When I read "cannot recommend highly enough" or similar, I usually assume it's just a reflection of reasonably good customer service.

Not so with City. A lot went wrong on move day (or days as it ended up being) and ALL OF IT was made so much easier because of the exceptional care, support and advice we received from the Packers, the movers and head office. Simply superb. And at exceptionally good rates.

From our first engagement all the way through the team were professional, when the legal side of the move started to go wonky, we received human kindness, and understanding that went way beyond "going th extra mile". The team are all heroes..and that isn't hyperbole, they are.

From the initial contact with City removals for a quote which was very good to the removal date I had great service from all of the team involved. The removal team were very efficient, helpful and friendly and the day was stress free even though the removal was to 2 different addresses. I would highly reccomend them and I will be using them again in the future

I would highly recommend City Removals.
They professionally moved my 2 bed flat to our new house. They packed the whole house on one day and moved it the next. Fast, reliable and efficient!

Had one van and a crew of three moving my furniture etc between flats. They arrived on time and were efficient and experienced. Some of the furniture is heavy solid hardwood and polished but they protected and moved everything in a very careful way. Happy with the service. One picture had the glass cracked but that was my fault for not packing it properly. I did a fair amount of research in advance as it can be difficult to find a removal company which is reliable and fair value, so that investment of time paid off.

I cannot recommend enough this company!!! Excellent, professionals, quick and friendly! We had a big move but they made it very easy for us. Thank you!!

I used City Removals for a move from London to Essex in March 2021, and the whole experience was positive and stress free. We used the packing service also, and I would say that is highly recommended. The service may not be the cheapest available, but I would definitely use them again.

I was very happy with the service provided by City removals. The packing option was the best money spent - really reduced my stress levels! Day 1, the gentleman packed away the whole house into labelled boxes! Day 2 - 7am start they loaded 2 luton vans and were on the road by mid morning. By the afternoon we were in the new place! They put the beds together and furniture where I'd asked them to. Competitively priced too!

City Removals did an excellent job for us and were efficient and pleasant in everything did. They did everything they promised. Dropped off some boxes in advance, which was very helpful. There were 2 men on the packing day and 5 on the removal day. They worked quietly and efficiently and were friendly. When we got here our sofa just would not go down the stairs. They found another way to do it, by removing our back window and hauling it down. Brilliant solution and very creative. Two weeks later they came and picked up our boxes with 24 hours notice. Very highly recommended.

Truly cannot fault City Removals, arrived 6.30am for 7am start, everything loaded up by 10am arrived at new premises by 1pm before us. The removal men put everything where it should be. The beds were dismantled and reassembled all we had to do was make the bed.

Absolutely excellent. The guys worked really hard, were super efficient at both the packing and the moving and saved us a lot of headache.
Hopefully won’t be moving again for a while but would definitely use again and would recommend to anyone who does, they made something that could be incredibly stressful and time consuming super easy.

The van arrived earlier than arranged it was very pleased to see this, rather than turning up late. They were very efficient and took good care of my property. The loading took approximately 2 hours. We then drove to my new property and then waited about 45 minutes when the keys were handed over to me. All items were then placed in the flat. Again very pleased with the way your staff went about their business. All of my items were in good condition.

We have used this company before and they were very good. They worked tirelessly to finish the job and we tipped each one of them as we were so pleased. I am now writing this review to say that despite a disappointing start to the day, the 3 men worked diligently and with care to remove my belongings and to store them safely. They managed to get everything done by 5pm and were courteous and considerate. I would also like to thank City-Removals for dealing with the concerns I had. They are a well-priced organisation and they will work throughout the day to get the entire job done. So a big thank you to your guys who helped me to move! It is always nice to resolve differences of opinion. I do recommend this company.
