bots send fake streams to random artists on Spotify.

A scam is happening where bots send fake streams to random artists on Spotify. After that, Spotify bans or penalizes those artists. This is not okay.

Is there any way to take legal action against those responsible? If so, I’m willing to do it — because we ended up having to pay Spotify because of this scam.

We never used any kind of promotion services for Spotify. These scammers randomly sent fake streams to five of our old songs just to promote their own service.

We reported this to our distributor and to Spotify, but we didn’t receive any help.

These same three websites have done this over and over again.

I forgot to mention this earlier — there are three websites involved. They all have the same interface and the same scam. It looks like one company or person is running all three of them. I’ll list the websites here. They generate fake streams to our songs using a playlist, and then they delete the playlist afterward — possibly to hide evidence or avoid detection.

We contacted all three websites, but the email addresses listed on them are not working. Kindly report this scam site to the appropriate authorities.

STOP THIS SCAMMER – REPORT HIM EVERYWHERE!

This scammer is a plague on Spotify and Instagram, and they need to be shut down immediately! Here’s how their scam works: they create fake bot playlists under anonymous names and sneak your songs onto them without your permission. These playlists are bloated with tens of thousands of random tracks from different genres. Then, they generate fake streams for your songs to trick you into believing their illegal and unethical service is legitimate and will help you succeed.

It’s all a LIE. Everything about them is fake! These fraudulent streams can ruin your artist account and tarnish your reputation beyond repair. Once they feel their scam playlist is ‘safe,’ they rebrand it under their original business name, trying to look legitimate.

But it doesn’t stop there! This scammer is shameless and relentless. Even after Spotify deletes their playlists, they just create new ones and start the cycle again. They prey on innocent artists, exploiting their hard work and dreams just to make a quick buck.

DO NOT let this scammer get away with it. The moment you see your songs on their fake playlist, report it to Spotify immediately. It takes less than five minutes to report, and with enough reports, this fraud can be banned for good. And if they come back with another playlist? Report them again. Keep reporting until they’re permanently removed!

And don’t forget about their Instagram account, which is just as fraudulent. Their Instagram is full of bot followers, fake engagement, and fake comments or reviews meant to lure in unsuspecting victims. Go to their Instagram profile, report it for fraud or spam, and encourage others to do the same. If enough people report them, Instagram will delete their account. Let’s make sure they can’t use Instagram to spread their scams either!

This scammer is dangerous to the entire artist community. Don’t let them fool you. Don’t let them profit from your hard work. Stand up for yourself, report their accounts, and expose them for the fraud they are!

Scam Spotify playlist Bot company, do not give them money!

I really didn't want to give them even 1 star for this, as they are a scam company. If you are an artist new to Spotify and desperate for listeners, they will get you listeners but only fake ones, which will leave you at risk from being pulled by Spotify altogether. Also they add artists to their playlists putting them at risk of being pulled too. Really poor.

Scam, Fraud, Vandalize Your Project, Stain On Humanity

Adding a follow up review. Chartmob put our song on their playlist without our consent. We emailed and DM'd a few times asking for them to remove our song. The only response was a canned menu of services and pricing. The playlist was taken down by Spotify and now our song was taken down. These people are the worst. They totally vandalized our project. They should be completely removed from the internet. Please NEVER give them any money and never allow anybody you know to give them any money. Total scammers and fraudsters. For artists this is the equivalent of the criminals who swindle elderly people out of their retirement savings or file fake wire requests to drain people's bank accounts. Horrible scum.

Shady business model that infringes on artists' rights

Chartmob's business model is to add your song to a fake, bot playlist, without your request. They'll then attempt to get you to sign up off a (false) boost in streams.

Their playlists actively hurt your artist account in Spotify's algorithm, and put your music in danger of being removed from Spotify.

What's worse, they don't respond to support inquiries, and they'll add your music EVERY. DAY, forcing you jump through hoops to report them and get your music removed.

It´s the biggest scam

It´s the biggest scam. I was really unexperienced and first thought, something went viral overnight. Than I saw they added my Song to their playlist, and I even fell for their scam. They´re keep botting my stream numbers everyday now. I told them to stop this BS but they ignore my emails. I don´t know I Spotify comes up with any consequence against the artists. I hope not, this is not the artists fault. GET THESE F...ING SCAMMERS!

Dangerous bot activity

This one is even more dangerous that your typical bot promotion. They add independent artists' tracks onto their playlists without permission, artificially inflate their stream numbers, then wipe the playlists clean and delete them off Spotify. Stay away.
