties on 6 June that, as an agreement could not be reached following the initial assessment, the case has now been referred to an Ombudsman for formal adjudication. We remain committed to engaging fully with this independent process and will provide all information and evidence requested to assist in reaching a fair and impartial decision.

In the meantime, it would be inappropriate for us to comment further while the adjudication is ongoing.

My wife had to leave this company as a…

My wife had to leave this company as a sales executive working in the omoda & Jaecoo brach in Blackpool, due to the service manager Lewis sexually harassing her in the work place. Saying inappropriate comments wanting to see her breasts. I also worked there as a valeter and heared him saying inappropriate things to her which I was not happy woth. When reported to HR they said they couldn't move forward with the investigation due to lack of evidence. But still had 2 witness statements from members of staff. Absolutely disgusting company and all there interested is not in the welfare of their staff but who makes them money

Very helpful and friendly.

Picked up my brand new Suzuki Vitara Ultra today.
There were some delays with delivery dates but with the help of Gary Andrews and Toni Gould who both went above and beyond in tracing my vehicle I'm now one happy person. I was getting anxious about the delivery as I had a really specific request but both Gary and Toni always eased my anxiety and I can't thank them enough. When I went to pick my vehicle up today Gary had already put petrol in the tank and all of my 'add ons' were in place. I have taken out a service package which is very reasonable so I'll be popping in to Chapelhouse Suzuki from time to time and should I be in the market for another vehicle Chapelhouse Southport will be my first stop. I have no hesitation in giving a 5 star review.
