'Curate and Creat'... a photography course with a difference! This has given me the final part of my photography jigsaw. With sooo many images, what to with them other than store them on a hard drive, never seeing the light of day.
With Charlotte's expertise, experience and teaching skills, I have a number of choices (and skills) for the use of my pictures: editing, flipbooks, real books, slides show, exhibitions ( real or virtual) to name but a few. All with the understanding of how to plan well in advance for the medium I want. This course leaves you with a tangible result of your images, phone or camera. I'd highly recommend Charlotte as a photography and trainer.

The Curate and Create class I just completed with Charlie was very useful, engaging, and fun. As I have learned from other courses with Charlie, she is a very patient, knowledgeable, and compassionate teacher. In this class, in particular, I felt she imparted such a tremendous wealth of very useful knowledge which will help me improve my skills. She is warm, and friendly and very real. She shares her past experiences in a way that lets you know she has been where you are before, yet she is an accomplished, outstanding artist. Thank you for sharing your skills, Charlie.

I have just finished 4 mentoring sessions on ICM with Charlotte. She is a fabulous teacher. I left the zoom classes keen to go out with my camera and put into practice everything we'd discussed. Charlotte is very generous and constructive with her feedback and advice and I'm looking forward to doing another course with her when I can.

I love Charlotte's tutoring. She explains things in a way that is simple and gets you onto the next steps in the learning curve. I have been able to apply Charlotte's creative processes to my own work and have been pleasantly surprised at what I've been able to achieve. I can thoroughly recommend Charlotte's workshops. I'd give her more than 5 stars if I could.

I really enjoyed the ICM course. Charlie is a great teacher and I was challenge by many ICM concepts I have never tried before. The course has given me the confidence to engage more with ICM and be more creative with my photography.

Charlotte is a wonderfully intuitive teacher and mentor. Under her guidance my confidence in personal creative practice grew over the year long project mentoring programme. The culmination of this jwas an exhibition of work that I am really proud of. I learned new things about myself that I can take with me and continue to develop. I have joined several of Charlotte’s group classes and can not praise the experiences highly enough.

Charlie was a great mentor for 2025 project course. Lots of encouragement to pursue new ideas, culminating in the online photography exhibition, which was a pleasure to take part in with my peer group members. Thank you.

During 2025 I participated in Charlotte’s year long woodland photography exploration and immersion course. The course struck a great balance between technical teaching and creative exploration.
Charlotte is a wonderful teacher, and provided constructive feedback during monthly group Zoom sessions. Her support and encouragement helped push my creative thinking, and I finished the course far more confident in my photography. I’d highly recommend it to anyone, regardless of level, looking to develop technical and creative confidence, and have fun along the way.

For me it was a wonderful webinar. It increased my creativity and was a great inspiration for me. Thank you Charlie for your input and your reaction on what we showed. I'm looking forward to the Diving Deep into ICM.

I had a wonderful time on the 2025 Tulips of Amsterdam Tour. Charlie was a great group leader sharing her expertise in photography and local knowledge to great effect. The tour was incredibly well organised giving a wide range of photo opportunities. With the planning and transport taken care of it was easy to relax and make the most of the experience. The small group size worked well, and Charlie was able to identify what made us 'tick' as individual photographers and lean into this with her advice and suggestions.
On our return we were offered the chance to join a group follow up via zoom to review some of our images and get feedback. This was very instructive and it was lovely to see everyone and the work that they produced (amazingly varied given we were in the same places!).
In summary, I would not hesitate to recommend Charlie for the Tulips of Amsterdam tour!

Charlie is a brilliant tutor. I had a great time on her tulip tour in April. It was a good mix of subjects and a great group. Excellent planning of all the destinations to ensure we saw tulips, windmills and a lot more. Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Charlie’s tours.

We had a wonderful time on Charlie’s tulips/Amsterdam photo tour! The brochure she created was excellent, so we knew exactly what the tour we were booking included, together with photos of the places, and all the hotel details. Everything was so well organised by Charlie! She drove us to the locations in a minibus, and made sure we experienced a wide range of locations with excellent creative photo opportunities, avoiding busy areas. Charlie was always forthcoming, helpful and patient in providing photo tuition, especially with ICM techniques. It was a lovely small group, which was ideal, so also very social and friendly. Charlie not only provided an excellent tour with tuition, but also looked after us as people and made sure everything ran smoothly. I would not hesitate to fully recommend Charlie’s tours!

Charli was a great guide - taking us out to the tulip fields and windmills and giving us instruction on the best ways to shoot the flower fields. She is delightful and very easy to talk with and we had a wonderful time with her for two days. I would not hesitate to book her again for a retreat or just private instruction. My friends and I enjoyed our time with her very much.

Spent a year on creating a cohesive project which has changed my interaction with photography. Charlie was instrumental in supporting me find my own direction. Now participating in the Woodlands course whichI'm thoroughly enjoying

Charlie is a wonderful teacher. She broke down the process into little steps that made the ICM journey so fun and useful. She paid close attention to each of us always looking at the back of our cameras and giving us encouragement and tips. I am going to take more workshops with her.

While YouTube videos can teach you about Intentional Camera Movement (ICM), they have limits. Watching many of Charley’s videos gave me valuable insights, but nothing compares to engaging directly with her and her group. The participants aren’t just observers—they’re active creators with diverse styles and ideas, which enriches everyone’s perspective and deepens our understanding of ICM.

This was my second program with Charlotte. Her teaching style is very effective. She has well planned segments, provides excellent detail on how to approach each subject, then provides honest feedback oh each one's submissions, often pointing subtle things that the student might not have been aware of. Know that was the case with me, not negative, but her eye catches every little detail, and she offers recommendations on how to utilize them going forward.
Not afraid to take you out of your comfort zone, but always leading you forward. Know that I will be signing up for additional courses with Charlotte.

Spending 12 months with a group of creative people was a great experience, learning from each other with teaching and guidance from Charlotte. Charlotte provided constructive feedback to our work throughout the year, encouraging us to experiment and to keep moving forward when at times, ideas did not flow. I enjoyed the course and all the teachings that she shared.
