Was better last year.
Have rented from Cicar, Las Palmas, 3-4 times before. Everytime a good experience. This time they tried to charge 38€ for a 34€-car. They had only a few cars left that day, and was up to find someone willing to pay. But that someone was not me.

The best rent-a-car company I have ever hired! A total-covered insurance and a second driver are included in all the prizes published on the web, so you know exactly how many your trip is going to be. The cars are perfect and the staff is really nice. I totally recommend it.
La mejor empresa de alquiler de coches que conozco. Sus precios incluyen el seguro a todo riesgo y un segundo conductor, con lo que tienes claro lo que te va a costar desde un primer momento, sin que te intenten vender otros productos y servicios volviéndote loco en el último momento.
Los coches están en perfecto estado y el personal es encantador. La recomiendo sin lugar a duda

With Cicar
With Cicar; No hidden charges. The prices that you get on their website is the only money you pay. You do not have to pay until at the point of collecting your car except the deposit that you might make for the petrol/Diesel. But once you return the car with the same level of petrol, you get your full refund.
I have tried some of the bigger car rental companies and they will start talking about insurance at the point of collection and you end up paying double or more.
