Lost $10k to Black Sky Digital. Chris Wane promises big results but doesn't deliver.
I feel it is important to share my extremely negative experience with this company. I purchased the ADA Course for almost $500 and a few months later decided to book a "Discovery Call" as I was considering the "Mentorship" program, which was advertised on the website as providing a "customized game plan" to boost my results. During the call, I specifically asked about the success rate of their program and was told by Dominic, Chris's assistant, that everyone succeeds, which was the main reason I decided to seek their help. However, the reality was quite different, and the program did not meet my expectations.
After being granted access to the ADA Elite Course, I noticed that it appeared to be nearly identical to the ADA Course, with the exception of a video on Google Ads that had been removed. To make matters worse, without any notice, my access to the ADA Course I had purchased was taken away, and when I requested a refund, it was refused. So essentially, I paid for a product that was taken away from me and was duplicated in the Elite Course, which was never mentioned.
Moreover, the Mentorship program only offered two Zoom calls per week with Chris, during which other participants also took part, and we were required to share our shop data and products. The frequency of responses on the Slack chat was unsatisfactory, and it decreased significantly when they realized that my business was not going to be successful and they would not receive more money from me. The contract also stated that if my shop earned $15,000, I would be required to pay an additional $5,000, which can be considered to be a hidden fee. Additionally, there was a weekly Zoom call available with a purported "Shopify expert" and a purported "Facebook Ads" expert.
The advice I received was completely misleading and ultimately ruined my shop. Despite having a few sales before joining the program, they advised me to stop running ads without analyzing my campaigns and suggested that I completely redo my shop. I struggled with their impractical ideas and demands, and my shop did not succeed at all. In fact, I had to change my product entirely.
One of the worst parts was when they asked for a list of products I was considering using in my shop, and then they missed a winning product on my list. After a month of review by Dominic, Chris mentioned that I could that missed product, which was already viral, and almost 50 other shops were already selling it. It was much too late to start with it, but Chris kept insisting that there was nothing wrong with it, and I could still succeed. Of course, I didn't, as I had already missed the boat.
In the end, when I expressed my dissatisfaction, Chris refused to take responsibility and was argumentative. To make matters worse, I was removed from Slack without any word, not even a goodbye, thank you, or sorry. This behavior is unprofessional and dishonorable and not what I expected from a professional mentorship company.
I deeply regret listening to their advice for three months and not following my own instincts. They are ruining people's businesses and lives, and their confidence in themselves blinds them to their own failures. None of the shops that I can recall from the Zoom meetings succeeded; all of them are now closed. I have a suspicion that their interest in asking for our product lists may not be solely to provide guidance, but could also be for their own benefit. I strongly advise against using this company as they do not take responsibility for their actions, do not offer personalized guidance, and are unprofessional in their behavior.

Had a 15 minute on-boarding call with Dominic. Told him I had $2-3000 CAD to invest with Chris Wane. He said that’s great! When I reached out to move ahead, Chris Wane himself said that he’s not interested in moving forward with me.
Why would I continue after being kicked to the curb?! Cancelled my Data Research course. After repeatedly requesting a refund, the only response was with a huge list of criteria that is completely subjective and impossible to meet!
Get Stuffed!
P.S. Now this douche is attempting to have my review removed claiming that I was never a student!! Shambollocks! (June 16/23)
3 weeks ago I have purchased Advanced drop shipping Academy course by Chris Wane. On his promoted video explained that we can ask refund in 32 days if we are not satisfy with the course. After purchased the course, I realized that there is only Facebook and Tiktok training, I expected many topics and strategies that able to drive customers to the online store and increase the conversions. I noticed there are so many free drop shipping course on youtube, one of them is E-com King, which is nearly 8 hours course including Facebook, Tiktok, Instagram, Google, SEO Ads and Chatbots as well. I am so disappointed about the Advanced Drop shipping Academy course and asked refund, but they did not refund.
