Issue

Hi,
I enrolled my child in your group classes starting from Foundation 2, and later transitioned him to one-to-one sessions. I was advised to take a package of 96 classes, for which I paid ₹25,000 during Foundation 2 (this was a full payment made about a month before Foundation 3).
The classes began on March 24th. However, in the first week of May, a notification appeared stating that the subscription would end within a week, and I was asked to make another payment. I was surprised to see that the calculation seemed to restart from February 24th.
I have been trying to reach the sales team, but my calls have not been answered and there has been no response. This has been a very disappointing experience as a parent, mainly due to the lack of proper communication.
During the sales process, I was assured that the representative would stay in touch for any support. Unfortunately, after the payment was made, I have not received any response from her.
I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and provide clarity at the earliest.
Thank you.

Highly disappointed

My son is attending classes on one on one basis for about one and a half month and I am very highly dissatisfied as they provide an option only for three month classes. No clear information about the course structure before the beginning of the course, no in-depth knowledge transfer for one on one coaching, technical issues with the caissa app, no proper response if the coach joins 10 minutes late to the class. Very highly disappointed!.

One of its Kind

Only one of its kind, an artificial intelligence-driven chess-learning platform in India, to be honest. Dedicated coaches, very valuable lessons and a structured approach to consistent improvement in your game. Plus, learning is accompanied by access to multiple tournaments and competitions. If you are looking for that one value addition for your 8-year-old kid this summer, get them a Circle Chess subscription.

Very unprofessional

Very bad experience. Infact horrible. They are very unprofessional. They cancel classes at the last minute. No prior information is given despite checking about the class. They don't revert back in time. For everything a ticket has to be raised. They are slow in resolving issues. Extremely annoying processes and very unprofessional. A child can get disinterested and demotivated in the game because of such places.

Good commitment

I am happy that the people from circle chess are so connected. They response any time for my doubt. The course is very clear. The coach is so clear and patient with kids when they ask any doubt. They give access to app for practising and play with opponents. That is an extra advantage. We got flexible hours for classes.

I am writing this publicly because…

I am writing this publicly because private attempts to resolve a shocking customer experience with CircleChess have been met with empty apologies and repeated failures.

From the very beginning, this platform has demonstrated breathtaking incompetence and indifference:

Complete pre-sales silence despite multiple attempts to contact your team.

Pressure to pay upfront, with no transparency about delayed class availability — a critical detail only revealed after payment.

Unresponsive representatives (Rezitta, Rakshith) who vanish once payment is secured.

A cookie-cutter “apology + refund” response that ignores the real cost of your negligence: wasted time, repeated follow-ups, frustration, and missed opportunities for my daughter’s chess education.

Support team’s final response — offering a simple refund — is an insult. It dismisses everything I’ve repeatedly highlighted: the hours lost, the frustration endured, the trust broken, and the opportunity cost of enrolling elsewhere.

If CircleChess truly stands for “top-class chess coaching,” why does your customer experience resemble a scam? You tout Gukesh’s name and a “world-class” reputation, yet your operations are unprofessional, opaque, and deeply disrespectful to parents who invest in your platform.

I am not just seeking a refund. I am demanding compensation for the complete disruption, stress, and wasted time caused by your team’s negligence. This isn’t about one missed email — it’s about a pattern of failure at every touchpoint.
