When office politics overshadows hard work
When office politics overshadows hard work
I worked at a Chimera Technologies where the office ambience was great and I met some genuinely good-hearted people. But the internal politics were exhausting. There was a specific person Sai Krishna Y - Sales Manager and everything ran according to his agenda.
It felt like no matter how hard you worked, credit was only given to a select few favorites. I remember a moment where a group of us put in massive effort, only to see the narrative being twisted by those close to the top. It became less about performance and more about who was 'playing the game' better.
How do you handle a workplace where the leadership is totally influenced by a small, biased circle?
