I wouldn't give 1 star but it was required - SCAM - total bait and switch - do NOT use this company. Within minutes of booking a flight I get a call about the economy seat no longer available and it... See more

Bait and switch operation
Bait and switch operation. Created this online through website where it was confirmed and emailed as such. No further communications, and no charge to card. Finally called them 2 days later at the number given. "There was a cancellation with the airline" was the excuse given. 40 dollars per traveler more, this is now a one way round trip. Noticed the credit card charges (see below). Agent was very snotty and rude and not at all listening. Then, it claimed the specific agent that makes the deal has to change, negotiate or otherwise cancel. This is quite outrageous, these people are very discourteous and demeaning, it can also be heard (in the ample background noise). Agent claimed the original person would call back in a few hours - nothing. Couldn't cancel, nobody called back. They only went on the airline's website, made the order, then charge the card nearly the same amount in "Airline Charges". Needless to say, i'm disputing the extraneous charge.
Do not use this website
They will use your credit card to purchase other items.
Don’t use this website total scam
Don’t use this website total scam. I booked and they said they were h going to send me a confirmation code in 10 min never did. When I called they kept sending me a new representative and then said they can’t cancel.
Absolute Scam
Absolute Scam....... Everything all these other reviews are saying is true. Avoid at all costs
I booked a flight for my son at $387
I booked a flight for my son at $387. Suddendly that flight is not available and the cost is now $830. What a rip off. Do not use them ever
SCAM
SCAM! It's a bait and switch operation. They lure you in with cheap prices. Then once you "book" with your financial information, they contact you with a confirmation of only half of the itinerary. The other half isn't available any longer at that price and offer you the same flight, same time, same day ticket at a much higher price. They will not refund your money even though their policy says full refund with cancellation if made within 24 hrs. DO NOT BOOK WITH cheapdealsfare.com
Avoid at all cost
Avoid at all cost. Definitely a scam.
I bought ticket off their website for $789 then they called me and said the fare change and I have to pay $690 extra or lose what I already paid. Customer service is all based on India and are scamming Americans. I lost my money and currently disputing the charge.
Absolutely a scam
Absolutely a scam. They sucker you in with initial low prices that are not honored. They tell you it's not their fault because the airlines raised the booking price after booking and tried to charge me $296.00 more than the fare they confirmed. When I rejected the increased price, they informed me that I was still going to be charged over $100 to cancel a fare they couldn't deliver.
Just go through Priceline or the actual…
Just go through Priceline or the actual airline to purchase your flight. This site is a scam. Threatened to still charge my card after I requested cancellation so I did what I had to and canceled my debit card!!! I win :)
Beware!: CheapFlights.com
I tried to book through CheapFlights.com and ended up with an acceptable rate with an entity called CheapDealsFare. I was contacted by a representative about 1.5 hrs after my purchase, with them saying that my returning option flight could not be honored by the airline. They offered me other, more expensive options, which I declined. The rep insisted they were trying to help, but I said none of these worked me. Then he stated to me that these were non-cancelable tickets but as a "gesture", they could cancel the purchase with only an $85 cancellation fee. At this point, we all know that this is a SCAM company. I refused and said I will receive a full refund since the product I purchased cannot be provided to me. Once I was at the point of colorful words, the rep informed me that there would be "another" $250 cancellation fee added to my charge. I challenged him to do that, used more colorful words, said I would dispute the charge, and that I would make it my mission to let everyone know that anything close to CheapDealsFare is a FOREIGN RUN SCAM. If CheapFlights.com is not a SCAM, then they should be vetting the companies that offering products via their website.
Buyer beware be very aware
Buyer beware be very aware! My wife and I booked a flight with Cheapdealsfare.com, to Fort Meyers Fla. in order to attend a funeral. The cost we paid for the tickets was $511.24 for the two of us. However, about 2 hours after booking our flight, we received a call from a Mr. Liam Wandson, an agent from cheapdeals. He informed us that due “to a computer glitz” cheapdeals was experiencing, the flight we booked was now overbooked.
As I mentioned we were going to Fort Meyers for a funeral that I was to conduct. Consequently, we had to get there and it already was the 11th hour! Mr. Wandson said he could arrange new flights, but the cost was now going to be $863 rather than the previously promised fare of $511 which is a $352 increase! Some might call this the classic “bait and switch maneuver.”
However, in exchange for allowing cheapdeals to rebook us on another flight Mr. Wandson promised the following:
• Our seats for our new flight reservation would be selected in advance by cheapdeals and we would also be able to check one bag free of charge.
• We were also told that within one month we would receive a $500 voucher for a future flight, as compensation for the immense inconvenience and additional cost for the tickets, that cheapdeals had caused.
Needless to say, none of these promises were kept. When we arrived at the airport, Spirit Airlines had no record of a flight reservation ever having been made in our names! Therefore, we obviously couldn’t get our boarding passes and of course this also meant that no prior seat selections had ever been made either.
If it weren’t for a very compassionate Spirit Airlines employee we would not have been able to get a flight out to Fort Meyers! Upon booking we had to pay $79 for our bag, which according to cheapdeals should have been free! And of course, our rebooked reservations cost us an additional $352. On top of that we were charged $170 additional dollars for their "services rendered" for changing our flight! Subsequently an agent said this fee would be refunded. But that has yet to appear on our credit card statement.
Efforts to resolve issue has been futile to say the least! To date I have placed a total of 14 calls to cheapdeals and initially I was told Mr. Wandson was unavailable. But after a number of subsequent calls, I was told by “Kevin” that Mr. Wandson no longer worked for the company. However, “Kevin” said that I could expect to receive a call from one of the supervisors, either Mr. Eric Parker or Mr. Walter Major, within 12 hours to resolve the issue. That was on June 25th.
I did not receive the promised call so I placed a number of calls and finally reached Mr. Walter Major on July 2nd. During our conversation he acknowledged that the whole debacle was cheapdeals fault and that Mr. Wandson had been fired as a result of it.
When I pointed out that we had lost a total $680 ($158 in baggage fees, $352 from the change in ticket price, $170 for service fees) Mr. Major said he would talk to “the owner” about the possibility of getting our baggage fees reimbursed to us. But he was unwilling to address the remaining $522. Mr. Major promised to get back to me by July 10th. That date came and went with no return call. So, I called on July 17th and again on the 18th and both times I was told Mr. Major was unavailable. However, the agents promised that Mr. Major would call me back. To date I have yet to hear from Mr. Major!
So again, be cautious when using cheapdealsfare.com They will promise you the world and leave you grounded! The bottom line is that we lost a total of $680! Not to mention the promised $500 flight voucher for our immense inconvenience during a time of bereavement! As well as the aggravation and wasted time which cannot be quantified.
At the very least cheapdealsfares.com is one of the most incompetent companies in the travel industry. At most cheapdealsfares.com is a scam! So, fly away from using cheapdealsfares.com or the money in your wallet will be the only thing that takes flight!
This company is absolutely horrible
This company is absolutely horrible. Bait and Switch! I booked a flight for my daughter to come visit and confirmation was for American Airlines flight when switch the carrier to Frontier. I have disputed this charge with my bank
THIS IS DEFINITELY A SCAM
THIS IS DEFINITELY A SCAM! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE & UNPROFESSIONALS. THEY YELL AT YOU!!! WE HAVE A DEATH IN THE FAMILY AND NO CONSIDERATION YET THEY STILL INSISTING TO PURCHASE THE DIFFERENT ITENARY. PRICE POSTED AT $391.00 FROM THEIR WEBSITE, NY TO TEXAS. AFTER BOOKING, A REPRESENTATIVE CALLED STATING THE FLIGHT IS FULLY BOOKED AND OFFERED ANOTHER OPTIONS. THEY WANT US TO GO TO A DIFFERENT AIRPROT WHICH IS VERY FAR AND INCONVINIENT . WE WANTED CANCEL THE BOOKING, UNFORTUNATELY THE WILL CHARGE AS $4,000.00 IN MY ACCOUNT. NEVER BOOK IN THIS PAGE!!!
You will regret dealing with these…
You will regret dealing with these people. A total SCAM.
I got a call in the middle of the night after 24 hours, that they cannot issue my ticket with that price and they were asking more than twice. They refused to give my money back. The worse is that untheorized charges are coming to my card after that, so I had to close my card.
Being lured in by a low price, only to have the price increase once they're contacted by the company.
My humble request not to plan your flight booking from this website. You trust the low fare and they do have a timer in the website showcasing the validity of the price . Once you book it they actually have the airline charge your card and call you stating that price will no longer match with the airline you need to think of alternate options like multiple stops or if you opted for non stop pay more or change your dates etc. Very pathetic it spoils your holiday mood. The upgrade could be pretty heavy based on your booking period. The only option to come out, is to pay the airline cancellation fee and refund the amount you got charged from cheapdealfar.com
Do NOT use this company!
I purchased a round trip ticket to Texas out of Newark three months in advance of my trip. Later in the evening I received a call from their representative who told me the return flight was overbooked, and to make a long story short wanted approx. $150.00 more to complete the transaction. The company is a total scam in my opinion. Shame on me for not checking them out prior to ordering the tickets. As they say “Let the Buyer Beware”. Do yourself a huge favor and stay away from this company.
I was not allowed to cancel!
I was not allowed to cancel my reservation within the 24 hr period no questions asked on the website. I was not provided a clear explanation of additional charges which amounted over $150 above the cost of my flights. Like other reviews, I got a call saying one of my flights was over booked no longer available so that’s when an over 2 hr time of back and forth phone calls and emails began. Do not use this company!!! Or any other 3rd party, check reviews first my bad for not doing that so I’m paying much more for a flight I could have gotten directly from the airlines and not getting the time I wanted! 😡
Click bait company
As others have indicated. They are false advertising prices on their website. You get called later on to more expensive tickets and they tell you that cancellation is not an option. It's a trap. They charge 150$ on top of regular tickets price as a service fee
If I could give 0 stars I would
If I could give 0 stars I would! I wish I had looked at reviews before falling into trap!
Be forewarned- the price you see on the comparison sites is NOT what you will be charged! You booking is not a confirmation and as you can see by all other reviews they call you with a higher fare. I also wouldn’t let them off the hook until I got confirmation with my assigned aisle seat numbers and baggage fee. They said I would receive email in 15-30 minutes. Called back 3 more times. Same statement. Do you think I ever received? No.
