I purchased a MINI from Chorley MG and dealt with Alex remotely via email and telephone. He was friendly, professional and courteous at all times. He managed to arrange the purchase at 3pm and by 5pm the car was prepped and on the back of a loader to be transported to me. It arrived just before midnight on the same day. I couldn’t be happier with the service provided and the quality of the car.

From the moment that we arrived to leaving with our new car, the service that we received from Adam, was first class. We had previously had a bad experience with a retailer and we can honestly say, that Adam restored our faith. First class service and we will be customers for life

Recently purchased from Alex at Chorley MG. The guy is an ultimate gentleman and professional. The car was impeccably presented, the handover was equal. Would definitely recommend Alex.

Very poor experience.
From the cold unfriendly 'welcome' at reception as you walk in, to the poor quality of stock. (We viewed several cars with mould on the seats.)
We did buy a car, however it became evident that it had been misrepresented by Chorley MG.
We were also sent another customers personal & financial details by mistake during a buying process.
We were promised the earth and misled.
Folliwing a complaint, we were advised the General Manager would contact us; no one did.
We got our money back after threatening legal action.
(I can see the car is back on the forecourt at an inflated price - and still misrepresented!)
In my opinion, this is a badly run dealership whose sole aim is profit over service.
I would strongly advise against buying a car from here, despite any feeble apology or explanation given below.
We had a great experience buying our MG. From walking in we was met by Meghan Hine who was welcoming and friendly. Not only was she very helpful and informative but there was no pushy sales. She had all the information we needed and arranged our test drive. Throughout we were kept in the loop and the sale went through quickly and smoothly. Meghan was a pleasure to deal with and we are really pleased with our car.

I have had dealing with these before. Have bought 2 new cars from them in the past. Saw a second hand car, went in to test drive. We had a part exchange, I had been offered £9850 and £10500. When he came back £8500, which was £2000 less than the best and 1350 less than the worse offer. When I show what I had previously been offered, he shrugged his shoulder and said "Oh it's them" . The 2 companies were 2 big car sellers. On the invoice was an admin fee £50 a fuelling fee £20, for an electric car of . my point is if they have an advertised deal then you are OK. But if you are an existing customer they will try and extort as much money as possible and tell you, you are getting the best deal. how do I know this because I was a regular customer and I want to buy a new car off them, they assured me they gave me the best possible deal, but I put my details in one of those sites where dealers offer there best price, the same sales person offer me a far cheaper deal, because He didn't know it was me. Also I used to have my car service there at a premium price, the couldn't be bothered to give it a clean, like you get a decent main dealership. My advice stay away unless it a really good deal.

I wouldn’t buy from them again.
Multiple problems that ca never be addressed until you get to a management level. I purchased extended warranty.
First problem was they put 3 new tyres on my car at purchase as was advisories on the MOT. The tyres pressure light kept coming on and I returned to the garage 3 times. Kept saying it was a faulty sensor. On the 4 visit to an alternative Chorley group garage they recognised that one of the 3 tyres was a different size to the rest and this was the problem. New tyre supplied and issue resolved.
Second issue was that they claimed they serviced my car upon purchase, even out a sticker in my car with the dates and mileage for next service. The light came on a few months later. When I called the garage to clarify, the invoice from purchase confirmed they had not serviced my car and had lied. This would have invalidated my warranty. This was rectified.
Third issue was when the engine management light came on and I took it in to be repaired, they said I would have to pay £150 for diagnostics even though I had already had that done at another garage. I was taking it there as I was told this was not a wear and tear issue and to utilise my warranty. At no point was I told that the warranty in fact wasn’t with themselves and I could have used any vat registered garage. Complete lack of transparency. This fee was later refunded.
Fourth issue was that the cat proceeded to go into the garage a further 4 times for issues that kept flagging up electronically. Multiple items replaced on the car and unable to resolve. Informed they was referring my car to Volkswagen. 3 weeks later still no communication despite chasing and so I took it to Volkswagen myself. First thing they was was has the battery been checked as this can throw off lots of various faults if things are not being powered. Battery checked and needed a new one. The battery on the car was also the incorrect battery and never been coded into the car. This may have been prior to them purchasing the car but surely after the amount of times the car had been in the garage the battery should have been checked. Battery replaced and all problems have resolved.
The customer service and lack of competence is embarrassing and the only person I’ve ever spoken to that has resolved issues has been Lee.
I would never buy another vehicle from this garage.

Bought an 18 plate used car from them. Do not trust the checks they do as they sold it me with a broken heater matrix. In warranty luckily but it has taken well over 6 weeks to get parts. Give a wide berth when it comes to there used cars

I initially contacted MG Chorley and spoke to Ben about an MG5S however after discussions it was really clear it want the car for me. Ben didn't push me into anything else but took the time over the phone to discuss options and alternative cars.
There was zero pressure from start to finish, the initial discussion confirmed the right car and finance package for me, Ben took the time to show me an example car for a test drive and let me go out on the drive unaccompanied which meant I had time to get to know the car.
When I got back Ben was genuinely interested in what I thought, again no pressure from him to buy, he was just enquiring as to how I found it.
As I loved the drive and loved the service from Ben I went forward with the deal. A pick up date was arranged for today (12/12) and when I got there Ben was brilliant again, relaxed, no pressure, took the time to talk me through things and highlighted an issue they noted themselves. Fortunately (and really well handled) the small issue with the car was resolved there and then!
I'd certainly come back to Chorley MG and would really recommend Ben and Chorley MG to anyone!

Excellent customer service!!
Brilliant service, quick and efficient and excellent customer service from Megan Hine. After a lot of back and forth with previous dealerships, Megan sorted me out with a new car sale in one day with a following free delivery the week after, couldn't believe how easy it was compared to previous experiences. Very quick email response and answered all my questions that I had. 100% recommend!

MG in Chorley supplied me with a used car. I had a disappointing experience without going into detail.

Spoke to Megan at Chorley MG as I was looking for a new car. Megan went above and beyond, making regular contact over the period of a few days and providing excellent advice in relation to figures of a range of cars, as well as being on hand to answer any questions promptly. I settled for a car which is currently at another dealership within group, which Megan has been able to sort and I pick up on Wednesday.
Thank you again Megan, you made the whole experience stress free and great! ☺️
