A family-run artisan cheese company based in Skegness, Lincolnshire UK - The business was started in 2012 by husband & wife, Stuart & Emma Colclough. It was later incorporated as The Chuckling Cheese Company Ltd in 2015
The husband and wife duo, Emma and Stuart Colclough set out on their cheesy adventure hosting market stalls at local events around the United Kingdom. During this time is when the cheese team began to grow and soon become notorious for Flavoured Cheddar and our widely developed range of unique flavoured cheese. Offering over 40 different flavours.
We’re not just a cheese company, we also have a wide range selection of chilli jams, craft beers, vodkas, coffee syrups, fudge bars, sweet meringues, and lots more. In 2016 we opened our first Chuckling Cheese Shop in the Skegness Hildred's Centre, then in the next two years, we opened two other stores. One in Doncaster Frenchgate Shopping Centre and another in Middlesbrough Hill Street Shopping Centre. In 2020, we grew the company further by opening two more shops, in Merry Hill Shopping Centre in Brierley Hill near Birmingham and one in Metrocentre in Gateshead near Newcastle. At our shops, you will find an extensive product offering, such as baked goods, cheese sampling, and a freshly baked cheese toastie.

Pointless delivery date option
Can't fault the goods themselves but delivery isn't great! I'm asked to select a delivery date only for 2 separate orders (intended to arrive just before Mother's Day) are sent out 3 days earlier and delivered mid week! Luckily both recipients were in but I don't see the point of having the option to pick a date!

Hamper for a friends Birthday did not turn up.
Ordered a hamper for a friends 70th Birthday. Ordered a week before but the hamper was never delivered. Tried to contact the company to ask what had happened and had no response back. Ended up having to get a refund via PayPal. Would not recommend to use.

Good products and ordering
Was able to order items 2 months ahead of delivery when planning surprise birthday party that was just before Christmas. As this was for a cheese "cake" storage was going to be a challenge if gained too early.
Sadly items arrived day after requested delivery date so hubby nearly discovered the party plans (courier issue).
Cheeses were fabulous and enjoyed by all, looked brilliant on the table too.
I also send to family 200 miles away and they always comment how well packed items are, especially when bottles included. They love the cheeses and variety they do.

Excellent cheese and have purchased several times from this company. Did have some delays to couple orders at Christmas but it was communicated to me via email. Overall happy with products and would use them again

First order - love it!
We had our first order from The Chuckling Cheese company for Christmas. There was so much to choose from, and I did order a little too much, so actually have two left to enjoy! We had an advent calender too, and those little cheeses were just perfect for my salad at lunch time. The cheese is full of flavour, and a lovely texture. Will definitely buy more at a later date.

Good products
Although I have had orders which have taken a long while to arrive in the main I am very happy with the service. The opportunities to try different cheeses in small amounts is good for future reference and packing is always excellent. The sets make good gifts and mystery boxes or good value. I am also very happy with with variety and choice of chutneys.

Perfect gift
When I ask my husband for birthday and Christmas ideas his reply is always "cheese"😅 What started as a joke is now a tradition and I always go to Chuckling Cheese. He loves the hampers and trying the various flavours so it's a win-win for both of us.

Great selection of cheese and other products (the fudge is lovely), decent prices, well packaged and reliable delivery, if sometimes earlier than expected- better than late though. Shame the Mexican Chilli cheese is no longer available but that's the only negative. Oh, and the little wooden Merry Christmas gift tags go well on trees, too.
