Spoke to a chap named Dennis today at 22:55, talk about burning the midnight oil, absolute legend of the game. Was struggling to access a feature in the app. Popped a message on the 24/7 chat line and expected a message tomorrow now a couple minutes later!!
Dude helped me out in a couple minutes and cleared my silly mistake there.
Massive thanks for the help there Dennis! Keep it real!

Great interest rate for first year. Easy to use account.

I did use this as my main account, I was scammed on holiday to the tune of 590 ISH. Apparently the scammers had the ability to approve it so they weren't interested. Account binned. Beware

I like Chase for current and savings accounts.

Chase was the only bank card on my Paypal account that recognised fraudulent activity and declined the payments, and then alerted me. Well done Chase! Wish the other banks did the same. I have since deleted my Paypal account.

Chase has a very good app which makes it easy to manage your account at anytime. The current account gives you good cashback on certain business categories like groceries. They also have good saving accounts that can be managed by the app. It is also easy to setup Direct Debits and Standing Orders via the app.

Excellent interest rates and easy banking options

My husband purchased a Google Pixel 11 Pro XL for me as a gift. He had already purchased the same model and was satisfied with it. The phone was bought using his Chase credit card from the Google US Store because it offered a phone-and-watch promotion that represented better value than purchasing in the UK, and he wanted the watch that came with it.
As I was travelling to the United States for business, we arranged for the phone to be delivered to a US business address for collection upon my arrival. After collecting the device and spending several days transferring data as I was busy with work, I discovered that the phone was eSIM-only and therefore incompatible with my existing SIM card.
I immediately contacted Google Store Support in the US. After a lengthy discussion, I was assured that a replacement model with a physical SIM card slot would be arranged once I returned to the UK. I was also informed that my trade-in would be placed on hold until the matter was resolved and I would be able to return the trade-in device from the UK.
Upon my return to the UK, I contacted Google support on three separate occasions regarding the promised replacement. Despite repeated assurances that a replacement link to conclude the delivery of the phone would be sent by email, no such link was ever received. To make matters worse, I was then informed that it would not be possible to send the trade-in device from the UK.
After months of frustration and contradictory information from Google, my husband raised a dispute with Chase and provided extensive evidence, including chat transcripts with Google. By this stage, Google had also charged his card again because the trade-in device had not been received, despite their earlier assurances regarding the replacement phone, and the fact that sending it from the UK had proven impossible.
Unfortunately, dealing with Chase UK proved equally frustrating. The dispute process is opaque and only accessible via the app. Despite stating a response would be received in 7 to 10 working days after submission, he had to chase them repeatedly for an update after the timeframe had passed without one. Customers cannot communicate directly with the disputes team, who are described as a "back-office" function and therefore inaccessible. Customer service representatives appeared to have little knowledge of the dispute itself and could provide only vague updates, intentionally shying away from specific timeframes regarding dispute handling. Communication is restricted to the mobile app, where messages from customer service, disputes, and complaints teams are merged together, making it difficult to track progress or obtain clear answers.
The most disappointing aspect was Chase's final response. They rejected the dispute on the basis that the debtor-creditor-supplier chain had been broken because the phone was not purchased for the cardholder's own use. This reasoning strongly suggests that the evidence submitted was not properly reviewed, as it ignored the circumstances surrounding the transaction and the issues with Google's failure to provide the agreed remedy.
The matter is now being referred to the Financial Ombudsman Service for an independent review.
Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Chase UK for purchases where Section 75 protection may be required. Consumers should carefully consider the limitations of their claims process before relying on it, especially as they have joint liability with the merchant, which makes Chase UK unwilling to issue refunds. The handling of this dispute has been disappointing from start to finish.

Mostly good experience. A couple of times when I was slightly embarrassed due to attempted payments being declined despite adequate funds. However I feel at Chase they are security conscious which is good.
Interest rate on easy access deposit is mediocre and although a better rate can be had it is only on a limited scale. Some institutions are giving a better deal and I therefore move surplus funds elsewhere.

Great products, interest rates and excellent customer service.
Definitely recommend.

Chase treat existing saving customers very poorly with significantly lower rates compared to new customers. For this reason I use the cash-back options only and save elsewhere.

Good app and able to set up lots of different pot accounts . Link to iSA through nutmeg which requires another app but works well.
No joint account option
No overdraft function so card doesn’t work if you go over a little.
Introductory rates run out leaving poor rates so you have to move your money.
Just can’t be used as main account for me . Just good for small savings pots - cash back etc is a bit meh as it’s restricted to certain types of purchases as at first but was all purchases which is why opened it but now it’s pretty much dormant . In fairness no bank gets everything right but no joint account is the main sticking point for me

Two outstanding complaints:
1. Fraud complaint reference: 12329656
2. Poor customer service (wrong advice given), reference: 12359740
My Chase card had fraudulent activity. There were around x15 transactions carried in a matter of 2/3 minutes!!! All of them were refunded apart from x2 (informed by text message that no refund given). This was so obvious it was fraud. Anyway, I had to raise an appeal which was time-consuming and a complaint and eventually it was refunded.
I also raised a complaint about the poor advice I was given. I wanted to download my recent credit card transactions to check what was fraudulent and what was ok. I was advised by x4 separate advisors that this was possible. Again I wasted an incredible amount of time doing this to then discover you can't do it!!!
A complaint handler (called Aki) looked into my complaints and only considered the fraudulent one and ignored the poor service complaint. This handler claimed he called me. He/she didn't and lied. To be fair when I picked this up a few days the advisor I spoke to said that there was problems for Chase staff making external calls.
I've chased this up some many times and now have literally over a 100 messages and no manager has had the decency to call me back.
Do not ask me to call or chat to your customer services. I am done and am in the process of cancelling my credit card. I may also cancel my savings accounts as well as I have lost all confidence in Chase.

Love the cash back offer. The app is easy to use. Particularly like the no charges policy when using my debit card abroad

While the interest rates on saving are very good in the first year the Refer a friend scheme to generate an extra £50 is VERY unclear. I paid in over the £1000 which is supposed to generate Reward codes to share with my friends and family but it doesn’t. I was referred by a friend as soon as I paid in £1000 she got her £50 , I got mine but no sign of my 5 refer a friend codes to share and I have two siblings waiting to open Chase accounts when the reward codes come in. At nearly a month they are going to put their money elsewhere as I already referred them to another bank which offers a £30 reward almost immediately! So much easier than the Chase one.
