I will not be ordering from this company again! I ordered a romper in red and it was bright orange and not the fabric shown in the picture. I tried to return it and was told they don't do returns. They would not give me a shipping label and I would have to pay for shipping. Here is the actual email:

WOW! How do places like this stay in business?! Guess I need to do my research BEFORE I order. :)

This company is such a fake…. Returns are

Sold To you!!! This is the company policy, refunds and quality is all garbage!!!! Do not buy from them!!!! Nothing is true of the description or size on there website. Returns is a joke. You will be paying twice of what you originally spend.

I wish I could give them a negative star review!! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SHADY COMPANY!!!!! I spent $200 on the worst quality Clothing. Some of the items were nothing like the picture. I’m livid. They say you can return things but you can’t!! You have to send it back to CHINA AND PAY CUSTOMS FEES!! They also said that many times it won’t pass customs so they can’t refund anything not to mention it would cost me more to return them I paid for the stuff. I wish I could put a huge red flag on this website and put them out of business. 😡

I ordered April 1, 2022 and have not heard anything. All the reviews on their website were 4.5 star. I believe they refuse to allow a bad review.

Quality of clothes is cheap and sizing is off. Returns process is a nightmare! Returns should be easily accepted and refunds should be issued completely and quickly. Information about the terrible return policy should be made clear in large bold print on the checkout page so that customers are made aware that a successful return is highly unlikely and their money will not be refunded and they will be stuck with I’ll-fitting poor quality clothes!

Chicindress is not good. I bought a couple of jackets that "looked" amazing on Pinterest. Once they arrived, They were crappy! They said they were a best seller. I am sure because the photo on model looks great. But I assure it, it arrives NOT looking like what Is advertised. I tried to get my money back since they have a money back guarantee. I am so glad I only bought 2 jackets totaling ($75.00). This is what they wanted me to do for my refund. I bought the jackets for a total of $75.00. The Return would have cost me $95.00 to send back to China. They do not have a location in the US therefore, it will cost you more trouble and time to try to get a refund. Their offer to me was return product($95). Only, to get 15% back on my card and a coupon for next time. Ha- No Thank you! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS VENDOR ON PINTEREST! After I started to look into them further, I saw tons of bad reviews and people who lost more money than I did. STAY AWAY!!! I wish I would have looked at reviews BEFORE purchasing. Lesson Learned!!!!! I am so disappointed!

Polyester clothing and completely deceived at time of purchase, description and picture. Have to return to China and cost is more than spent! Received 10$ of 68$ spent to not send it back. Do NOT buy through Pinterest or any other advertisements. Horrible simply horrible

Bought a camel coat from here. From other reviews it said good quality. So untrue! It came and it is a piece of rag. No lining, no form, seams not finished. Just a rag. I complained and they said basically sorry. You bought it you keep it. Now $40 isn’t bad but this one is for the principle. The “coat” is awful. I went to Post Office to return this and they said “it’ll cost you almost as much as you paid to ship it to China.” I said it’s the principle of the thing. I spent $27.75 to send back. That was 10/30/21. Also there’s no tracking number from Post Office since “it’s going to China.” Yesterday, 03/3/29/2022, I got the package back! There’s a sticker that reads “overdue customs declaration.” This means Chic in dress didn’t pick the package up. They SCREWED me out of $40 +$27.75! DO NOT BUY FROM CHIC IN DRESS. The quality is HORRIBLE!!!!!!

Absolutely the worst purchases ever made! Each item (4) was very cheaply made and with poor quality of material. The items looked very little like the picture represented much less the color. This company is beyond horrible - DO NOT BUY ANYTHING!!!

Do not order!!!! OR only order if you don't care about returning if dissatisfied. This company is based in china and does not have a valid return/refund policy for the USA. I ordered 7 pieces of clothing. they were terrible quality and the sizing was not accurate. I tried for 5 weeks to return, the only way i got them to respond was filing a complaint with PayPal. Finally they said to ship the clothing back to the address below and they would refund my money. The cost to return this shipment in a small 12x9x7 box was $207. the clothing was only $227.

Sizing charts inaccurate. Return procedure is the company telling you not to try to return the product to China because of customs delays. Customer has to pay all return shipping and fees. Offered $4 toward next purchase from them.

Horrible customer service! The items I ordered did not look at all like the descriptions. The fabric is very cheap and the colors not as pictured/described. I ordered two cardigans in the same size. One is extremely tight and the other fit okay. Customer service is a joke! I gave a one star review because I had to in order to write this. If possible, I’d give them nothing! It is impossible to get an address for a return. They wanted to send me $4.00 for an $80.00 purchase. When the two items I ordered arrived, they came from NY and California. I was willing to pay for returns until I found out they are actually from China. I wouldn’t buy my snake a fang cover from this company!! This company is not CHICKINDRESS, it’s a bunch of chickens!!

I wish I would have read all of the negative reviews before ordering. I spent over $100 two months ago and still haven't received anything. I thought that if I ordered via PayPal it would be a legit company, but that is not the case. PayPal has not been helpful in getting my money back. Very disappointing.

After dealing with Chicindress since January 27 to get a return label and refund for 2 items:
"According to our return policy, we accept your return request, but we really do not recommend you to return.
Now is a epidemic period, it will take a very long time to return to China, and it's quite expensive, about 40$ or more.

You also need to bear the freight. Return shipping fees are at customer's own expense. It's writing in the return policy.
Would you mind giving it to your friend or families as a gift or you can sell it to others?

I hope you can negotiate with us, we can partially compensate you and offer you discounts."
The 2 items cost about $90. I just want my money back. I've never had such a bad experience with a foreign clothing company. Shein has been wonderful to deal with. I don't know why I looked anywhere else!

I ordered several items in early January. Have yet to see them. Sent an email requesting update on my order. Received NO response as of yet and today is February 14, 2022. Happy Valentine's Day to me HAHAHA! I will just assume the $141.00 I spent is gone with nothing to show for it. Done and Done!!! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. Nothing left to say.

I ordered a blouse that did not fit. I emailed them and they asked to take a picture of the item and the bag that it came in. I did this. They responded that: "After checking with quality control department, the item is our best selling style, and we make sure it is the same style as model. For online shopping, there must be the size or display problem, but strongly suggest wear again and if fit not bad, I am sure you are charming in your style~"
Seriously! Try it on again....you will look "charming". It DOES NOT fit!!!! I emailed again and copied and pasted their own language from their website their return policy. I have not heard back....

I ordered a coat and dress. After several days I was notified the dress was out of stock and advised to pick another item. I explained I did not see anything else I wanted abs asked for a refund. The Customer service just kept replying to look again and they were sure I could find something. It took over 2wks to get a refund that should have been very simple. The coat I ordered was not as pictured at all, unless this model is 4 ft. I am 5’3” and this barely came below my butt. It arrived not as pictured in any way- color, fabric, not as is appears-CHEAP and low quality sums it up. The item ordered was described as a coat but arrived and was as thin as a shirt. They get you on that free shipping and the option for returns but when something doesn’t work they and you contact them, after weeks of back and forth they let you know returns are at your cost and it is a minimum $40 to ship something back.

Don’t even try to return something!
The company is based in and ships from China. My daughter put a jacket she saw on their website on her holiday wishlist. I bought it for her. The quality was not as she expected. After trying it on, she found the fit was poor and the lining uncomfortable.
After many emails trying to convince me not to return it, I got the okay. However, I would have to pay to ship it to China at a cost of almost its price.
