Best Bookshop Around
I love this shop. I always find a hidden gem and leave with something incredible - print copies of classic novels I adore and signed editions.
Be warned... if you visit Cheltenham Rare Books, time will disappear and you'll be browsing for a long time!

Perfect purchase
I recently purchased a beautiful hardback book about the surrealist, Antony Penrose. I really should have bought it years ago when it came out, so I was delighted to find this copy in immaculate condition with an extra protective sleeve for protection. I very much appreciated the attention to detail: the tissue paper the book came wrapped in, the Cheltenham Rare Books emblem, the leaflet containing a list of antique/2nd hand bookshops in the area & of course the super quick delivery time.
Thank you so much & I hope to be able to visit the store in-person, some day…

Great first time experience
I bought a Sidney Sheldon autobiography from this book store online. The website is very easy to navigate, with clear concise descriptions of the books. The packing of the book was superb, and was sent out extremely quickly. I would not hesitate to recommend this small business to anybody.

Books purchased for overseas delivery
Professional packaging, books delivered overseas with no problems at all. The quality of the books was spot-on. They reply to emails quickly.
Only request is to put a description of what the book is about in their online catalog.
We’re definitely going to use them again based on our current experience.
