I have joined chili plus I rented a film for the very first time and guess what they have stolen my money they have taken my money from my credit card and I wasn’t able to watch any of their films do not joined them they are making fraud is fraudulent company do not registered any of your details or card details

I have purchased 12 films but I have had enough now. The sound quality on 3 films has been so bad, 2 have since been corrected but the latest 'cool runnings' has something running in background, can sound muffled as a result. Customer service is not great either.

If you 'purchase' a film you can only download it 5 times. If you need to delete it to free up space then download again later even you have a limit of 5 even though you apparently OWN the film!! Don't bother buying anything from them.
Also their support for any useful device is pitiful so even though you can still apparently stream without downloading they don't support devices you would want to do this on.

been using chili for about six months then my account was hacked and basically chili take no responsibility for the security of their site. If their site is compromised its your fault not theirs so tough.

hate watch movie with my country dubbing - but unfortunately don't know english so well to watch movies without subtitles.... and there is no such option - what the hell? what is the problem to add subtitles to movie? :/

I recently signed up with Chili after getting the GQ promo. I have to say there's a very good selection of movies and great TV series.
I also had a brief exchange with their customer service to help with setting up chili on my TV, they were professional and quick to solve my issue.

A bit mystified by the poor reviews, I found it fine.

Decent choice, decent prices and no subscription.

Excellent service, great for streaming movies and lots of new and recent releases. No buffering issues - easy platform to use, and decent value for money.

I had a £25 gift card from GQ but I couldn’t use it at all. Every time when I tried to order a film, it said you can’t use your gift card. W*F! Why do you have gift cards then. I didn’t want to contact their customer services at all after all the questions that you have to answer before the contact page..

Rubbish. The app doesn't download over slower connections and they remove movies from your account after 30 days even if you haven't watched them or they are on pre-order so there is no way to have even watched them. There are far better services out there.

Ordered a 4K Blu Ray, nothing has turned up 10 days later, stated 3 to 5 day on the order conformation, customer service is all but useless. I paid PayPal and have open a dispute, but this is a long process too. Never go near Chilli again and wouldn't recommend this terrible company. AVOID for you own sanity.

Do not order discs from this company. 9 days after order and they still cannot confirm that it has actually been sent. On the useless chat sessions I just keep being told to wait a few days longer. Avoid at all costs!

Customer service are redundant of common sense and knowledge

The company in my opinion is setup like a smash and grab honey trap for peoples money.

Dealing with this company was a really bad experience. The company deleted my credit on two occasions. I topped 10 pounds credit twice. In both cases credit was deleted after I used less than half of it. Customer service does not respond

Couldn’t stream or download the film I purchased despite having speeds of 35mbps on my device. Customer service is appalling and requested information that I’d already previously sent via the customer service contact in the app. Provided information again and they were completely unhelpful. I strongly advise people to use another service and will be going back to Rakuten and others that I have previously used. Disappointed customer with no resolve...

Tried Chili as it was preloaded on my new smart tv. Selected HD+, which I now know isn't the same as UHD. The picture quality was reasonable but looked compressed and the sound quality was nothing more than average. When Netflix and amazon are doing more and more movies in 4K and many others with dolby surround and atmos, Chili look/sound no more than average. My first full purchase was Mission Impossible Fallout. I should have waited... as a comparison I hired the same film on Rakuten and the picture and sound were both much much better on that platform.

My advice - if the film doesn't rely on special effects then you should have a reasonable time, so take advantage of their offers when needed. Otherwise do your homework and look elsewhere.

Poor customer service, I have bought, download and watched several films but one did not load. Contacted customer service with an hour of trying and they would not refund and blamed my TV and internet connected (despite other films working ok). Wont be adding any more credit to service and will be cancelling after this service.
