What a little gem, fresh food, made in small batches and topped up continuously. An incredible selection for a small family run restaraunt, gives real original old time feel and is very clean and welcoming. I was really taken with the quality of the food on offer.
I always enjoy steamed, poached chicken slices usually in the salad bar section as served cold and this was the best I've ever tasted, actually melted in the mouth and so well seasoned.
The starters were plentiful and again of super quality, being made in small batches everything was fresh, crisp when supposed to be crisp and succulent not dried out like many I've been too, especially on a quiet day.
The mains were really so well made with the best chicken satay skewers I've had in a long time, obviously prepared with care and skill. Salt and chilli chicken was super. Soups and salad bar again very impressive for such a small place.
If you have room for desert then again a really thoughtful and delicious selection with a seperate freezer and choice of four ice creams and cones.
To top it all off they do kids age 1 to 3 eat free and the price.... Well it's incredibly good. There's a summer offer just now where kids eat free and it's just under £11 each for adults but it ends soon and the price goes back to 12.90 for lunch which is still incredible value.
They also do S/M/L tubs you can funk yourself for a super small price
The lady owner is so friendly and nice, you are supporting a family business and you will be very full up and satisfied on the way out
