There was a lack of clear communication, and the information given about the shipping date was misleading

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with Chassis Unlimited, especially as a returning customer. This company deserves 0 stars, but 1 is the lowest I could give.

I ordered a custom rear bumper on December 31, 2025. The salesman, Fidel, told me their normal lead time was 6–8 weeks, but assured me he could get mine done in about 3–4 weeks if I ordered right away. He even offered a 25% discount, saying they normally don’t do that. Based on that, I placed the order.

Because I work out of town for extended periods, I made it clear that timing and communication were important. Fidel told me they could coordinate the build around my schedule and aim for completion by the end of January. After that, I heard nothing.

I reached out on February 27, 2026 and was then told the new completion date would be March 13. At that point, I expressed my frustration about being misled just to make the sale, no response.

On March 2, I requested a full refund and said I would dispute the charge if necessary. Only then did I get a reply with an apology. A few days later, I was promised the bumper would definitely ship March 13, along with a “swag pack” and touch-up kit.

March 13 came and went, no update, no shipment, no communication. By March 16, I had to initiate a credit card dispute. Again, no response.

Then on March 24, someone else (Nick) called and left a voicemail asking if I still wanted the bumper and said it would be ready in about a week. At that point, after multiple missed deadlines and zero communication, it was too late.

What’s most frustrating is that I’ve purchased from them before and wanted a matching rear bumper. Instead, I dealt with constant delays, broken promises, and poor communication. As a result, I will not have a matching rear bumper to my front and will need to seek an alternative.

The product might be good, but the customer service and reliability are not. I would not recommend doing business with them unless you’re prepared for long delays and little to no communication.
