Amazon Visa Application

Applied for an Amazon Visa through Chase, didn't realize they would mix mine and my fiancee's info on the application since she was logged in. Denied me due to fraud despite calling and offering to verify any information needed. 780+ credit score and now I have a hard inquiry because their automated system, and phone support are absolute garbage. Will be filing a dispute with credit bureaus and the Consumer protection bureau. Absolutely unacceptable.

Long story short do not commit the crime of applying for this card while another user is logged into Amazon. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Holding checks and changing the deposit availability date.

This is now the third time I have deposited a valid check into my Chase account and experienced the same issue.
The deposit receipt initially shows that the funds will be available within two days, but after the deposit is made, the availability date is changed to 7–8 days later without any clear explanation. This is extremely frustrating and unacceptable.
As a business owner, this directly affects my operations. I have even confirmed with my customers that the funds are being withdrawn from their accounts, yet Chase is still holding the money and not making it available to me in a timely manner.
This situation has caused serious inconvenience and disruption to my business. It creates cash flow problems and puts me in a difficult position with my clients. Each time this has happened, I have suffered financial losses and damages because of these unnecessary delays.
Overall, my experience has been very disappointing. Chase has not provided the level of customer care, transparency, or reliability that I expect from a major bank. I feel that customers are not being treated with fairness or respect in situations like this.
I am requesting a clear explanation for these repeated delays and a resolution to prevent this from happening again.

Utter garbage

Utter garbage company. Frequently denies transactions for little reason, adjusts credit limits with zero notice, and provides exceptionally poor customer service on top of it. Paying off all my Chase cards, moving my checking account elsewher,e and washing my hands of this crappy company for good. Chase is getting as bad as Discover Financial Services, and that's really saying something. One wonders if they see a recession coming and are taking proactive measures by screweding their customers?

I have banked with Chase Bank for years…

I have banked with Chase Bank for years and and I have never had anything but good customer service and a dependable experience. I have had some fraud in my checking account and Chase was on it and solved my issues. I was getting out of my car and it was raining. A customer service came to my car with an umbrella to greet me. I don't have any negative feelings with Chase.

ChaseBank was childish to me

I’ve barely started using Chase and already they’ve been piss poor to me. I’m disgusted by the fact that one of their locations changed my bank account plan to their teen plan knowing that I’m above 24 yrs old that plan ranges from 16-24 yrs old. I’m 25 going on 26 in July.. literally just because I wouldn’t get a Chase Sapphire card blindly. It was also to take away my $1,200 credit line I got approved for as of the overdraft limit for the correct plan I was on prior before one of their Brighton,Ma location’s played with my account. They know the standard adult account doesn’t take interest as long as the account has a bit of money. This isn’t even an account I use for direct deposit, just small things then would pay the overdraft if I went over. Which I did so what the Hell is their problem? This made me really not trust them. I would hate to imagine what they would’ve done if I actually applied for their Sapphire card and paid them on time, every time..

BEWARE OF CHASE!!!!!!!

I have never experienced such a horrible situation in my life. I banked with Chase for many years. I had 2 checking accounts 1 savings and direct deposits. All my accounts were in great standings. On Friday I had my son to open up his own savings and checking acct. On Monday I made a rather larger deposit into one of my checking accounts. On Tuesday received a text to call the number on the back of my debit card because all 3 of my accounts had been closed. No reason no explanation nothing. Then they tried not to release my money, of course that was not gonna happen. I will never ever bank with them or have anything to do with them again. That whole thing is suspicious ill definitely be keeping an eye on my credit reporting and reading all mail closely because something just isn't right. What financial institution kicks out good customers. BEWARE OF CHASE. I never knew they had so many bad reviews.

they did not contact me to ask for ID…

They were not able to contact me to ask for ID information for a business credit card application b/c they sent it by mail but I never received it. But I always get my statements and ads from them, just not this special piece of mail. No notification via e-mail or phone. that they needed to verify my identity. As a result of not being able to finish verifying my ID, they declined it, which put my credit rating through the floor. Worst banking experience I've ever had.

The Chase Sapphire Preferred card has…

The Chase Sapphire Preferred card has an elegant look, but the readability of the card numbers is a concern. The dark color scheme makes the numbers difficult to distinguish, which can be inconvenient when the information needs to be entered manually. Enhancing the visibility of the numbers would significantly improve the overall user experience without compromising the card’s premium appearance.

I am giving Chase the lowest rating possible

I am giving Chase a one star review because there are no lower ratings. There system for photo deposits of checks does not work. Physical deposits of checks at a branch are not credited to my account for 5-7 days. Their ATM machines do not accept my teller card from another bank.

Most recently , I have tried to use Zelle to send funds to my daughter. She has been a registered Zelle user since 2020. The transfers are cancelled and my online access to my account is frozen, because the transactions are flagged as possible fraud. I have spent hours on the phone trying to resolve this issue . Every representative at the fraud department provides different and conflicting information . Two representatives hung up on our call. One supervisor was honest and admitted that Zelle transactions are reviewed by an automated system, using rules created by Chase , not Zelle . There is no way for the humans in the system to override the automated system. The automated system has both approved and many times rejected the same $500 transfer to my daughter. On another occasion my Zelle account was closed , without notice, because I only use Zelle to send money out but not did not receive money into my account via Zelle

DO NOT CHOOSE CHASE FOR BANKING SERVICES UNLESS YOU WANT TO RECEIVE POOR , INCONSISTENT SERVICE AND WANT TO SPEND HOURS ON THE PHONE TO PROCESS SIMPLE TRANSACTIONS .

Every Mortgage applicant should be…

Every Mortgage applicant should be careful NOT to agree to the “good faith “ $ 650 deposit that Chase Bank requires prior to such institution proceeding with the process of such application. The individuals that Chase Bank assigns to your Mortgage application will not disclose that such “good faith $ 650 deposit “ is NOT REFUNDABLE if you withdraw your application. Furthermore, if you are refinancing and currently have an escrow account on your present Mortgage contract that pays for your Property taxes and/or your Home Owner’s Insurance, Chase Bank may or may not check off the corresponding boxes on your application. That is, they appear to be hoping that you do not notice this “sneaky trick” by this shady “outfit “. Last but not least, Chase Bank will continue to ask for documentation and or clarification that you have already provided.

The bank that likes to CHASE and harass you!!!

I previously wrote a review to highlight the fact you cannot set up a direct debit payment to settle your credit card.

Now I write to highlight Chase are incapable of applying the due payment to your credit card account. I paid in the money 3 weeks ago, provided screenshots from my bank account, confirmed both accounts details (destination and source accounts), provided the 37 digit faster payment ID and still they are unable to trace the payment. However here’s the curious bit, on the advice of my bank I sent an additional ‘test’ payment through using the same bank account and payee details for just £1, and it arrived safely!

Chase have inundated me with both condescending and demeaning messages, demands for minimum payment, applied late payment charges and more recently suspended the account.
If anyone from Chase reads this-please chase up and sort it out please!

Anyone else reading this, save yourself the stress and avoid the bank that likes to CHASE and harass you!!!!!

Log in Issues

Every month its the same problem logging in to make a payment. For the first 3 days of trying to log in the system just idles and does absolutely nothing. Miraculously on the day that the payment is due, Chase System allows you to log in. At this point, I will be requesting that a paper bill be mailed to me. This is so ridiculous and beyond annoying.

Bad business

Unfortunately, my husband opened an account with Chase. I set up a reoccurring payment for our car. But Chase did not pay them and decided to move the payment to the next month on the first when we would not be paid yet. Don’t bank with Chase if you read this don’t bank with Chase. Not only that they outsource their customer service and I get three different answers for the same problem

I Wish Someone at Chase Would Truly Listen — It Felt Like I Was Being Pushed Toward Bankruptcy

I am writing this review to share my experience and hopefully be heard.

I have been a long-time customer, and recently I went through a very difficult and confusing process with my accounts. A series of actions and restrictions significantly impacted my ability to operate my business and manage my cash flow. As a result, I faced serious financial pressure.

What made this experience even more challenging was the lack of clear communication and the inability to speak with someone who could fully review and understand my situation. I made multiple attempts to explain what was happening, but I never felt that my case was carefully evaluated.

At times, it felt like the system was working against me rather than supporting a long-term customer. I am still doing my best to recover and continue my business.

I believe situations like mine deserve more attention, transparency, and human review. I sincerely hope that Chase improves how complex cases are handled and ensures customers have a fair opportunity to be heard.
