I ordered a box of 6 brownies for a birthday surprise, however the gift card was not sent with the delivery and I contacted the company and was informed this is human error and they refunded me the £1 for the gift card, however they are missing the point it is irrelevant how the brownies taste if you send a gift and the recipient has no idea who has sent them and what they are for, the gift card makes the gift and without it the gift is pointless. I had at the same time ordered a Christmas box for a friend and I had specified the delivery date, however they delivered 2 days earlier and therefore she was not in to accept the gift and I had to inform her that her gift had been sent to a pick up point and send her the QR code to collect, once again sort of detracts from the gift. I definitely will not be ordering from this company again, they need to sharpen up their act if they want to continue on business. Human error!! It’s poor management my friends.
Chummys have since been in touch and offered a full refund which I am happy about and have therefore amended the star rating now to 5. I appreciate this and going forward rather than saying it’s human error offer to resend the gift with the message as I feel that’s the best way to approach it. However thank you kindly for getting back in touch.

Fantastic bakery!
Started using them a few years ago when my daughter moved to London for uni .. I send a box of postal brownies down to her and her housemates for her birthday , they all love them! Brownies are delicious , lovely packaging and the delivery by dpd is brilliant , considering her birthday is mid December I’ve never been let down by the bakery or delivery

I bought this item as a gift, but it arrived in an outer box that was sticky and smudged, which was disappointing and unsuitable for gifting. I also paid for gift wrapping and a message card, but the card was missing.
When I contacted the company, I received a very brief response saying that due to how busy they were, these things can happen, and I was refunded £1 for the missing card. There was no real acknowledgement of the poor presentation or the inconvenience caused.
Overall, I was disappointed with both the product condition and the customer service, and I would not order from this company again.

Excellent products, but far too many emails ! …it’s so stressful
I bought these brownies for my grandson on his 30th birthday as a treat. I was rather anxious as he is a bit of a connoisseur but I needn't of worried as he said that they were, in his words, "omg Divine" Many thanks to Chummy's bakery for delivering on their promise.

We were gifted a box of your brownies by a good friend, my husband hasn't been well. They certainly cheered us up, they were delicious. A friend of mine isn't well and it was her birthday, so I knew that she and her family would enjoy these too. And they did!!

After my initial experience trying to amend an order which was tricky as the company are not easy to call by phone, however following my emails , Chummys got in touch and were generous in the way they resolved the situation. It was a shame the initial order went wrong as it meant the order missed an occasion but the company bent over backwards to make it up to me so I’m sure I will order from them again.

I ordered afternoon tea for my daughter's birthday. The delivery company messed it up and did not deliver to the address. I reached out to the vendor and they arranged for a fresh box to be delivered the next day. I appreciate their support. Thanks to Ms Naomi!
