These clowns provided Uber a mvr that’s doesn’t belong to me everytime I reach out I’m dealing with a robot I have been able to work since Sunday this has been the most frustrating week ever

If I could give it zero stars, I would! They took my money and didn't give me anything in return. I paid for a SSN trace in myself and they charged me for nothing. I mean I got no information in return. What's the point? How do I know if my SSN isn't being improperly used if I don't have a report to go by. I asked for a refund and they said no. It's incredibly difficult getting customer service.

They flag pending charges before the person has their day in court and proven guilty or inocent by the judge. A pending charge is not a confirmed charge.

I am Uber and Lyft driver this is the wrost company I have ever seen Lyft did my background check in under 24 hours and while the Uber one they have NOT updated and it’s been 3 months I mean we can lose houses cars credit over your slow and unprofessional service

I used this service to run a background check on myself for accuracy at the cost of $50. The "completed report" had zero details and it is impossible to get any technical support. I am challenging the charge to my credit card.

They are grossly incompetent, the worst background check company I ever came across with. Their incompetence could have caused me to lose my job.

It’s a nightmare. The website doesn’t work and you chat with a robot. I’m supposed to get a link so I can reset my password but I never got it. My friend needs to update his DL they don’t have a phone number. Why do they even exist??

Ordered a background check for a new employee. They upcharged me for an educational verification that I requested and then did not complete the educational verification. They wrote in the notes that they could not verify the potential employee, but per their notes they called once to the registrar and did not follow up. This company is a complete scam. I tried repeatedly to talk with their customer service about the charge, but they kept sending me generic robo-emails to thank me for my understanding and info about their fee structure without ever addressing the fact that they charged me for something they did not provide. I now have to take the time to dispute this with my credit card company. I would never ever advise anyone to use them unless you love losing money.

The company website does not allow you to cancel your membership. There is no way to talk to a real person, or even ask the question from chat, or send a message or email to do so. There are only two categories for chat. There is also no way to change my payment method, so I am locked in to a monthly $39 payment and unable to cancel.

These dummy’s operate a background check platform , however , they committed some fraud today as discrimination to a close friend by-way-of “secretly “ running an unauthorized background check and DMV check on my friend. So how did Checkr get my friend’s social security number ??? Humm … FRAUD !!!! FRAUD !!!! FRAUD !!!!

They clearly have no idea what they are doing. The level of incompetence is simply astounding

This company cannot be trusted to perform quality background checks and then report accurate information. In two weeks time; I had two checks ran, the first one Checkr reported dismissed cases as convictions as well as violated nearly every section of law regarding the reporting. This cost me a guaranteed job. The second one is under review by potential employer and although they removed the false convictions from their report Checkr made up for the removal by now going back 30 years and going as far as reporting the same incidents twice so it appears as being multiple infractions of the law.
Checkr should be fined under the FCRA and pay compensation to every individual denied employment due to the erroneous errors and obvious malicious padding of ones report. The best course of action would be to force closure, civil and criminal penalties assessed, public apologies, and the company controllers, investigators, and all other employees to take a fraud conviction, and possibly a HIPPA conviction as well.

Businesses should not trust this company to provide accurate information.
I am a survivor of 19 years of domestic violence and this company is reporting inaccurate information that I am charged. I was not charged, but the ex attempted a smear campaign to create a paper trail for divorce I was unaware of. Checkr is further providing misinformation about the domestic violence incidence. I have the audio where ex admits he came downstairs to get in my face and subsequently physically assault me.

Everyone that’s having a problem or lost an opportunity to get hired there’s a lawsuit against this background check I had close my case and they used my old case never updated the files no conviction on my background sign up for the lawsuit we all lost an opportunity my question is how is it that the company that’s hiring don’t see these things and reviews that’s odd that companies are still using this background check first advantage are the best on customer service I work at the airport my back ground came out clear but with my new job it didn’t it’s there lost not mine I showed my worth and that 1000 miles I can go to make this right and fight want i want in life everyone go check out the lawsuit and sign up let’s get these people out it’s a shame and sad

I used them for a background check and these people are this bot are whatever you want to call them cost me a job so I went to my hometown where I was raised and asked for a 7 year background check l didn't even have a speeding ticket as for the job it's okay because I got a better job making 7 dollars more an hour screw Checkr I swear if I could sue them l would in a heartbeat because they don't care if your record is right or if it's even yours they use people that can barely speak English all l say is BEWARE OF THEM FOR HEAVEN SAKE BECAUSE THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU AT ALL ARE IF YOU HAVE KIDS AND ABC TO BE ON THE STREETS JUST STAY AWAY

This company reports on arrest made not convictions.. the employer doesn't know the difference so you can miss a job opportunity because of an arrest that you were found no guilty on... Completely unfair.

Got part fo my criminal history completely wrong, refused to make any headway with dispute. Cost me a job. No humans work here. Phone is useless. It's just the chatbot. When you DO get chat support they just copy and past the same things in the phone bot.

They have been telling me for multiple days now oh we are just waiting on one more report from knox county Kentucky we'll I called the circuit clerks office and the sheriff's office for that county and neither department received anything so if you're just waiting on one dam report how can you get it if you never sent out the report and If you did send out a report why can't you tell me when you did so I can call that county and say hey look at your Email on this date I'm on the fence about to be homeless and I have children

I applied to get my background check because I wanted to do uber and Lyft and because I have a criminal record from over 8 years ago I wasn't accepted from neither one and now I am facing homelessness because I can't get a job anywhere in Canada.

I cannot give LESS than one star but if I could I most certainly would. On June 5, 2024 I signed to drive with UBER. I had moved back to PA in January and wanted to make some extra money. I had already driven for UBER in Texas. Fast forward TWO MONTHS and CHECKR the Worthless has still, STILL, not completed my background check. They give no really good excuse as to why. It is always some variation on "it's reallllll hard". Well if it is that damned hard to do a background check on someone who has had one moving violation and a few parking tickets in his whole life MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, you guys should get out of the business of background checks cause you suck at it.
