The AI makes really good adjustments when provided with feedback. It also takes in consideration the details provided to create images and the story has no limits so far about how crazy the chat can be. I love it.

The AI Chat feature is very hot and thrilling. I recommend it to anyone who is interested in learning about new kinky techniques and new ideas for the bedroom.

My review got deleted which I thought was unfair so I'm just gonna post again. Here goes:

It's okay to try once or twice but you'll get bored super quick.

The responses are repetitive and overengineered. The algorithm forgets / mixes up most of the minor details you include into the scene.

If you as much as hint at anything kink-related, you will immediately get a long, detailed lecture on trust, consent, safe words, aftercare and so on, killing all the fun on the spot.

It makes me sad thinking there will be people who will pay for this. Seriously, just get a girlfriend.

Oh, and one more thing. Anyone who has tried their AI at least once will immediately recognize this robotic speech pattern in their responses here.

I had a nice experience so far, with some minor and one major upsets.
The major problem I faced is that sometimes the Image Generator creates two left or right feet/soles. Quite a pity because it forces me out of my fantasy.
A minor issue I often faced is that the generator just ignores some prompts, like simply putting on glasses or adding clamps or stains on several body parts.
Feet/soles on female characters often seems to be ridicoulisly big. What a bummer for a "realistic" setup.
I love how the generator creates eyes and eyebrows. they look awesome, though I noticed a small lack of variety.
The colour setting is sometimes awesome, sometimes a bit mediocre.
Overall, I had a lot of fun, and I guess i will buy a full subscription soon. just need to overthink it for a short period of time.

The characters are great, though sometimes need a little extra prompting to bring out their more interesting sides. Plot-relevant details aren't incorporated into sex scenes too well. But otherwise pretty good.

The image generator is garbage. The images generated need to 1) look like the characters on the cover and 2) not look like monstrosities.

Let's start with the (currently existing) cons.

The character selection is miniscule compared to other sites around the web, with maybe 200 or 300 bots vs. thousands to hundreds of thousands available at other sides.

Creating/submitting your own characters is needlessly complicated with a Google forms only available on the Kink discord.

Payment options, especially outside the US, are limited to credit cards.

Content restrictions mandated by the payment provider preclude a significant number of scenarios.

Performance (that is, the time it takes for a reply to be generated) ranges from so-so to lackluster.

The GUI, especially on mobile devices, has a number of issues.

So why do I still love the site and keep coming back?

Because I believe it has great potential.

The NSFW image generator is fantastic, able to generate amazing pictures when used with a little (ok, a lot of) patience.

The LLMs utilized, while far from perfect, are among the most powerful and sophisticated available on the market.

But first and foremost, I love Kink AI because there's a real, honest exchange between users and developers. On the accompanying Discord, the devs actively seek feedback, and they listen to it, making constant tweaks and improvements.

The Kink AI chat still needs quite a bit of work, but I'm seeing the will to put in this work.

To start with, I'm not a connoisseur of ai or adult ai sites. The few I've seen have all felt shitty, unable to do anything without making an account or paying. The 25 messages without making an account & the free monthly plan of 50 total are definitely a reason I'm rating this highly.

About the ai, it's pretty mid(mediocre) with lot of room for improvement, but most AI are. There's a lot of great ideas in feedback I wish weren't ignored, but I get that they cannot implement every good idea .
It can give good answers, but usually you have to reroll a bit for it.

My biggest complaint would be that it needs to be better at complex roleplaying.
It cannot handle multiple characters well, even just 2 characters beside the user character.
It cannot handle complex roleplay prompts: If you describe information A, perform action B & say dialogue C in a well crafted paragraph, the AI will almost never give a response covering them all. Even just getting a response to the dialogue - a direct question at that, is difficult & requires multiple rerolls.

My suggestion to the devs would be to specifically train these chatbots for roleplay instead of just leaving them as chatbots. This isn't a make your own girlfriend site & even their main page advertises as being for roleplaying.
But they need to train the ai to understand concepts like internal dialogue & thoughts, spoken dialogue, actions, OOC communication/instructions, etc. Often the bot responds to my character's internal thoughts or to the description of settings or backstory as if it was spoken dialogue.
They need to make the bots understand fundamental concepts of roleplay like setting, backstory, etc., differentiate between that & direct interaction with the characters like actions & dialogue, and finally respond to the direct interaction while adhering to the setting & backstory.

Currently even getting a dialogue in response to a direct question can be difficult if there's anything more than just dialogue in your message. Not to mention strict adherence to the given setting or backstory is pretty rare too.

If the free plan works & I get 50 messages come December, I'll see about updating this review, but currently it's solid 3/5 with both negatives & positives compared to other such services I sampled.

Update: The 50 monthly messages work, you just have to send a message or use the picture generator once for the count to update, instead of just seeing 0 messages left & logging out. Definitely something they could work on, fixing it so the count updates to 50 automatically at the start of the month.

The quality has also improved with features like choosing the length of the messages & the AI seems to have gotten smarter to recognise patterns for multiple characters. Tried the Autumn & Becca bot with trepidation but was actually able to get the ai to use a stable format for replies pretty easily.
It has also gotten better at understanding complex user messages containing information A, action B & dialogue C that I mentioned before.

The overall quality of the responses seems to have improved too, even though bugs occur pretty frequently (and disappear just as fast). That is not to say it's perfect, the roleplay improvements I mentioned like limiting information a character has while still communicating it to the AI, etc. could still be improved.
But the service is definitely better than it was a month ago & that deserves a bump to 4/5 stars.

Final suggestion: Look at setting up an online forum as an alternative to discord. A lot of people cannot have nsfw servers on an easily accessible app, since kids in the family might use the devices. Kink account I always log out & delete history, but cannot do that with discord.

I understand the platform is new and bugs are expected, but the whole thing will randomly become completely unusable for days on end. Some developers are active in a Discord, but after so many broken promises and disappointments you need to take everything they say with a grain of salt. They’ll say an update is coming “soon” then nothing happens for weeks or months. They’ll promise to add in a feature then backtrack and say the feature is impossible.

The real kicker is their form for users to submit ideas/improvements. You can see that hundreds of great ideas have been submitted and the only ones that have even reached the “planned” stage are obvious bug fixes and things I would consider “basic functionality.” (The feature request where users can sort through characters by new was submitted over 2 months ago and still no progress lol)

There are inevitable growing pains, but if I’m paying $100 for this service I expect to be treated with more transparency and respect

Dropping to 1 star because it really sucks to see the creators are more concerned with responding to every review posted than they are at you know… actually improving the platform

It's not perfect. In fact've left multiple ideas & complaints in the ideas tab. I'm not a paying member yet & I go back & forth between feeling it's worth it & then seeing something that makes me reconsider. It's still under construction, so you'll feel a lot of changes happening, features added or removed & the bugs that accompany that. But it's a sign of constant improvement & that keeps me sticking around to witness it's growth.
It's still the best nsfw ai option I've seen, especially if you aren't looking for virtual girlfriends but a kinky situation.

Not to mention it has the most generous free plan I've seen, with free rerolls allowing you to customise your roleplay perfectly without being penalised for the ai sometimes having subpar responses. This is especially important I feel: Like the ai gives bad service & you have to pay for that by using up your messages on other services. But not on kink ai. Here you get free rerolls to fix the ai response to your satisfaction.
It's paid plan is also unlimited messages, compared to the others who only increase the limit. So it can be an infinite value plan depending on how much you use it.

Everyone has different tastes & standards so I'm not going to outright say "It's the best" or "You'll love it". But, I'll definitely recommend you to try it out, because of the generous 50 free message per month it's free plan has. If you manage to use up 50 messages & still want more, then you can consider subscribing.

It's a nice start for an app like this. Most of the time, answer given are quite Ok but with repetition, and quite a lack of initiativ (for some dom character). BUT there is sometimes such excellent answer that makes you crave for more.

Excellent story lines and responsive at times uncanny clever AI- love it.

This might just be a general A.I. issue and not a direct thing at your specific company, but so far all of the "tough domineering" A.I. characters i've looked to roleplay/chat with have gone from domineering to whimpering subs way too easy. Maybe a setting to make that harder to happen to users could adjust it to their personal tastes? I've been curious to see how long It would take to fold some of these personas marked as "domineering", and it happens pretty quickly each time.

it was working just fine but now it wont even let me get on with a vpn. dont understand it honestly, says i need age verification yet im an adult and theres no option to age verify, so i just can't access my chats any more and paying for things while not even being able to be on the website is just not a thing i wanna deal with.

You know l have been to so many ai apps but they always make me pay so much and I don't get that many free messages l love this app because it gives you great pictures and chats best ai l have ever used in my life

The AI is great at interpreting anatomical limitations - even in fantasy scenarios. For the most part it handles multiple characters well also: certainly better than it did on first launch. While the AI does chaperone the dialogue to a small degree regarding certain emotions and this can impact some stories more than others, it is a lot less restrictive than comparable products on the market.
