Good design with a huge flaw
I haven't had any contact with their customer support so I can't write anything about it but the product itself is sadly only a 5/10. The idea of using hard plastic for the see through case has a huge disadvantage: it does not absorb the shock of a fall at all. The case cracked in multiple places after my phone fell out of my hand twice. The corners were cracked so badly that it couldn't hold the phone anymore and my phone kept slipping out of the case. + the cracks kept getting stuck on pieces of clothing and partly ripping out strands of fabric etc. The design in itself is great. It is very thin and light but sadly doesn't do a proper job of protecting the phone. I wonder whether the same design with a softer material might have done the job better. Less than 6 months after paying 20€ for it, I had to throw it away. Wish I could add a photo of the case here. Sadly, not worth it.

You are right: our case does not offer much drop protection due to its extremely thin nature.
Any case can be damaged as a result of a drop.
It is a trade off between having good drop protection + being thick on one hand and being subtle but therefore having less drop protection on the other hand.
Unfortunately having the best of both worlds: being really thin and offering good drop protection at the same time is simply not feasible.
Translucent cases that are made of soft material instead usually start to yellow after a couple of weeks.
