Amazing experience start to finish

Great technical customer service

I contacted Citrus 3 tech help as I was having trouble with scheduling and was contacted by Samantha who did some work behind the scenes and had it all sorted with 24 hours. Very polite and helpful, great service, very happy I'm with Citrus 3

Citrus3 has been a perfect solution for our radio

Citrus3 has been a great online platform for our radio station. Their user-friendly interface, along with reliable hosting, has enabled us to work with them very smoothly. The support team is always quick in response and very helpful, too. Mobile applications have just changed everything: our listeners can now tune into the radio from anywhere. We have just started using Citrus3 for our business radio service this month. We have the radio set up for our offices, our work vans, and also smart speakers for our workers when they are working on a specific site. Great way to create an atmosphere with music and promote our products. The apps really help keep everyone engaged in all locations.

Upgrade of a Previous Review

Original Review: I have contacted their "zendesk" twice to obtain the service IP and port needed for their app building team to create an Android and Apple app so people could download it and listen to my station. The info was supposed to be in my welcome letter. It was not. They have yet to get back to me. I did get a response from the app builders who said they just build apps and can't help. In 48 hours I am cancelling and will look elsewhere for a company that actually replies to its customers. Do not consider them if you expect support.
Update 8/13/2024: Within 10 hours of my review the folks at Citrus3. They made everything right and I will certainly be continuing with them. Bottom line is that their 3rd party vendor who is supposed to pass requests on to them dropped the ball. I must clearly compliment the folks at Citrus3 on the speed with which they resolved the issue once they became aware that there was one. THAT was 5-star service!!

It seems that we did not receive a support request from you previously. I’m not certain if this was due to an issue with Zendesk, our ticketing system provider, but I couldn’t find any previous ticket under your name. If there was an error on our end, I truly apologize for the oversight.

I have just sent you a direct email with your IP and port information. You can also find this information in your customer account under the 'Mount Points' section in the main menu.

Regarding our support: We are a small, family-run micro tech company, and we strive to respond as quickly as possible. Our support level agreement, which was included in your plan at checkout, guarantees a response within 24 hours. In most cases, I’ll get back to you much sooner than that.

I understand that time zone differences might sometimes cause a delay in our responses, and I appreciate your understanding if you receive a reply from me the following day.

Amazing company 5*

I've been using a previous provider for many years so I was apprehensive about making the switch.

In all honesty I wish I done it sooner, such a great professional company, everything works as it should, the app they made works fantastic, and every single customer service person I've spoke to has been a great help and their time to respond is always very short, thanks to Mathew and Samantha, and anyone else that's helped me.

Seriously disappointing company

Seriously disappointing company. They can't handle their own work load. They promise you an app for your radio station, only to fail on proper coding of said app. DO NOT USE THEM!

I chose Citrus because initially I liked the platform, pricing, and plans. I had done my research and it was easy to sign up and get provisioned efficiently in no time.
Broadcast is a new venture for me, and although from a radio communications background this introduced me to unfamiliar software & programming. From the absolute get go I had help from Matthew & the Citrus team with understanding the dashboard, playlists, media and autodj. Matthew helped me build the basics also supporting a seamless change in subscription, developing mobile apps & streaming to our website.
Then when I wanted to go further and add live broadcast using Radiodj on a stand alone encoder from a modest studio. Matthew was there again with advise, hints and tips.
Most importantly it has been engaging & fun because you can make it as simple or as sophisticated a journey building your internet radio station.

Jazz and sports radio prefection.

Cheers Citrus3. More than happy with my free apps. Just set up a Jazz channel and looking at setting up a second stream next month for my news and sports channel. Hopefully an entire network by the summer :)

The best customer service from Matthew, I’ve been with the rest of the internet radio platforms out there but I think Citrus 3 is the best although I’ve had problems with my windows support working properly this citrus3, a problem that I will hopefully correct soon!
