I love their strategy of practicing and breakout rooms, constant repetition, creating flashcards for us to do homework on our own time, everything is already set on the go for us even if we miss a class we can watch a recording. Great and highly recommend!!!

Citizen Cafe is a treasure. The teachers are upbeat, encouraging, and unfailingly supportive. I especially value the emphasis on speaking and listening skills, and the auxiliary materials are exceptional: flashcards with phrases that include a pronunciation component, listening and speaking exercises in "practice-to-go," and additional, optional live study sessions with students of all ages from around the world. I've tried other Hebrew programs but Citizen Cafe is BY FAR the best. I'm still something of a beginner but my knowledge and skill level have improved immensely.

Expensive but worth every cent. Can’t even count the number of compliments I’ve received on my Hebrew. Engaging classes, incredible teachers, and brilliant curriculum. 10/10 would recommend

I have an introductory meeting and have been waiting in a zoom room for over 30 minutes. they are not responding to my email nor WhatsApp messages. it is impossible to get a human. I feel like my potential business isn't important to them. After making the zoom appointment, I received over 4 messages confirming the meeting yet no one responds to me

I’ve been studying with CC for about 2 years. I really enjoy the method of teaching. Repetition helps me very much. I’ve realized that extra work and practice really helps improve my vocab and verbs. My teachers have all been amazing. Patient and very helpful.

Loving it. Great method and great energy

I started one year ago with Citizen cafe academy, and I am so happy to learn Hebrew, it is an exciting journey! The lessons are well balanced, the teachers are great, adapting to our needs and making the learning process fun and easy. I have learned so much, in just 3-4 hours per week, and I am willing to continue.

Citizen Cafe has given me wonderful learning of the Hebrew language. I entered the program with a baseline knowledge, and I have risen to a very high level. The instructors are wonderful, and the matching of students to the proper levels is right on. There is a wonderful connection in the classes, and along with watching Israeli television and listening to Israeli music, I really feel immersed in the culture. It makes me feel close to Israel and I would highly recommend.

This is THE BEST Hebrew language school if you want to speak—I cannot believe how much I am improving, and it is also incredibly fun! Congrats, you found the course for you!

I started the classes without any expectations and I already see, after 10 classes, that some sentences comes naturally to mind! Teachers are very friendly, classmates as well. A wonderful academy!

Feeling very lucky these days. I’ve had a wonderful career (now retired), a great family, and a lifelong connection to the Jewish world. I’ve been to Israel many times and even learned some Hebrew in school—but something was still missing.

When I retired, I realized that piece of the puzzle was Hebrew. I tried learning from a book, but didn’t get very far.

Then I found Citizens Café—and it’s been a game-changer. I’m now in Level 5 of 12, with a long way to go, but I can’t imagine learning Hebrew any other way. The teachers are fantastic, the method is fun and effective, and best of all, the online format brings together students from all over the world. (There’s an in-person option in Tel Aviv, too.)

Most of all, the vibe is warm, supportive, and unafraid of mistakes—which is exactly what language learning should be.

I am absolutely thrilled to write a review about my learning experience at Citizen Cafe. I have been taking Hebrew for 5 years and was initially quite skeptical of their teaching method at first because I am a visual and grammar based learner. Boy was I proven wrong! My brain completely rebooted after 5 lessons. My teacher is incredibly engaging, positive, creative, patient, and motivating and provides a safe and challenging learning experience. I can say the same about all the staff members that I have met so far. The practice tools and extra curricular activities are so helpful to improve one’s speaking ability. The extra added benefit of this program is you get the chance to meet and develop relationships with other participants from around the world.

I am thoroughly enjoying learning Hebrew with Citizen Cafe. It’s a fun way to connect to the language by not only speaking a great deal, but also learning the latest slang and watching short documentaries and videos that are in Hebrew. The teachers are all lovely and inspire us to continue to do our personal best with our Hebrew journey’s .I highly recommend anybody who wants to learn Hebrew and have fun doing it to sign up for Citizen Cafe.

Simply the best language learning class. The teachers are extremely engaging and helpful. Learning a language is a lot of work but at citizen cafe its also a lot of fun!

The classes are fun and they move at a good pace. I am definitely learning g things and I have more to learn. I am hoping when I am in Israel next more of the language will be accessible to me.
