I tried to see what the fuzz is all about with this app I’m an IT person checking if this legit. They didn’t find nothing and they start to bill my account through PayPal. I already cancelled it when they billed me the second time and now they billed me for the third time this month. Cancelling the account is no where to be found support is not helping me I have to go fill through PayPal to get money back. This is a terrible business I’m going to have to shutdown my PayPal account just get this sob to stop taking money off my account.

Terrible. I know for a fact this person was on a site at a certain location. They didnt find a match. Almost $23 after tax for a useless subscription. Then when you message support they give you some propaganda that just cause I didn't fi d anything doesn't mean it didn't work. But that is exactly what it means. No offer for a refund for a useless service. I should have looked on here 1st.

terrible experience. this is a total scam. They took my money for 2 searches. Then deleted the results. Then when I asked said they would give me a credit, now won't do it. Keep asking me over and over for same information. Do not waste your time, this does not work anymore. It used to. It looks like they have updated things but everything in my account got deleted. They keep asking for screenshots of the transactions but my banking app WONT ALLOW SCREENSHOTS! Every time I explained this they asked me same question. SCAM. Expensive mistake.

worst service. I searched two different people, and they gave me the same data for both people which tells me that this data is fake. Ai and data aggregator cannot give me fake data. waste of money and time

Does not query anything and refuses to let you cancel your account/subscription. Tried to mail them a month ago to close my account and subscription and was just charged again even after emailing them. Now when attempting to email them I get an "Address not found" bounce back.

Literally made a tinder account uploaded the same photos and it didn’t even pick me up just shows a bunch of random accounts

Got this for a friend to check if her ex was cheating. Never even worked. So I tried canceling it so I dont get charged and it wouldn't let me. Ive contacted cheaterbuster through their email for MONTHS now and no reply. It keeps trying to charge me but I blocked charges and talking to my bank currently since they have yet to respond to me.

I was looking to see if my bf was cheating and the results showed women and not men and I have heard he’s on tinder from other people but I needed proof. Why would women results show up? Either refund me or credit my account so I can do a proper rerun for the search. Otherwise, I’ll do charge back

Website is so much of a disaster, you'd think it was intentional. Forgot password? Literally doesn't work. Only shows an white overlay and thus the user has no way to directly reset their account without going through support. Support won't acknowledge their website is fundamentally broken. It'll also return the same message and behavior no matter what email address is put in raising the flag that it's one of many ways this website tries to prevent you from accessing what you paid for no matter who little of value it actually is. It all feels like it was done to prey on people via a subscription model and delay, obfuscate and hope they can eek out another round. Pretty clearly on par with the vibe coded disaster the html inspector shows.

Speaking of support, they'll lie and gaslight you until you think you've gone insane. Still have the messages, cheaterbuster. When they aren't completely inventing things that didn't exist, they barely respond. You'd think they'd be be able to follow up within a few minutes after a message but NOPE. You'd think a company built around AI would at least integrate a chat bot that would actually be responsive instead of a support that isn't actually available 24/7. It's as if words from this company has no meaning!

Why am I so instant on getting actual access from the website? Well the website double charges you. Not just in the sense of a scuzzy subscription but literal two identical charges seconds apart every month that would give Bernie Madoff a twinkle in his eye, which is brilliant because cheaterbuster can eventually cancel one with enough flustered emails only to keep it the cycle going. Once you give this website your card information the charges won't stop until you lock your card down.

And before cheaterbuster calls this out as fake (let's see if they have the gumption to call out a VERIFIED account as a fake review), I've got recordings of my experience and I'd happily share to a court.

So please, I beg of you. It's not worth it.

I thought I was purchasing one report then noticed reoccurring charges. I don't believe they provided any new information with the monthly reoccurring charges and was only aware of this due to my credit card statement. Unfortunately I didn't notice within 3 days of the charge and a refund was refused. There was no confirmation of reoccurring charges and no reminder email and website is super confusing. Obviously from the reviews I'm not the only one confused by the reoccurring charges. It doesn't clearly state charges are reoccurring but it did ask if I wanted to sign up for a second search which is absurd. If someone is paying a monthly fee for weekly searches, then shouldn't they be able to alter the search?

I purchased 2 searches on September 28 2025 and was charged the outrageous amount of $50 for a useless report, fine it was a waste of money and move along in life. NOPE. Oct 30 2025 an unauthorized amount of 101.06 from my chequing account was taken by cheaterbusters.
I have saved the email receipt from the purchase on Sept 28th outlining the charges for 2 searches, nothing of a membership or continued fees. I would happy to attach proof of purchase, proof of being a real account, proof of the unauthorized transactions of 101.06 Oct 30 2026
They know this is a real account because its the one I signed up with and blasted them over 25 emails asking for my account to be closed immediately and a refund of the unauthorized charges. Of course I heard nothing back and had to go to the bank and change my card so the cannot have access to my account.
I will have to do a bank dispute for a refund.
As you can see by the reviews anytime someone calls them out they claim it is a fake account and not what most experience! LOL

dont bother using this site, they pay people to promote this shit and it embarrassing, using fake images of people which tell them if they cheated or not which i find bullshit, dont bother using this site as they will steal your money the site is also full of claims that protentionally want to steal your data, it also falsely claim that the news @GMA covered it but it just fake. this add all the red flags into a massive scam, if you feel like someone cheating on you dont bother paying for this but rather trust your instinct.
EDIT: after looking into it, it is 100% a scam, first they rely on a youtuber just to promote it which only has ONE VIDEO but multiple shorts of promoting it which i find sus, technori.com tell us that this is legit, the one in technori is a verified user but mostly paid since theres other post that is mostly a scam so i think that this company is buying fake tech related post of this site to even further promote it which i dont think its allowed to do so.

Took a nice chunk out of my bank account last month for a service I purchased once in May. I have no idea why the money was taken, and cannot seem to get a response from the support team after a few weeks of reaching out. I will have to flag this as fraud and go through my bank to be reimbursed since you are absolutely of no help.

I've noticed CheaterBuster is doing everything to avoid accountability and merely explaining away bad reviews as fake, these are legitimate problems that plague software, why don't you actually address it rather than just say "haters gonna hate"

If you read all the reviews on trustpilot it is just a LITTLE suspicious that the Cheatbuster-Support almost ALWAYS answers on negative reviews with „we believe this account is fake“.
I read at least 20 reviews and i only saw ONE answer of them that was NOT „this is a fake review“😂😂
