Terrible experience with this company. I had to attend the visa centre twice due to the company misplacing my passport. Very concerning.
Don't answer the phone, don't respond to messages, send emails trying to charge without saying the cost. Don't actually process the visa. Need to use other authorised agencies. Rogue company
I should have looked at the reviews no one I mean no one should use this company!
I’ve been trying to cancel my order literally a second after my company put it through because I have already obtain my esta visa within 1 hour via the government website
Avoid by any means. They are not fulfilling commitments and unreachable by any means
Absolutely hopeless. Filled in the details, paid and heard absolutely nothing. Tried calling them, there is no way to get through without an order number. Which I have not received. Avoid.
CIBT Visas (or Visa Central as they are now known) go to great length to assure you that they can get you a passport in your hands within 6 working days. Well....they can't! This company does nothing more that what you can do yourself and can't jump queues or anything of the sort.
I send my application off (at a cost of £22 by Special Delivery 9am) only to receive a call to say they can't get an appointment with the Passport Office so can't meet the 6 working day promise. So it seems, the high costs are mainly for someone to attend a passport office meeting on your behalf, so if there are no appointments they can't meet their promises.
To rub salt in the wound, I was charged a further profiteering £18 for them to send me back my passport by Special Delivery. It's an absolute disgrace! I've incurred costs of £40 for NOTHING, all directly caused by this company. And to make matters worse, they are still advertising that they can get passports with 6 working days so many others will now fall foul of this scam. I would would strongly suggest you avoid this company.

It started off okay and then went quite quickly downhill. I would recommend steering g clear of them.
1) They filled in My application form for an Indian visa with an incorrect email address. When I asked for it to be changed they replied that it wasn’t important (I insisted, they changed it)
2) They incorrectly filled in my tel number plus parent details- they changed without question.
3) They didn’t tell me when rules changed meaning I know had to attend visa appointment.
4) They made a visa appointment with a 5 day (including day of attendance) turn around. This caused me to change my trip when the Indian HC moved visa processing times to 10 working days
5) They tried to avoid returning my fees by sending me from pillar to post when I requested a refund
6) They refused to refund the extra costs I incurred by moving my trip as a) it was originally a 7 day turnaround for the visas which they then said was a 5 day turnaround including day of submission when they booked the date originally- unfortunately I can’t ascertain whether this is true or not.
Probably taken up 15 hours in organising and complaints, ( whilst they tried different ways to stall my complaint) my fees have been refunded but my £500 of moving costs have not. I’d recommend using a different company.

Apparently they do not check your ESTA application before submitting it to the US Embassy. I later discovered my wife’s ESTA was refused because yes was entered on one of the eligibility questions (When this is done on the US Embassy website a warning appears to ask if you are sure you want answer yes? But not on the CIBT form).
When we contacted the CIBT helpline on their Premium rate number (beware this is not highlighted), after a £28 phone call resulting in no resolution and very little customer service. The rest of my contact with CIBT was by e-mail to save money. Although several e-mails did not result in any positive advice.
After 4 months of stress and anguish we travelled to the US Embassy in London from Spain to obtain a US Visa.
If you need a ESTA the costs charged by CIBT greatly exceed those if applying via the US direct which is $23.

Honestly if I could give no stars I would. I'm going on a World Cruise, on my own, in January 2023. It's the trip of a lifetime and one that I have saved a very long time for. CIBT were recommended by P&O so I attempted to contact them by email - no response. I tried to phone them but received an automated message, asking me to key in my order number. I didn't have an order number; I hadn't started my application as I needed their advice. It was a complete Catch 22 situation.
In the end I uploaded my documentation and completed the form for the USA visa and emailed it to them. In less than half an hour I had a response telling me that my visa had been approved. That was an impressive turnaround, but they couldn't possibly have checked my application prior to sending it off in so short a timeframe. I believe they simply forwarded it on. The cost of this forwarding service was excessive to say the least. They also did not attach any documentation to their email. I had to go and search for this myself. Once again, I emailed them, asking a question relating to this application. I did get a response asking me for my order number, which I gave them. I never heard anything more.
I decided I wouldn't use them again and successfully applied for my visas for Australia and New Zealand. I had signed up for the Gov UK travel information and get regular (free) emails from them whenever there are changes related to visiting countries. I've found out far more from this source than from CIBT. I did ring P&O and complained at this company's poor service. The person I spoke to said that she was surprised as P&O always recommend using CIBT. That doesn't make them a good company though, does it?
What really irritates me is that many people who are less confident with technology will continue to use them and may well have the same poor level of service that I, and it seems a large number of other people, have had. When I looked at the CIBT website yesterday there was a notice (which I'd seen several times previously) stating that the Australian Government had suspended the issue of visas for the moment. The first day I noticed this statement I successfully applied for, and was granted, my Australian eVisitor visa. I just don't think this company knows what they are doing. When I first downloaded the packs for my World Cruise, they only gave me forms for Sri Lanka, USA and Australia - yet I need a visa for New Zealand.
I can only say that if you go on to the individual country's immigration website there is very clear and detailed information as to the visas you can apply for and which one would be right for you. The Gov UK website gives you up to date information on every country in the world as soon as it is received. You have to complete application forms anyway, whether through a country's website or by going through CIBT. The only difference is that the individual countries website gives you far more information and when I asked a question relating to my New Zealand application I received a response by email within 24 hours. Save yourself some money and an awful lot of stress and do it yourself.
UPDATE FOLLOWING REPLY FROM CIBT:
Don't waste even more of your time emailing Vance Mcallister - the email doesn't bounce back, but you won't get a reply - I've been waiting weeks. This simply confirms the type of organisation they are. I would never use their services again and would advise anyone else to do the same.

Just useless. I have to use this company for work. They have now messed up 2 visas, been incompetent, slow, lost data and caused a lot of unnecessary stress and cost

Great, efficient fast, but BLOODY EXPENSIVE, over double the fees SHERPA charge!! But they got my children’s passports Vietnam visas that Sherpa could not do due to a web page error. Thanks CIBT

Shockingly bad service
Did not respond to multiple calls/emails and failed to book a visa appointment in time for our trip. Would never use them again.

Yasser was a very good support for me and could confirm that the visa I had created was valid, except the photo on the visa that was not in the right position (to be rotated by 90°)

Reply from Cibtvisas
They do not answer the phone or reply to emails. Please don't waste your money as most visa's they get are by inputting the data that you have provided into a host countries website that you can do yourself. May be useful if the country needs a visit.
Update:
The response posted by the company is pathetic. Just get the processes right and don’t expect that a customer should email you to repeat an issue! Btw no reply still to original query!!

Booked a holiday and used service to apply for visa. Delayed in submitting because apparently was missing information but it was all uploaded. 1 week left till my holiday still no Visa, decided to cancel the whole thing and get my documents back so I could plan a holiday to a different country. I called to request for my documents back with or without a visa and they claimed I needed to fill a form and a manager and case handler would be contacting me. It’s been 2 business days no call and now I have been waiting on premium line for 20mins. Don’t use this company avoid at all cost. Pay the time and money to travel/post your application to embassy directly if you can or use another company.

Has to be the worst company I have ever had to deal with. Things can go wrong, but with this shower its impossible to sort it out because they don't reply to emails, answer phones within 40 minutes or more. If you ring them it costs a fortune and I am sure they deliberately don't answer so as to run up the clock. Applied for a VISA on 13/9 no response other than taking over £400, then a month later they say we cant get you a VISA so destroying a £4,000 holiday. Not even a sorry!! OH and the platitudes to earlier complaints on Trust Pilot about contacting the manager. He doesn't exist..his emails bounce back. In short do not do business with them, You will regret it.

Rudest service ever. More frustrating and insulting than help. Please find another visa service and save yourself some heartache. These ones are in the business of taking your money and nothing else. Run.

Terrible service, impossible to get hold of someone on their 084 number (repeatedly held on hold for 30+ minutes). The information is not the clearest and their website design is terrible and very un-user-friendly. They are expensive as well.
Careful dialing the 08 contact number as most mobile phone contracts charge an extortionate fee eg 44p per minute, to call this number.
Still awaiting email response, dreadful.
