Deceptive 4th of July Scavenger Hunt Used as a Bait n Switch Sales Tactic
I am writing this to warn consumers about the predatory and highly deceptive promotional tactics currently being used by Chumba Casino.
Recently, the platform sent out an official "4th of July Scavenger Hunt" event. The initial promotional material explicitly stated that if a user found the correct game based on a holiday clue and played it, a "prize" would drop into their account after the event ended.
Instead, upon completing the hunt, I received a congratulatory email with the headline "YOU'RE A WINNER". Instead the email revealed that the holiday "prize" was not a reward at all it was an invoice requiring me to purchase a coin package for $15.
To make this deceptive behavior even worse, I already had a standard, superior discount available on my account ($10 for 40 SC) that had been sitting there for over a week. Chumba used a holiday themed event to mask a worse, paid marketing offer as a game reward just to capitalize on player engagement.
Framing a paid sales pitch as a (winning prize) for a holiday event after requiring player participation is a classic bait n switch maneuver. Combine these desperate sales tactics with an incredibly poor return 2 player (RTP) experience where you lose consistently, and it is clear the platform's primary focus is extracting cash through misleading compliance loops. Buyers beware.

There are such a wide variety of games to choose from if you love to play and I have had some pretty nice wins during my time. They always have some kind of contest going to win SC coins which come in handy and I love the new Chest. Never had an issue and will continue to play, you never know when that next big win may come.

I've been playing on Chumbacasino.com off and on for 5 years. For the first few years it was great. They would give you a dollar login bonus ANYTIME once a day. There was only 1 other site that does that (still do, zula). And then they changed it for some reason... which was wasn't as great but it was acceptable. You just had to log in for 7 days straight to get the good bonus. However, now..... no SC login bonus at all. GC? Yeah...SC? buy only...I'm not sure what changed or why, but now chumba isn't even in the top 10. What happened? They used to be great. It's very upsetting.

I used to love chumba but now I have to pay tax every deposit I don't hardly ever hit on any of the games anymore. Many of the games that were my favorites were taken off the platform. Example, I purchased probably more than $1,000.00 just this week and yesterday I was able to get up to $2500.00.
