Some how cineworld Watford don't do…

Some how cineworld Watford don't do Bollywood movies at all i don't know what is the cause but most of the time only Hollywood movies i have cineworld membership i live in Watford i thought it would be best for me to go and watch Bollywood movies as im interested in Bollywood movies, but everytime I check on their website no Bollywood movies and if I check on other cineworld website they have Bollywood movies showing in the cinema, don't know what is the reason.

Customer service is as bad as I have ever experienced

I am a new limited member and have a problem with a ticket and my account not allowing me to book a film, they have no phone contact anymore only email through the app, I have completed the form 9 times now and every time they are asking me for the same info I have provided every time as if they are not reading my mail

Booked the week before the showing

Booked the week before the showing, unfortunately my daughter became poorly so couldn’t make it. I asked if I could reschedule, it was a flat no, I would have to purchase tickets again. Really Cineworld? Is this the best you can do? Why not issue a voucher so I can rebook. You’ve had the money

Extremely Disappointing Experience at…

Extremely Disappointing Experience at Cineworld Wakefield

I recently attended the 17:20 screening of the Minecraft Movie at Cineworld Wakefield with my family, and unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing. During the film, a group of teenage boys began shouting and making disruptive noises, which caused significant distress to my daughter, who is autistic and particularly sensitive to loud noises.

After informing a staff member about the situation, he assured me he would address it. While he briefly entered the theater and the noise stopped for a moment, it soon resumed, causing my daughter even more distress. We ultimately had to leave the cinema just 15 minutes into the film due to her upset.

Upon leaving, another parent even remarked on the disruptive behavior of the boys. I reached out to management via email to express my concerns, and although there was an acknowledgment of my situation, the overall response did little to resolve the issue or offer any meaningful support.

This experience has left me extremely disappointed with Cineworld's lack of appropriate action and support. As a result, my family and I have decided that we will no longer use your services.

I hope Cineworld takes feedback like mine seriously and makes the necessary improvements to ensure a more supportive and respectful environment for all customers.

Well don't use the Cineworld app…

Well don't use the Cineworld app and make a mistake because there is no chance they will give you your money back

I have ended up paying 80.00 quid for 3 cinema tickets because I didn't buy them through the app but as a guest on the app
No customer service . Only email no one reply too
I will never book tickets using this ever again

In November I was charged twice for my tickets. I contacted cineworld to get a refund. Unfortunately cineworld didn’t feel the need to respond until 13/1/25 with a reply they were busy and now it’s too late for a refund. I emailed them straight away to say this was not acceptable because they can’t do their job and have no customer service I’m expected to just accept that they get to keep my money. It is now 7/1/25 and I still haven’t received a response.

Booking issue

Be careful with this - I joined up, went through the process of ordering cinema tickets for tonight, used Apple Pay, money was taken. Then I receive an email from Cineworld saying the ticket purchase has failed. So no tickets but money taken from my account. Help line no longer being serviced so no-one to complain to. Will never use them again. Be warned.

Unlimited hassle to resolve a so called Unlimited Pass

My husband purchased 2 x 3 month unlimited passes for a Xmas gift. First of all they didn’t send us reference number so I had great difficulty getting I. Touch and for them to resolve this to send out . I eventually managed to speak to someone on instagram after customer services on messenger told me I would just have to wait as they were really busy. After 2 weeks I was eventually given 2 codes , set them all up and then went to book . As one of the accounts was a code for cat 2 -it was asking for a £2 supplement every time we booked ( both should have been completely free to book tickets ) . Again after several conversations on insta we were told they would resolve via it . A week later and several more messages and we were told sorry - no can do and we could have the accounts cancelled and re issued new codes . I was given the codes and after another chase up the accounts were closed …here we are on the 1st Feb I have tried to reset up 3 months free with the new codes but no - the codes are for 30% off a 12 month pass . I don’t want a 12 month pass I want the 3 month passes I tried to purchase on the first instance . Incredible!!! I am so disappointed and totally fed up! It’s just not good enough Cineworld come on sort this out . So another weekend and I can’t go use the pass that was meant to be my Christmas present . !!!

Edit:

Issue resolved today vouchers sent to cover membership via Instagram - thank you. I am looking forward to my cinema visits .

Better Take Blankets etc etc

Belfast Odyssey, Auditorium 8, 17.40 pm, opening day of Paddington In Peru - (along with my wife) felt frozen from start to finish, was using an overcoat and scarf to maintain some warmth (the onset of winter, bearing in mind the date). It seems others might've experienced heating issues within the Cineworld chain auditoriums (whether too cold or hot, perhaps depending on the time of year and whatever the internal underlying reasons). Also it follows on from my previous complaint, trying in vain to book tickets online (subsequently liaising via email with the executive branch personnel). But now this actual experience marred the novelty of visiting for the first time and the movie itself, when they're supposed to be better than all the rest (of the less hi-tech competition)! ps relatively deserted premises, considering it was a Friday night too. Also, unless the screening is enhanced in some specialist way (we saw in 2D), the price guage is not value for money, neither for tickets nor the snacks. The only part of which they offer some consolation, is free parking (accredited to your ticket) for a film duration - although I'm not sure how that compares to the circumstances (on the cost) of different urban cinema zones.

This was the first time visiting this…

This was the first time visiting this Cinema in Beverwijk. It soon became apparant that although the public areas were air conditioned they do not operate adequate air conditioning in the actual screens. I presume this is why there was a break in the film to allow the sweating customers the chance to spend their money on cooling drinks at high prices in the air conditioned area. I would advise not to visit this companies cinemas in the Netherlands as there would appear to be a degree of dishonesty in the way they are run
