I love this class! The teachers are excellent - they make Hebrew accessible and after a short period it is really possible to communicate in Hebrew. I did t speak a word - literally - other than “shalom” before I took the class and now, I’m moving faster than I ever thought I could. I wish I had learned languages like this when I was in high school!

If you have ever wanted to learn conversational Hebrew or improve on the base you have, this is the place. The emphasis is on speaking in every day situations and the method really works!

I have been so impressed with the method, organization and enthusiasm of the teacher. Although learning Hebrew is not easy, it is made to feel like it is easy and the pace moves quickly. I feel so lucky that I found Citizens Cafe. The people are so dedicated to making it a fun and exciting experience. I highly recommend this muscle memory method and encourage anyone who wants to learn Hebrew to jump right in and have fun.

I am having a great experience at Citizen Cafe. Between classes and practice sessions, I’ve been exposed to maybe 10 instructors. They have all been enthusiastic, engaging, amusing, and understanding about how hard it is to learn a language. My fellow students have also been interesting and enjoyable to learn with. I am having fun here while I’m learning.

Citizen cafe is a great place to learn and practise Hebrew. All the teachers are great and they make it super fun to learn. Class sizes are small which gives you an opportunity to answer and ask questions and get fully involved in class. It's awesome too to get to know people from all over the world who want to learn Hebrew. Citizen cafe is not just something you log on to do Hebrew, it's a community to belong to! I fully recommend it!

I've been with CCTLV since 2023, one word is enough: AMAZING! They are truly fantastic, their pedagogy is very good, their teachers are super prepared, and, last but not least, the human and intellectual atmosphere is incredibly warm and welcoming. This school is a jewel. I strongly recommend it to all those who really want to break the ice and get into a serious, exciting and fascinating Hebrew journey!

My experience at Citizen Cafe TLV has been incredible in every aspect. Not only have I learned a lot more Hebrew but I have met amazing people. I look forward to my classes! When my day has been crazy or long, ending it with the class is something i look forward too. The teachers have all been great and they make learning fun.

I am super happy with this program. I’ve tried a lot of other Hebrew programs, and nothing really “stuck.“ But this one is different: they have really great techniques to keep your vocabulary in your brain and for immediate recall!! And they make it a LOT of fun.

Citizen cafe is the best way to learn Hebrew! I tried other courses, and one on one tutors, but they were too complex. Citizen cafe breaks it down and makes learning easier (still not easy learning a new language). They also make the classes fun, which is one of the reasons it works so well. The teachers are all amazing and responsive to questions via what’s app. Practice sessions, in addition to 2 classes/week, are really helpful. The more you speak Hebrew, the more comfortable you feel with the language. I’m excited to continue my learning journey with citizen cafe! Yalla!

I am very happy to recommend the classes at Citizen Cafe, because of the friendly knowledgeable staff and their welcoming atmosphere which immediately creates a great environment for learning. The curriculum caters to all levels, and the enthusiastic instructors make learning fun and engaging. The approach of practicing speaking rather than writing and memorizing proved to work well and helped me improve faster.

Each lesson dives into not just the language, but also the phrases that are common in the culture, which enhances the learning experience.The small class sizes allow for personalized attention and plenty of opportunities to practice speaking and engage with the teacher. Gili was the teacher of my group and she was always happy to help even outside of class hours and answering all questions.

My experience has been fantastic; I've gained a good foundation in Hebrew and was able to read and write from the early couple of classes, and I made great friends along the way. If you're looking to learn Hebrew, these classes are highly recommended!

I have been with Citizen Cafe for about 4 years now and there are not enough words, both in English and in Hebrew to describe how great this community is. I am in my second semester with citizen cafe and I have signed up for 2 more. The classes are fun, the teachers are excellent and engaging, and, most important, I can see that my Hebrew is really improving, if you want to improve your Hebrew and you’re not going to be in an immersion environment, this is the way to go! So happy someone recommended this to me!

I started at Citizen Cafe three years ago. My Hebrew is dramatically better. But more importantly Citizen is a community of friends. We have supported each other through happy and sad times. And we do this exclusively in Hebrew. The focus is on being able to communicate - Citizen doesn't focus on Hifal, Poal, etc etc.. It is all about just talking. We are in touch outside of class - because we care about each other. We look forward to you joining our community.

I am currently in my first semester with Citizen Cafe-and I look forward to it so much. We have a lively group of students and a wonderful teacher. I am learning so much but it's not overwhelming. I've been in other programs which were not half as much fun or informative. I would not hesitate to recommend Citizen Cafe to anyone who wants to learn or improve their conversational Hebrew.

I’m on my second semester with Citizen Cafe and loving it! Fun teachers, engaging program and I’m already having simple conversations with my Israeli husband in Hebrew. The teaching method is absolutely brilliant. I only wish they taught other languages as this is the best language learning method I’ve ever participated in.

They do what they promise - accurate , to the point and fun. Devoted teacher - I love the method. Learning a language is a gym for the mouth. And yes…you get the grammar too 💙🩵
